@@christtruthreveal63 read my comment again...very clear you completely misunderstood me.
What I meant is that whether you hold to a calvanistic view of predestination or not, you can surely agree that the Lord is worthy to receive glory and honor and power. You can agree that He has created all things and that everything created He created for His pleasure.
Who disagrees with this? Surely not someone that calls themselves Christian?

Me too!!! But i truly don't understand this, If God made us all, and he knows everything about what's gonna happen in our lives, he could very easily change stuff to make us all serve him instead. Yet he doesn't. Why? Because apparently we have free will. However, he knows what is gonna happen, so basically he had it planned out from the very start. So in conclusion, he has a plan, he works together beleivers and non-beleivers into that plan, but then again, it's HIS plan that HE ordained. We are just playing according to that plan.
In another argument, one could say that God has a purpose for us in the end, and he has many plans to get us there. The problem with this is if he is sovereign and all-knowing, how come he doesn't know which plan we take due to our freewill?
Another problem is, the Bible mentions that God doesn't tempt us. But if God has predetermined eveything, he knows of our sins. Why doesn't he prevent it? So logically, is he is the one tempting us?
Lastly, if God has predetermined eveything, why must we pray? To build a connection with God yes, but it's futile nonetheless as we're going according to his plan anyways so what's the point?

Before the foundation of the world, he saw all of history unfold before him. As he did so, he noted those that he saw accept him as God before the Word became flesh and those whom he saw accept Jesus when they heard the Gospel. He then predestinated those who believed in him before the cross to become like father Abraham...
And those of us who've accepted Jesus to be conformed to the image of his Son so WE would be just as much his children as his Firstborn is. (Romans 8:29)
Which explains why he loves us as much as he loves Jesus. (John 17:23)
This is also how he already knew everything he will ever do before the foundation of the world. (Acts 15:18) My Daddy's the BEST!!!

1st John 4:8 he that don't know love, don't know God, FOR GOD IS LOVE.
We all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God so we cannot make just a free will choice in the flesh that we need to die of Daly and choose Christ when he chose us before the world began.
PLEASE READ THIS TO THE END MY FRIEND 🙏❤✝️😎🥰
God's CHOSEN ELECT were Chosen by God and GIVEN JESUS, BEFORE the
W🌎RLD BEGAN, according to the Scriptures. We need to die of our flesh daily, Matthew 16:24 So are we the ones who chose God? John 6:44 No, cause if a sinner is LOST IN SIN. How can ANYONE make a free will choice TO SAVE THEMSELVES ⁉️👎
THEY CAN'T AS FREE WILL CHOICE IS NOWHERE FOUND IN THE BIBLE.
In FACT Jesus spoke against it in 2 Peter 2:9 10 (the LOST is Self-willed) and in Titus 1:7-8 (the SAVED is NOT 🚫 Self-willed)
Also Jesus said in Matthew 7 21 23
Just cuz you say Lord Lord, DOES NOT 🚫 get you into the kingdom of heaven, BUT THOSE THAT DO THE WILL OF MY FATHER WHICH IS IN HEAVEN. (Spiritual Obedience)
      v. 22 And many will say unto me on that day (THE GREAT WHITE THRONE JUDGMENT Rev. 20:11-15), Lord Lord, have we not prophesied in your name, and in your name cast out devils 👿, AND DONE MANY WONDERFUL WORKS? (Works in the flesh) Romans 8 8
      v. 23 And I (Jesus) Will profess unto them, depart from me, you that work iniquity, I NEVER EVER KNEW YOU.
I BELIEVE that Free Will choice is 100% HERESY, or False Teaching ACCORDING to the SCRIPTURES as a Real Christian is to do the WILL of GOD ALMIGHTY which is called OBEDIENCE.

2 Thessalonians 2:13 ,,,, BECAUSE GOD HATH FROM THE BEGINNING CHOSEN YOU TO SALVATION THROUGH SANCTIFICATION of the SPIRIT and BELIEF of the TRUTH
2 Timothy 1:9 Who hath SAVED US, AND CALLED US WITH AN HOLY CALLING, Not according to our works, (or FREE WILL CHOICE in the flesh)
BUT ACCORDING TO HIS OWN PURPOSE AND GRACE, WHICH WAS GIVEN US IN CHRIST JESUS BEFORE THE
      W🌎RLD BEGAN.
Titus 1:2 In HOPE of ETERNAL LIFE, which GOD, that cannot lie, PROMISED BEFORE THE
      W🌎RLD BEGAN.

This is an interesting analysis. I am truly blessed as I can compare to Biblical texts in other languages. In french the BDS version verse 5 says (rough translation) « He predestined us to be His children, that He wanted to adopt through Jesus-Christ. This is what He wanted for us in His goodness ». God chooses us but gives us the free will to not choose Him back if that’s our choice.

    The main passages in context:
ROMANS 9:The God in his absolute election v.11-16, chose to save by the means of faith and not by works v.30-33, that's Paul's conclusion of what he has said so far (that's why in v.11 he put God's election in opposition to "works" but not in opposition to faith). And he explains more about the same theme in 10:8-9 he says: "this is the word of faith WE preach: IF YOU...believe...will be saved" Not before believing. And not if YOU don't believe, that's God's absolute election to save that Paul was talking and preaching, and he doesn't say 'God will make you believe or God will believe for you without YOU believing. That's why it is with "No difference" v.12-13, (2:11)(3:22-23) and that's why Paul finishes his explanation of the three chapters with the final purpose of God :
" for God has consigned all men to disobedience , that HE may have MERCY on THEM ALL" (11:32).
EPHESIANS 1: God by His absolute grace and will predestined us IN Christ... To be holy...v.4. To be adopted.. V. 5...etc., but to be sealed IN Him by the Holy Spirit is "after YOU heard...and BELIEVED ...v.13.(in greek "believed" is in the active voice which means that the action of the verb is activated by the subject "You"). Again, Paul doesn't say 'God made you believe' but "YOU believed..and IN Him were sealed ..." So: GOD chose to save, knowing that PEOPLE would believe(God didn't ignore that, that's why He PREdestined). And since He had no obligation that salvation be through faith, by providing that it be by this means "HE chose" by His absolute grace to give us the opportunity to believe, so that WE may believe.
ROMANS 8:28- they say the word "foreknew" in v.29 means that God had an intimate relationship with the elect before time began, but it only means to know before hand, for ex: in John 5:42 Jesus said to the jews who tried to kill Him " i KNOW you..."(same greek word in Rom.8:29) but He doesn't mean that He had an intimate relationship with them.
.And we were not justified before the creation of the world, in 4:2-3 Paul already explained that "Abraham believed God and it was credited to him as righteousness" Not before.(and the action of the verb "believed" was made by Abraham ) And the way Abraham was justified is a pattern for all of us v.9- 25, "for all nations" (Gal.3:6-8).
.Also the Bible says that there's no boasting when we believe Rom.3:27-28, 4:2-3, because faith is according to His grace. 4:16.

You put your finger correctly on 'free will' at 6:30. We all have the free will to choose to accept Jesus or to reject Jesus. We all receive the call. We each decide what the answer to the call will be. By your own choice, either you are in or you are out. See Rev. 3:16.

In context, of Matthew 20, Jesus is speaking to two different groups of believers, not one group who will receive salvation and one which won't. The context is first and last. The chosen 12 and the called millions of Christians is what I think Jesus is referring to in this parable.
In the context of Matthew 22 parable, then the dividing is between those who choose to come and those who choose not to respond to the invite (many called, few chosen) to the wedding feast. THE GUESTS were doing the choosing, the wedding host king was doing the calling.
So that completely refutes God choosing who comes to the wedding.
John 3:15 That WHOSOEVER believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.

Nothing like the topic of predestination to divide God's people. However, I will stand firm in my belief in free choice. I have asked God numerous times to correct me if I am wrong. To lead me into the light and reveal the truth behind the matter to me. To really put it on my heart if the Calvinist belief is true. I will not accept the opinion of one side or the other from man, only what God reveals to me through the spirit. God has yet to do that, therefore I stand firm on my belief of free choice until otherwise.

About four minutes into this video.
The contact creator stated that God doesn’t predetermine in nature that’s a misunderstanding.
If God didn’t predetermine in nature none of us will physically die, so when we’re talking about determinism we’re talking about the physical body or all physical creation.
Predestination is based on a promise through the sovereign will and ability for God to fulfill his promise,
To summarize the argument only God could have predetermined the ‘natural world, and the spiritual world simultaneously.
The Predestination of scripture, states whosoever shall believe shall have eternal life according to election is a promise that only God can keep without obstructing Free WILL…
So here goes the counterfactual argument that God promises whosoever doesn’t believe will spend eternity in death separated from God as the nonbeliever wishes to be.
But we all die of physical death…

I don't want my choices to be my life, I want God's plan ONLY. I don't want choice or free will, I only want his will. I'm okay with being a puppet. So, while God does predestine some things, this verse says clearly NOT everything. It's like a university predestining a football team but giving free will to players themselves to decide whether or not to come out for that team.

Here's something we do need to understand: We, as sinners, naturally stray from God and it is impossible by ourselves to come to God and to want to seek Him (Romans 3:10-12). God is the one who draws us to Himself, not us (John 6:65, John 6:44). In that same way, therefore, we are chosen by God since we cannot by nature choose Him. He literally has to choose us. If we are all deserving of death and hell, then God is perfectly just to give us that, but He didn't. God is not obligated to save anyone, but the fact that God even chose anyone at all is absolutely wild!

Great and simple explanation!!! Why can't people see it? Just breaks my heart. Personally, I understand that predestination or pre determination is to help those who choose him of their own free will. I believe that our choosing him makes him get up from his throne and do everything he can to help us overcome a supernatural adversary that has been around for millenia and even seduced a third of the angels who were in the presence of God and knew all about him. That is why the angels that made the wrong 'choice' were never forgiven. There was no excuse. As for us mere humans he gives us the greater gifts to overcome such an adversary . He gives us Grace, Faith, Love, Adoption as Sons, and the Power of the Holy Spirit. These are the 'benefits' of predestination that followed when he foresaw us choosing him before the foundation of the world.

Left in our natural fallen state, our free will is unable to choose God (John 6:44, Ephesians 2:1, Isaiah 64:6). God has to act first and initiate salvation. He has to turn a heart of stone into a heart of flesh. He has to raise the dry bones and bring them to life. If our spiritual condition is properly understood, then it is also understood that no one is able to choose God without God having chosen them first. God bless you bro! Calvinism denies the free will of man. However, Scripture teaches that man has free will to choose God as verified by the following passages:
Joshua 24:15 - And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, CHOOSE you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.
Joshua 24:22 - Then Joshua said, “You are witnesses against yourselves that you have CHOSEN to serve the Lord.”
“Yes, we are witnesses,” they replied.
The word "chosen" in Joshua 24:22 indicates that man has free will and indicates the action taken by the people as a result of the exhortation given in Joshua 24:15.
Deuteronomy 30:19 - 19 I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore CHOOSE life, that both thou and thy seed may live:
Again, the word "choose" indicates that God has given us FREE WILL.
Judges 10:14 - 14 Go and cry unto the gods WHICH YE HAVE CHOSEN; let them deliver you in the time of your tribulation.
Ezra 8:28 - And I said unto them, Ye are holy unto the Lord; the vessels are holy also; and the silver and the gold are a FREEWILL offering unto the Lord God of your fathers.
Psalm 119:108 - Accept, I beseech thee, the FREEWILL offerings of my mouth, O Lord, and teach me thy judgments.
Isaiah 66:3- He that killeth an ox is as if he slew a man; he that sacrificeth a lamb, as if he cut off a dog's neck; he that offereth an oblation, as if he offered swine's blood; he that burneth incense, as if he blessed an idol. Yea, they have CHOSEN THEIR OWN WAYS, and their soul delighteth in their abominations.

John 6:44 No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him. And I will raise him up on the last day. Why can't people just accept Gods sovereignty. We have free will to live the way we want here on earth but we don't own heaven like we just choose if we want to go in or not. Have you ever seen an adoptee choose his adopter? Its the other way around, the adopter is always the one who choose which child to adopt.

      @bible1st 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

We know that God is sovereign, you just misunderstand what God has made.
God chose us before the foundation of the earth, but that stems from his foreknowledge, he doesn't predetermine our choice but he just knows all of the outcomes and possibilities. Love cannot be forced or else it's not real love. Knowledge doesn't imply causation. You have mistaken predestination for predetermination? This isn't just my opinion, but it's all throughout the bible , the bible teaches both freewill and Predestination and election, your just mixed up on the mechanics of how that actually unfolds according to what God has made.
This is where our understanding starts to break down upon the realization that both are true but we are finite minds trying to understand a infinite being however we have to go by scripture.

My question comes from reading a part of 2 Thessalonians ch 2 v 13 “…because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth.”
To prevent you from getting sidetracked with God choosing, to salvation, I stress the question again. Why does the Holy Spirit need to sanctify a person before the belief of the truth; not trying to trick you. If you don’t know that is ok, we all must learn to wait on the Lord and this includes waiting for him to give us understanding. The Spirit of God is responsible to bring understanding and teaching.

And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.

A God who already knows who's going to hell before he ever creates them is not compatible with free will.
    1. It's impossible for me to choose something outside of God foreknowledge
    2. Gods foreknowledge existed before I was born.
    3. Every choice I will ever make has already been determined before I was born.

I have mostly agreed with all of the videos that I've seen about your explanations of the word but I have to disagree with you a little bit on this brother even though I love you and I admire you and I don't consider myself a calvinist I just consider myself a receiver of Grace because God is good, anyhow, I believe that you don't fully understand what the will is and if it is truly free. The term " Free Will " was just coined in the last hundred years probably or something like that and it does not reflect a true idea, Arthur w pink really explains it well in his book The sovereignty of God I highly recommend it to you brother it is a short read but you will truly be enriched, 👍

Brother, can you please help me understand this. I am okay with explaining God chosing in a calvinistic view or sovereign view or other view. I am scared to see a perspective, where God making us unholy and then making us holy in christ and for this reason he made man to fall. Why bcz to the glory of his grace... will a loving father would force us like this, either for his glory or determination. As i said, i am a sinner and god only chosing me as a calvinistic or sovereign way is fine for me. Because it is god who can show such love n grace. But he only throwing us in sin or trials or temptations and cleaning us in him for his glory and also to showcase his love, this version is scaring me. Can you plz help..

"He predestined us for adoption to Himself as sons through Jesus Christ."
If God hasn't chosen you for adoption to Himself as sons, then you are not part of His family. Do adopted kids do the choosing or does the one who is adopting the child do the choosing? This is not complicated. But so many people make it complicated by disregarding that the adopted child isn't the one who did the choosing.

    The Most Important Message:
Ancient Of Days & Jesus came together to send me a message as one. He propped me up in my bed half asleep & placed His message directly into my mind/existence & moved my fingers to write this (it felt like I was vibrating in His light & He won’t let me forget it - it’s like I memorized it in a couple minutes verbatim):
‘I was asked to call God, as he gave me the command. After I complied & asked for a call he answered & gave me a phone call. I was in disbelief for two seconds then I held up water in a white porcelain cup filled near the rim & listened to his still and quiet voice from the lips of the ripples of the waters.’
The message is as follows. He said:
    1. Any wicked man who should try to move another mountain is dumb. (Creating towers of Babylon around the world.)
    2. Making a mountain out of a mole hill is a war that will never be won. (God sees this wicked generation as a molehill which will be leveled & overthrown.)
    3. All those that are wicked are the ones who deny my son (Jesus). (Self explanatory.)
    4. All those who pickup arms will die by the gun. (Those who should try to keep their lives shall lose it.)
    5. All things I do for my pleasure but some of it is not fun. (God does not enjoy chastising his children with punishment.)
Jesus & I have begun to sow reparations for the wickedness which has been sown. Thank you Michael. ♥️”

Our freewill is one thing God has never crossed boundary with. Nevertheless, He has prepared a path and a lifestyle for those who by will believe with their hearts that Christ died for their sins and confess with their mouths that Jesus Christ is Lord.

      What about Jonah and Pharoah?
And the LORD PREPARED a great fish to swallow up Jonah; and Jonah was in the belly of the fish three days and three nights. Jonah 1:17
And it says God hardened Pharoahs heart...it seems like God does what pleases to Him including overriding our free will. Jonah wanted to run run run but God would NOT allow that! He could have given up on Jonah and commanded a different Prophet to send to Ninevah but the story is not about Ninevah I beleive.....its about Jonah, His beloved child. God pursues us until the end to accomplish His will for our lives. That's comforting that we can't outrun God and that He will command and cause things to happen for our OWN GOOD in spite of our sin nature that wants to run, hide and cover ourselves with shame like Adam and Eve.

@@mybigfatexpatlife6865 Hello. Peace be unto you God's beloved. I will not answer your question directly i am sorry but i will say some little things that God has taught me and I have learnt. For Pharaoh and Jonah, God already knew their minds were made up from the beginning, That is why in Exodus 3:19 explains this. Same thing with Jonah. But the bid deal about God in these examples were not just the characters but the lives, the people that their "childish" decisions could affect.
So what i strongly believe is that God is always in the constant activity of making us believe He is the sovereign God!
Gal 5: 17 has helped me understand how great our free will is to both the sinful desire and the Holy Spirit desire. So in the context of your questions freewill might not be truly understood but very well in line with the contest of the video.
      God bless you 😊

Who told you that will is free?

  • @johnsteindel5273

This would be right if the text said "he chose those who would later believe in him"... That we should be holy and blameless, or put the way he's trying to say he chose those who are already in him to be predestined - he looked down the corridors of time to see who will choose him, after that he predestines them for adoption, holiness ,etc. that's actually post-ratification. God does not choose in that scenario, man chooses then God is compelled by mans choice. But the text says the choice is God's "he chose us in Him before the foundation of the world". He chooses those who will be in him. If you chose God, freely and apart from God's action, why did you choose when so many don't, what is it about you that makes you so different that you would choose God?

    • @Kemomaki
      @Kemomaki 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

If God made us all, and he knows everything about what's gonna happen in our lives, he could very easily change stuff to make us all serve him instead.

In Ezekiel God said He will cause the people to walk in His statutes and cause them to obey His commands.
    Ezekiel 36:22-32
    English Standard Version
I Will Put My Spirit Within You
22 “Therefore say to the house of Israel, Thus says the Lord God: It is not for your sake, O house of Israel, that I am about to act, but for the sake of my holy name, which you have profaned among the nations to which you came. 23 And I will vindicate the holiness of my great name, which has been profaned among the nations, and which you have profaned among them. And the nations will know that I am the Lord, declares the Lord God, when through you I vindicate my holiness before their eyes. 24 I will take you from the nations and gather you from all the countries and bring you into your own land. 25 I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you shall be clean from all your uncleannesses, and from all your idols I will cleanse you. 26 And I will give you a new heart, and a new spirit I will put within you. And I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. 27 And I will put my Spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes and be careful to obey my rules.[a] 28 You shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers, and you shall be my people, and I will be your God. 29 And I will deliver you from all your uncleannesses. And I will summon the grain and make it abundant and lay no famine upon you. 30 I will make the fruit of the tree and the increase of the field abundant, that you may never again suffer the disgrace of famine among the nations. 31 Then you will remember your evil ways, and your deeds that were not good, and you will loathe yourselves for your iniquities and your abominations. 32 It is not for your sake that I will act, declares the Lord God; let that be known to you. Be ashamed and confounded for your ways, O house of Israel.

Very interesting. How does the word Elect and the verses that go along with it and John 6:44 which states that No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day play into the interpretation you have made in this video?

Love this video but how would you interpret verses like John 6:44, acts 13:48, revelation 13:8 and most definitely Romans 9:19-23? Other Bible verses say He wishes that all would reach repentance and whoever come to Him He will not cast out, but I think that’s speaking in terms of our limited perception of free will. I don’t think Calvinistic predestination and free will contradict at all. God is outside of time - the choice to predestine us is one that exists outside of time. Inside of time we have no idea who is called or not, so in our free will we choose to or not to follow Christ. But that choice that we are making is first influenced by the Holy Spirit. He has to unblind our hearts in order for us to desire to follow Him in the first place - and I believe He unblinds those who He has chosen to “draw to Himself” as the verses above state and harden the hearts of those who do not believe. The Bible says to the natural man the things of God are foolish. All of us find Him foolish until He opens our eyes. An analogy to help understand it better: if a father puts ice cream on the table and says his child can choose to eat it or not, the child’s probably gonna use his free will to choose to eat it! But he had to have the ice cream provided first to make that choice. That’s just my take on it

Calvinists, I'm asking this sincerely, not with an "I'm going to prove them wrong" attitude.
How do you reconcile Luke 13:34-35 with predestination?
34 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the city that kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to it! How often would I have gathered your children together as a hen gathers her brood under her wings, and you were not willing! 35 Behold, your house is forsaken. And I tell you, you will not see me until you say, ‘Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!’”
Why would Jesus long to gather them under His wing, and be upset enough to weep bitterly because they would not? Why would He weep over an impossibility, and impossibility that He Himself created? The house is forsaken, b=meaning, at one time the house was not forsaken.
Also, what about "Choose this day Whom you will server?
It seems to me that there are so many scriptures that refute Calvinism that it makes no sense to "camp out" on one extreme or another. How do you folks handle this apparent contradiction? Again, I'm asking sincerely. I am prepared to learn if anyone can explain it.

    • @ScottHackett-u3d
      @ScottHackett-u3d 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

I am not. I sighted some specific scriptures that I believe support what I believe about man not choosing God but the reverse. After your response I became convicted about going down that road. In many churches I have attended the men don’t seem to be interested in learning more about God which I find very confusing and frustrating. They are content to let their wives fill that role. I am not. So, while we disagree I am very glad to see that you are searching. That gives me hope for the younger generation. I’m not going to discourage you but rather ask for your forgiveness. God bless you.

Jason says: “God determined before the foundation of the world how he would treat those who believed in His son.” Perfect. And before He said “Let there be light,” He knew exactly who would choose to believe in His son and who would not. Irrefutable. Which means before Adam took a single breath, God knew EXACTLY who (and how many countless-billions, trillions?) of souls would end up tormented for eternity. He knew this BEFORE anyone even existed. And He knew of each individual specifically. With that knowledge, he pressed “go” on the universe, and everyone was born with their destiny to choose Jesus or go to hell already known by God and utterly unavoidable by them. It is completely impossible to avoid the fact that this is the condition we are calling free will.

You know when I first heard this I accepted it without a doubt. It made so much sense because I was away from the faith made up in my mind Im not coming back.. But then I always had a sense of this massive pull back to the fold. Jesus does not lose not a one. I don't know fully if I am predestined but My God to know this ALL before He created us before He created EVERYTHING, the magnitude of that type of knowledge only One God can process.
