I suppose my personal Avengers display is going to be a bit of a hybrid of classic costumed core Avengers from the two seasons of Earths Mightiest Heroes, the Avengers that appeared in the old arcade game Captain America and the Avengers, and any stragglers that have a strong enough connection to Ultron and the Ultron Unlimited storyline. Currently the only ones I can think of that I'm missing is a decent Thor (I'm torn between the 80th version and Ragnarok), Carroll Danvers (I'm thinking of getting the new Warbird that should be coming out, but I really want the costume used in the show), a giant sized classic Giant-Man (don't know if I should get the Toybiz or wait for the Haslab as both are going to be a bit pricey from what I've seen), and I'm still waiting for my 80th hulk and family matters 3pack to arrive.
Sounds like a great set up - and that is the beauty of the Avengers (and this hobby in general) - you can make it exactly how you want!

This is an absolutely amazing Avengers display. I loved watching you put it together. The atk_sculpture Captain America head is the cherry on top. Was curious to know what shield you use for your Captain America? Hope you do more display videos like this. A Spider-Man or Fantastic Four would be cool to see. Keep up the great work.
I really appreciate that. I honestly don't know what shield that was - I have a whole box of Cap figures and I just pulled one. It was the one I was using when recreating all the Secret Wars covers. Look for a Spidey Villains shelf video coming soon!
Me and my brother grew up reading about Nova and InHumans and the West coast Avengers, and also my son is asking for a nova mystery box
A Nova box might be tough to pull off, but I will highlight some different versions eventually!

I know this an old video, but it's helped inspire me on a few different shelves. I'm thinking of doing a Pym-centric shelf for my Haslabs Giant Man. I'm not Pym's biggest fan either, but I've been a fan of Scott Lang and Cassie since the A-next days and have been looking for an excuse to use the two-pack Hasbro gave us, plus I've been really enjoying the Al Ewing run of books. I also just like the idea of big Hank surrounded by Wasp, Ant Man, etc.
That said, not sure if I'll get a response, but I'll ask just to see: If you were going to do such a display, who would you include? I'm trying to keep to one Identity per character (though not one of each identity, since I'd love to have Janet and Nadia as both Wasps) so just the one Hank Pym.
If you can get that Toy Biz Ant-Man, I think that is the best Pym Ant-Man, the new one is much more Lang. I think if I was doing this display, I’d include Jocasta and Ultron as well! Thanks for watching and good luck!!!
Awesome display as always Carbon! A few more Avengers you could add are War Machine, Spider-Man, and Dr. Strange. Those are essentials for my Avengers, but I also have too many essential members. 🤣🤣🤣

Well, I have, as many know, a 76 member Avengers Team. That's 5 Hank Pym, 2 Scott Lang, 2 Carol Danvers, 7 Customs, soon to be down to 6, and 3 Fudges.

Why so many Hank Pym versions?
I would take out both Gian-Man. Or one Giant-Man and Yellow Jacket. And replace them with "Jocasta."
Partly because he is a founding Avenger and his story makes up a ton of Avengers history and partly because the different heights and sizes of those figures really helps break up the display

Though we don’t have a classic Mantis we need one #114, you can’t leave Beast #137 out Moondragon invited herself to the team in issue #137 too, Hellcat #144 and posthumous Captain Mar-vell Jocasta was gonna be offered Membership but she left before she could accept, and Falcon was forced into membership in #181 , Sub Mariner was also a member as well as Mr Fantastic and the invisible woman, Scott Lang Ant-man
Yep - tough choices to leave some of those out, especially Beast - just ran out of room and didn’t want to crowd the display
I would suggest adding Jocasta, while not formally an avenger, she was a mansion mainstay in the 70s.
Strongly considered it - just ran out of space - didn't want this getting too crowded
Hmm this is tough.. though my favorite Avengers lean more heavy on the New Avengers with some of the classic Avengers as favorites. I didn’t get into comics until High School where I started picking up on some stories and even enjoyed the likes of the civil war event.
Yep - everyone comes into this at different times - that is why there are no right or wrong answers - just the displays and figures that make you happy!

love the vid at the end you ask who would you have included and a little fix there isn’t much variety as most of the figures are just Hank I’d personally remove some of them and replace em with more members so a more diverse collection is created representing other members
I hear that for sure - he takes up a bunch of slots, but he also is a founding Avenger, his story is directly tied into Avengers history and those Giant Man/Goliath figures really provide some height to the display and balance it out I think
You make a display of all the Marvel characters that were in The Defenders(comics).

So far my Avengers display is with AI Iron Man, Ultimate Captain America, deluxe Black Widow, Wonder Man, Black Panther, Scarlet Witch and Tigra for now though but I definitely like your very own Avengers displays.

Avengers is always a fun team to see people come up with displays for. There's so many members with so many looks across so many eras that thers's a lot of flexibility with which characters/figures people choose to add. I think this is a solid team here!

Is the iron patriot a custom? I know the Norman head is from the mezco Ditko styled goblin, but where was that base body come from, it look really well done by the way!
I believe it's a figure from the old Iron-Man 1 movie line that had Captain America's colors. "Technically" not a Marvel Legends.

amazing. would had took out Mockirbird and Black Knight because they are from before or after this era, and put in my Avengers that are from Avengers 141 (first Perez) to Avengers 202 (last Perez in classic run) the missing members from this era on your display are: Beast, Jarvis (yep I count him), Mantis, Moondragon, Starfox and Swordsman

I've got a pretty mini display for my Avengers. I've got a Captain America, Iron Man, Hulk, Ant-Man, and Spider-Man fighting Ultron. I'm trying to get the Thor vs Destroyer 2 pack but I'm waiting for a sale on that because $60 is a bit too much. I also really want to get the Hawkeye and sky cycle set eventually.

Those figure stands in the description, aren’t they for the 3.75” Star Wars figures? Did they require any cutting to fit into the Marvel Legends peg holes or was it a perfect fit?
Most of the time, I just hot glue the feet to the stands - I have never had it damage the figure and it provides much more dynamic posing options

Agree on Mantis and Swordsman - the Marvel Selects at 7 inches don’t always work (except for oversized guys like Hulk)
