TLDR: Love and miss our 2016 Challenger SP and like our 2020 Charger SP. I bought a 2016 Challenger SP Jazz Blue in spring of 2020. All friends and family affectionately called her...Blue ;). She had 30k miles and had been garaged during winters by the first/previous owner. I bought her a set of Blizzaks and we took her to North Shore about 4 miles from the Canadian border which is North of Duluth, Minnesota for our honeymoon the first week of November. A lot of folks up there thought we were crazy driving her in the extreme winter conditions. One gent never saw a newer challenger and thought she was a retro mod build. We kept her til Feb last year. She had 76k miles on her and still strong as hell after being Daily driver 45 miles to work one-way 98% highway 5 days a week for 2 years. Last Feb we traded her up for a 2020 Charger SP Pitch Black like the one in the video and my wife cried as I signed Blue's title as a trade in. I didn't have any dislikes about the Challenger...tbh when this 2020 is paid off, or close, I'm going try and find her to buy back. As far as the 2020 Charger, I like it, loved Blue. My personal con of the Charger is that I now blend in with all the other sedans. The minor differences of the Challenger vs Charger for my wife and I has to do with us being over 50. After my work day and 45 mile drive home in the Challenger I was just wore out. With the Charger, not worn out at all. My stepson, who has been in the car industry for many years, pointed out that it's because I'm no longer sitting on the torque during the Mpls stop and go rush-hour. The Charger has a full-size door and bench seat that separates me from the rear axle's torque. We have driven both vehicles to Oklahoma, which is a 10 1/2 hour drive, and both are extremely comfortable. They're heavy cars and with that weight comes a pleasant ride.

How Responsive are the Transmissions On These Cars? I'm Used to The Slow Sluggish Transmissions in the Speed Nag1 Transmissions I Hated Those Things They Made the Hemi's Performance So Slow And Sluggish. There's Nothing Disappointing that to Have a Powerful Engine But A Slow and Sluggish Transmission to Transmit all that Power.
This is a good question because this was also important to me. The scat pack has a ZF 8-speed transmission. It gives you snappy gear responses and a satisfying “crack” sound when you upshift under load…. The zf is also in most bmws and the Supra. Very responsive transmission which can also be as smooth as butter when driving nice and slow

Are you sure there's no rust? You might want to look in the corners of the front fenders, where the bumper mounts app to it same goes with the back quarter panels where the bumper touches the quarter panel on the top lip edge. They had a issue with runs and the bumper would knock the run off and there would be bare metal.😮
Very interesting… this car is no longer with us though. Thank you for sharing, this comment can help future and current owners
It's a miracle it hasn't been stolen yet
Oh they’ve tried
@@SlipStreamTVhow did you prevent if from getting stolen? Kill switch?
@@manuelberry4058 kill switch…. Or store it in ur garage instead of leaving it outside
I've had to pull out my 9 once to deter some thieves, they bolted off pretty quick , one of the perks of being in the south
What exhaust u have on it
Stock exhaust with a muffler delete…. Cheap and very effective
Best review
I Appreciate that bro 🤝⚡️
If its 100k miles or 70k to 90k miles on it is it bad getting one like tht bc its not like u fin get lower den dat now since dey stop makin em
How you did a muffler delete and still have the mufflers
I see you driving through Carteret bro 😂 clean scat tho 👌🏾
😂😂😂 Carteret born and raised …. Thanks 🤝⚡️
Where are you located fam? I’m in Jersey myself. I’d love to show you all the mods I did to my 2019 Daytona Scat Pack 392.
Sure …Middlesex county area … perth amboy
What all mods did you do?
Would you buy a used 2019 scat with 37k miles?
Hell yea
@@SlipStreamTV I’m tempted but want to get it checked first. Looks great condition but shows airbag was deployed about a year ago. Other than that, the carfax looked clean
@@donavangragg6018 yup do all the checks needed….. but if it’s all good I’d say go for it
I'm thinking about getting a 2021 charger scat back with 16k miles for 43k. Should I go for it?
@@jamesjacksoniii2400 this car hit 90k with no issues… 16k is practically new. Just do all your checks and balances and if everything is good go for it…good luck 🤞
Car looks stunning ! Tell me exactly what wheels are those ? Color brand size
Dam I wish I could tell u… imma try to look them up again and tell ya
What kind of exhaust you have
It’s just a muffler delete lol still has the stock exhaust
Can't go wrong with a Dodge Charger or Challenger Scat Pack
I want a Scatpack now 😭😍😍
Make it happen!! Haha
Love the sound of that!!
Crazy what muffler delete can do
I love this car bro
Thanks!! Videos don’t do it justice tbh lol
my srt 8 charger just hit 65,000 miles bro and i got it at 59,000 miles its a 2014 it basically like a scat i think
Nice …. How are they treating you so far??
@@SlipStreamTV i love it bro always get compliments from newer bodys
That’s tougghhhhhhhhh 🔥
What oil & filter do you use?
Synthetic oil but as far as everything goes I get it from the dealer lol so I’m not sure myself bro sorry
I use Pennzoil Platinum in my 5.7 in my truck. I figured I would use the same in my 6.4 392. I bring oul to dealer and just 35 for labor.
6:27 Checks for any cops 😂😂😂
Mandatory 😂😂😂
@@SlipStreamTV They be checking for Dodge's too hard 😂😂😂
Bouta pick up a 2022 scat 13k miles for 48k, is that good??
That’s a decent deal…. Make sure it was well maintained
You can purchase a paint pen at the dealership and fix the chips yourself
Really?? Yea I’m definitely looking into that thanks!
@@SlipStreamTV it’s so easy it looks like new however if the dealership don’t sell the chip pen you can buy it online with the matching paint
Thanks!
Looks supeer condition
Thanks bro!
Have you gotten the notorious hemi tick?
No not yet lol
@@SlipStreamTV okay good lol I got 50k miles on mine. With a bunch of exhaust issues
That’s not good…. Stock exhaust?
@@SlipStreamTV yeah the active exhaust valve, I just have mid muffler delete which actually sounds more aggressive 👌🏽
