I wish there was applause at the end of this talk. Thank you, Ryan, for helping me better understand one of my best friends, a wonderful woman whose life has been deeply impacted by her adoption and her intense need for a sense of belonging.
I'm very happy for you that your parents were honest about adopting you. I feel this talk should be listened to by anyone considering adoption - birth parents and potential adoptive parents alike.

Omg Ryan that was so good. Its Tiger by the way and I loved everything you said also as an adopted son. Knowing the truth about your my birth parents is very important to me. I don’t know anything about them but what I do know is that they probably did it for a good reason. I loved your speech and man I hope I see you again some time soon.

I’m adopted, but feel that I do not belong as my adoptive mother always says that I’m another version of my biological mother and that she’ll change my surname to the surname my biological mother has. I feel like my adoptive parents don’t love me and wish they never adopted me
