Habs please draft this guy, a good heart and when it matters he steps up his game, he shown what he was capable of in the iihf, if it wasnt him and his little plays canada would have lost
If he's actually picked in the top 10, then he's not a steal. If he's picked in the around 12 to 16 where he's projected to go then there's definitely chance. For potential/expectations, I always try to keep it on the lower side unless I'm totally sold. But if a team gets a player à la Carter Verhaeghe at let's day 14 or so, that's approaching "steal" territory. But don't read too much into this, I'm trying different "intriguing" and "impactful" titles and thumbnails to work on my click through rate. Kinda like a click bait but actually delivering on the content, at least I hope 😅
@@bluechipprospect thanks for the reply. I’m a big fan of his. I believe 2nd line is probably the floor/base case for Tij. I won’t be shocked at all if he is a first line player. Watching him play, he looks like someone who will be better with NHL players. I think his IQ is very high.
What are your thoughts on julius miettinen? I think hes a good player but he seems underrated by a lot of lists and I think he should be like a 2nd rounder
I like him. I talked about him in my podcast like 2 weeks ago. I identified him as a target for the habs with their late 1st or 2nd round pick. Preferably with their 2nd round. I don't think he has any particular attributes that stands out but the overall package of size, skating and skills make him a good bet imo.
Love him ! I talked about him a little bit in my podcast. I think he has 1st round talent but obviously the profile represents a significant risk so he won't be taken there.
Yes. A 6 isn't negative in any way though. It's the NHL average. But after watching a ton of him I didn't see him do more than what I expect from an NHL top 6 player. I think a lot of it comes from the name and people expecting him to be that kind of player but he isn't in my opinion. But I wouldn't argue if you thought he was a 6.5 or 7.
I saw someone posted your podcast on Reddit in the Habs' sub a couple days ago. I remembered the logo but I had to search deep in my memory to find where I had seen that logo before 😆 Didn't know you had a podcast even though it's in your name ... When I have some time, I'll listen to your last one. Cheers, hope you enjoy the vid !
Your website is clean af. Great job!
Thanks !
We need a Carter Yakemchuk scouting report. I like your work.
Not sure exactly when I'll have it out but there's one in the work
Merci mon ami@@bluechipprospect
I dunno I feel like he should only go as high as whatever pick the Flames end up with haha

Great video, as always! Thank you for all the effort you put in these videos, we all deeply appreciate it
So, if he’s picked in the top 10 or so, how would he be a draft day steal if the upside is 2nd line?

To me, his Compete Level
is 2nd only to Yegor Surin in the draft.
I would grade him a 9 in that area.
Nice! He kinda has a power game like his dad hopefully he only gets stronger
He will be a good to great player but I feel a lot of people are giving him too much free points for his last name.

what do you think about justin poirier ?

14:25
Levshunov, Helenius, Silayev
all potential busts.
Iginla is miles ahead of these guys imo.
Compete 6/10 ?
I feel like it might me low for him

Sounds like another Jake Debrusk profile
Not a bad comp. I think Iginla is a better playmaker and make better reads at the same age but it's been a while so I could be wrong here.

@@bluechipprospect Merci Étienne! J'ignorais qu'il y avait eu un post au sujet du podcast! C'est encore très niché, on va le dire de même 😅
Est ce que ton podcast focus sur le canadien ou plus NHL en général?
