I use a 32inch 1080p LG monitor which I got recently at a refurbished one on Amazon sale for under 10k. And truth be told that has been a great decision for me. And I use my old 22in one mounted vertically alongside it. And the help it has generated on day to day tasks and multitasking has been a blessing in disguise. I mainly design some stuff and build websites on it. And for those tasks, the extra area provides a seemlesss experience in switching between multiple tabs. I am that guy who has minimum 100-150tabs opened in the background all the time because of my FOMO. Ek aur baat in order to get a better visibility, I don't keep my keyboard and mouse on the table which I used to do earlier. But have brought some plywoods and some slides and fixed it just under my tabletop which hides the peripherals when not in use and also gives a additional 1ft gap between me and the display while working. I have thoroughly enjoyed watching content on it; I have completely ditched watching anything on my main TV in the hall which because of COVID everyone is at home and I usually never get to watch my preference. Earlier I have to wait for everyone to sleep just to I can enjoy watching movies on the large screen. Also, I in my opinion MacOS is far superior in the multitasking stuff enjoying full screen apps in the whole glory; also switching between two windows is always a breeze. Also Funfact : the recent Mac Pro's displays were also 32inch. And generally Apple is spot on in guiding the industry to a user intuitive interfaces. So, IMHO 32in will be the next standard. And were slightly seeing this trend sinking in the mainstream market with people with resources opting for a widescreen 32in in there setups. Even MKBHD has been rocking dual 32in Asus 4k monitors for over 5-6 years now; when the cost of each displays were over 2000$. Price has also came down in recent times that the sweet spot of 32in 2k monitors go over 16-18k (Acer's WQHD panel comes to my mind). So, my Hubble two cents would be ki, if possible please 🙏 do jump over 27in and experience the glory in 32in. Also, if someone wondering pixel density of a 1080p on a 32in would be an issue; I should tell you it not visible 95% of the time.

@@Tales_Unveiled. Well if your PC can’t handle 60 FPS, then you won’t magically get 60 FPS. But, if you are limited by software, right click on desktop and open nvidia control panel, select display resolution, select refresh rate and then select 60 Hz. Also don’t forget to subscribe to the IBG and turn on the bell notification.

@@madhur_aggarwal65 not really it would actually be sharper than 2k 32 inch monitor but you might have to tweak the settings to use it efficiency but the only problem will be is you will get 15-25ms response time since it's an tv not a monitor
For single player gaming...TV is the best option (watch TV, play Games, stream multiple apps) whereas for multiplayer gaming monitor with high refresh rate is better. I have 4k VU premium TV and it is good for gaming.

the problem you are facing with scaling, you should change the scale from default (100%) to 250% by keeping native 2K or 4k resolution.. I believe now you can enjoy the conventional computing experience..✨

I got a 24inch TV gifted in 2014 and it was unusable because who uses 24in tv anyways (Dapic LED2403FHD). So i started using it as a monitor and to my amaze it turned out to be 1080p and 60hz. I use to get the banner everytime i start pc and the picture density was very great by the way. At last i shifted from TV to monitor again in 2020. I would like to give you the cons of my observation: 1. nvidea has a different taste for monitors and TV. You'll get to see in nvidea settings of display link (very bad, but you can change the aspect ratio using remote and adjust it) 2. TV's have a very high contrast level than monitors and because TV's are supposed to see from far unlike monitors. 3. Power consuption of my 24in TV is 35W and my 21in LG monitor is 17w (my house is electricity phobic) 4. TV heats more than Monitors. My right side of the TV is like hot rod after 2hrs even though my pc runs 24x7. Even you have 60hz and 1080p TV with you, monitors are best and TV's are not that great, atleast for your eyes. If you switch from TV to monitor, you'll take time to adjust but eventually you'll do it for sure but if you switch from Monitors to TV you'll love the experience but for gaming you'll need monitors anyway.

Hi IG, I am using Samsung Q7FN 55" QLED TV as a monitor for Xbox One X and my PC from last two years. My TV deducts PC and game sole and enable the settings suitable for the source I connect. Never felt any issue, I use wireless keyboard and mouse and sits 5-6 feet away from the TV. My RX580 (8GB) GPU can play games on 45-50FPS@4K (2160p) and 70-80FPS@2k(1440p). I don't feel much lag while I am on PC games, but I do feel lag with XboxOneX (may be it play games at 30FPS, I guess) . I play game like Forza Horizon 4 at both Xbox and PC at 4K, but I feel at PC it run more responsive, even more when I play them at 2K at frame rate goes higher.

I got a 24inch TV gifted in 2014 and it was unusable because who uses 24in tv anyways (Dapic LED2403FHD). So i started using it as a monitor and to my amaze it turned out to be 1080p and 60hz. I use to get the banner everytime i start pc and the picture density was very great by the way. At last i shifted from TV to monitor again in 2020. I would like to give you the cons of my observation:
1. nvidea has a different taste for monitors and TV. You'll get to see in nvidea settings of display link (very bad, but you can change the aspect ratio using remote and adjust it)
2. TV's have a very high contrast level than monitors and because TV's are supposed to see from far unlike monitors.
3. Power consuption of my 24in TV is 35W and my 21in LG monitor is 17w (my house is electricity phobic)
4. TV heats more than Monitors. My right side of the TV is like hot rod after 2hrs even though my pc runs 24x7.
Even you have 60hz and 1080p TV with you, monitors are best and TV's are not that great, atleast for your eyes. If you switch from TV to monitor, you'll take time to adjust but eventually you'll do it for sure but if you switch from Monitors to TV you'll love the experience but for gaming you'll need monitors anyway.

Hi IG, I am using Samsung Q7FN 55" QLED TV as a monitor for Xbox One X and my PC from last two years. My TV deducts PC and game sole and enable the settings suitable for the source I connect. Never felt any issue, I use wireless keyboard and mouse and sits 5-6 feet away from the TV. My RX580 (8GB) GPU can play games on 45-50FPS@4K (2160p) and 70-80FPS@2k(1440p). I don't feel much lag while I am on PC games, but I do feel lag with XboxOneX (may be it play games at 30FPS, I guess) . I play game like Forza Horizon 4 at both Xbox and PC at 4K, but I feel at PC it run more responsive, even more when I play them at 2K at frame rate goes higher.

Fellow blue jacket fans, I'm in a state of confusion here. Finally after years I have saved money to build a PC of a budget being around 60k, with ryzen 5 3600. Before the Nvidia unveil, was thinking of getting 1650 super, as I'm just a noob gamer. But now I'm confused as everyone's saying it's bad idea to buy older gpus. But there's no news of newer budget gpus also, so no idea how long it will take for them to finally enter the market. At the same time, itni saal ki pratiksha karke abhi aur wait karna mushkil ho raha hai.
To bhailog, please tell if I should wait further, or should I just go with the 1650 super?
