Whomp ‛Em is a somewhat lesser known action-packed platforming game.
Although it may not seem like it, this game is somewhat similar to Mega Man in idea. There are multiple stages you can visit in any order and you gain new abilities from winning each level. Like Mega Man games, the new abilities include platform generating items which the author uses to create many shortcuts.
This movie has a full Atlas Map encode ( • Whomp 'Em (Any% TAS) 💥... ), which shows the standard encode overlaid on a zoomed out map. - เกม

After all these years, I just realized the title is a really clever pun. "Whomp 'Em" sounds like "wampum", a traditional shell bead used in Native American jewelry. The main character is a Native American, so the localized name of the game is totally intentional - and brilliant.

Looking at the forest level it feels more like ducktales than anything to me
If you like platformers, you'll probably have a good time. Tight controls, weird levels, decent challenge, nice graphics.

I remember the game grumps video on this was pretty funny. I also find it funny that TH-cam thinks I'm watching this video the day before it's uploaded.
