The original Shovel Knight soundtrack was made in Famitracker, which allows you to make music for the NES. So the soundtrack was always possible within the NES constraints. The only thing is that Shovel Knight uses the VRC6 chip, to add three extra sound channels (JP Castlevania also uses this). This is why the soundtrack sounds so good in the rom hack. 👍

E um ótimo exemplo que jogos com aspecto 8 bits, mesmo na geração atual com gráficos realistas, ainda vão ser sempre bons nas mãos de quem sabe desenvolver, pois ainda existe muita gente q adora esse tipo de jogo (eu) e que bom que existem desenvolvedores (as) indie.

@@ZoeMuller80 Well much better than using an emulator is just buying a NES flash cart and playing it on actual NES console. Or FPGA hardware that can simulate the NES chipset.... then you won't have to worry about a program not handling your NES roms :D
