Ah so that's what you were picking up on Saturday then....was trying to clock the two boxes on the counter when you were in the shop on Saturday another superb video mate...
@bmanf @stefanits1234 @durgymp - I've had a think over the past few days about all of the criticism and feedback you guys have given us. I've decided to ask Land Warrior if we can borrow the gun again to re-do the shooting test on a mid-week episode. I need to try and trace a UK distributor for Madbull and G&G bb's. Thank you for your advice, I hope we can restore this beautiful piece of art-works glory! :-) - JAi
I used to use .25 blasters but then I tried the .25 devils which are the step up from them and they're even better, you really can see the difference in your shots and how well they feed when you use high quality rounds :)
On a friends RS SVD, he used .36g Madbull BB's. He could still over hop even with the slightest of adjustments but it shot absolutely perfect. 0.28g are still too light for his!
@bmanf Unfortunately, the .32g bb's and .43g bb's we had didn't feed in the gun. I could spend 2-3 minutes explaining all of this and we could start getting really technical in all of our video's... but this isn't what we do. There are other reviewers who do a much better job of doing that than us.
Blaster plastic BB is considered as a cheap discount bb, with severe visible surface imperfections, so I'd say it is far from "best". We use g&g bios (.25 and .28) instead to have the possible highest accuracy up to 150-200 ft (45-60 meters) in assault AEGs. Over 60 meters we use the yellow madbull .4s and its repacked versions (Guarder, BBone, etc). A good BB is always the key for accuracy, later you can finetune the hopup w/ changing the bucking... But a good BB first. G&G bio is the way to go
I'm soooooo happy you are reviewing real sword products love your reviews, but wouldnt it be more accurate for the tests if you just rest the guns on a sandbag instead of using the vice.especially for gbb guns.great job guys keep it up.
I own the rs but have handled both. The st is not bad, just doesn't compare though. As a sniper rifle the realsword is just outstanding, truly a tack driver.
yeah , im just sayin from my expeirence , if you want a cheap to mid priced svd that gives you good out of the box performences and is very well made for the price , the cyma is it
@stefanits1234 I totally agree with you. I myself have tried both blaster, G&G and Greendevil. I must say the Greendevil are the best by far. Use 0.28 for anything above 400 fps (400 fps with 0.20 that is).
i like the look of the wood and all but i would perfer the black plastic furniture instead because of the weight for 1 and also if it does get dinged its easier to repair over wood
Living in the US this is the airsoft strip tease of them all! Amazing gun is the SVD. i have a real Yugoslavia SKS and an SVD. still amazing guns. Do they have an airsoft SKS?
Real Sword is basically a front company for Norinco, China's small arms manufacturer. The reason this SVD is "like a real gun" is because it basically is, the same manufacturing techniques as the chinese licensed SVD RS weapon.
a 30M range test doesn't give this gun justice but I know that's all you have to shoot with the hop up on this gun is so amazing that the bb just falls at the end of its flight path no falling down in a arch but falling down strait at like 250 to 300 ft
JAi, i was wondering if you could do a review of an ares m4 or m16, that is, if you can get a hold of one. there are no real good reviews of the gun out there and i think that you could do a really great job :D
Jai, just to let you know, real sword is owned by the real steel firearms company that makes the standard issue battle rifle for the Chinese military, the type 97. Real sword has all the real trades of the guns they make because they have the liscensing and permissions by the chinese government, unlike most china made AEGs like the cheap JGs, AGMs, CYMAs, etc
@EpicAirsoftHD What kind of brand of heavy BB's did you try? I have heard several youtube reviewers that say "I had to use 0.25/0.28 because the heavier BB's did not feed properly". My recommendation is always to use greendevil, unfortunatly they have a maximum weight at 0.3 but madbulls 0.36, 0.40 and up work like a charm.
@EpicAirsoftHD Was it a particular problem with that gun? If not that seems like a pretty big design flaw as heavier bb's seem to be necessary with that rifle.
I really don't think the groupings were great I would of used heavier bbs but now I want one. Also can you mount a scope on it or do you need a rail adaptor like some ak' s ?
Anybody know of any AG's with extreme reliability, ergonomics, sustainability, and requires little to no maintenance? Weapon size, accuracy, range, power source, RoF, and price are of no concern. Though, I prefer a very low price and weapon profile.
1 Mag is enough?...whoops...I bought 6 and still get through those easily enough. although mine's doing 350 and I've not got round to using heavy ammo yet >.
I just don't understand why people would buy a realsword. I recently purchased a CYMA because I can make it as good or better than the rs for way less money. can someone explain why one would buy a rs?
You can put real AK parts on a RS with no issues. The CYMA won't, it's too fat. Different build qualities. There's nothing wrong with a CYMA, really. The RS is just made of nicer materials. They both perform the same, so it's just a matter of choice.
I must say it was disappointing, not in the gun, but you used .25s in it. Honestly.... 450 fps NEEDS .3 or higher if you want to see the kind of groupings it can get put a weight that makes sense!, would you put a .12 in a gun shooting 350+? The laws of physics don't allow a spherical projectile to fly straight even with hopup at that speed and weight. @EpicAirsoftHD This video needs to be redone you've left many of your subscribers with a false basis.
of course its not gonna be as high up as real sword quality, but s&t is actually made up of ares employees, so its as good as ares, which is still up there.... and come one, its A THIRD of real swords price!
no its not , you cant say a chinese copy is as good as a real sword , the two arent even in the same fuckin universe lte alone in the same class of weapon , if you want a really good cheap svd get the cyma one the quality on it is really good . BUT NOT REAL SWORD QUALITY!
Ah so that's what you were picking up on Saturday then....was trying to clock the two boxes on the counter when you were in the shop on Saturday another superb video mate...
LOL I could hear the excitement in your voice during the review. Great vid!

such a beautiful gun, real sword is a great company wish they made an rpk, and were a bit cheaper, nice review Jai
I was going to get this gun, and now that you reviewed it I'm going to get it.
That's the Type 56 we reviewed. You can find it on this channel. One of the best guns we've ever done!
Agree with RedOnyxProductions, would love to see you review the WE hi-power.
Well done, great review! Keep it up!
Real Sword is one of the best (if not the best) AEG makers in the world.. You pay alot, but you get sdo much quality with them.
I own the rs but have handled both. The st is not bad, just doesn't compare though. As a sniper rifle the realsword is just outstanding, truly a tack driver.

Oh yeah... I can still hear it to this day!
I have to admit I wouldn't use anything less that madbull .36's with this beauty
Can you do like a list, like in Top Gear, where you rank the most accurate weapon?
I would of liked to see you use a heavier bb like you did in the other videos. None the less great video.
@450 fps, using .25 could get unstable when it leaves the barrel and hits the air. use .30+ would tightens the group a little more.
i like the look of the wood and all but i would perfer the black plastic furniture instead because of the weight for 1 and also if it does get dinged its easier to repair over wood
Living in the US this is the airsoft strip tease of them all! Amazing gun is the SVD. i have a real Yugoslavia SKS and an SVD. still amazing guns. Do they have an airsoft SKS?
@lorddethklok Yes, you need the mount to fit on the side of the receiver. It looks more bad-ass that way anyways! :-)
Real Sword is basically a front company for Norinco, China's small arms manufacturer. The reason this SVD is "like a real gun" is because it basically is, the same manufacturing techniques as the chinese licensed SVD RS weapon.
that gun looks absolutely gorgous
@jrocks1957 We left that to tease you! ;-)
We'll get it up within the next few weeks for you all.
Jai will you possibly do a review of the A&K SVD springer? Just so ppl can compare. Cheers
u should do the king arms svd aeg
@durgymp Thanks I use g&g bio .25 and .28 they performs brilliantly for me. On my 470 fps KWA sr12 and my BAR-10 I use .4s.
a 30M range test doesn't give this gun justice but I know that's all you have to shoot with the hop up on this gun is so amazing that the bb just falls at the end of its flight path no falling down in a arch but falling down strait at like 250 to 300 ft

Just wondering if you have ever thought of doing a review on the WE Browning HiPower. Not alot of reviews on it.

Wow.. are blasters the best BB's you use? I think they are worthless in comparison to Green Devil BB's, you should try em.
could you present the Tanaka L96? i would like to know everything about it befour i buy it
@EpicAirsoftHD What kind of brand of heavy BB's did you try? I have heard several youtube reviewers that say "I had to use 0.25/0.28 because the heavier BB's did not feed properly". review the t4-18 !!
Hey, i think you should review this again with .30 or heavier :)
you gonna review that type 56-2 sitting there?! :D
@EpicAirsoftHD I dident mean in a way of gun itself more like how big difference ther is between a 90$ gun or a 550$ gun if its really worth it.
I really don't think the groupings were great I would of used heavier bbs but now I want one. Also can you mount a scope on it or do you need a rail adaptor like some ak' s ?
Jai quick question: ¿does LWA ship all over the EU or only the UK?
jai how can you be so happy at those time, and i told you about that tightbore :P
SVD + EdGi 6.00= BEAST
Next time when talking about the looks , stop drooling xD .
I was waiting for the first drop xD.
Where are you getting it for £550? The only ones I can find are £700-£800
can u fit scope mounts on this epic gun ?
what type of bayonet would fit that you think?
try maruzen .29 sniper ammo
what do you reckon the max effective range on this thing is?
I've been looking for this gun and I can't find It from any US distributors at all, hell ,I can't find this in stock ANYWHERE!! shame.
This is the gun I want the most and then after that a mp40
Darn it, waiting for the ruddy video to process properly still so I can watch in HD!
What gun would you suggest for $150
Why not try 0.43g BB or heavier
Could you do a thompson
I dont think people in RS hold the same opinion like u do.
whats the AK layin on the tabletop at the beginning?
How much joule have our dragunov My have 2.81 and 550 fps how can i make it down it is to much ? I am french bad english :/
Anybody know of any AG's with extreme reliability, ergonomics, sustainability, and requires little to no maintenance? Weapon size, accuracy, range, power source, RoF, and price are of no concern. Though, I prefer a very low price and weapon profile.
i think you need at leaset 0.28g bullets
can you use an AK47 mag on this??
is this eletric?
I love you Jai
Do I see a bayonet lug on that thing?
Ohgodohgodohgodohgodohgodohgodohgod, I'm creaming my pants in excitement just from looking at it.
@zaxz1337 Comparing those two is like comparing Ann Widdecombe to Zooey Deschanel! :-P
If we can get a hold of one, we could do it! :-)
1 Mag is enough?...whoops...I bought 6 and still get through those easily enough. although mine's doing 350 and I've not got round to using heavy ammo yet >.

@@EpicAirsoftHD ok thank you.
it goes for miles. yeah thats important if you cant hit anything

@Chemolovesairsoft lol just what I was thinking
@TheRealRyan1000 oh and def,
The comment was a light-hearted joke in its self! :-)
@timwood70 PLEASE tell me this is a joke.
But steel's heavier than feathers
ahh man this is 2-3 shot kill in COD so I think I will give it a miss :/

The s&t svd is almost as good and it's only 200 usd

@TheRealRyan1000 sorry to hear that your color blind :/ but yes it does

it was in call of duty: modern warfare. i wish a badass gun like that wasnt in such a shitty ass game
I bet u will be happy if people call you "Hong Kongers" British.
U are upset because people call you by your lineage.
