I really do miss the intro styles of MKX and MK11. I know a lot of people most likely skipped them, but they were great sources of comedy and Easter Eggs.
To each their own, but I prefer this style. 11 was out of hand and half the time was just an excuse for references and hardly felt like the sort of banter that'd take place between two people about to fight.

It's actually confusing me more than anything. I thought the whole point of the ending of 11 was that Liu Kang would set up one singular timeline that worked as well as it could be, but the dialogs make it sound like multiple timelines and knowledge of those timelines will be mixing together again.
I get the intro transitions are to mask the game loading in the background but alot of extra silence could be replaced with another line or two of dialogue
The long awkward pauses before they split up to fight makes it seem like there should a third voice line. It’s very weird just to have them standing and staring at each other for no reason.
Heck, they could literally stare each other for eternity because this is a loading screen and it may vary depending upon how your platform performs with mk1
I am liking the New God look with Liu Kang, I am curious on how the new story will turn out with him actually knowing everybody from before The New Era, which is an advantage that Raiden never had.

I think there is a chance that smoke might be Hanzo to some degree. Like they merge smoke and Hanzo as one person. In MK1’s background smokes whole family got murdered by the Lin Kuei. The grandmaster at the time took him in as one of his own, and raised him as smoke. Plus, it also shows the bond between him and Kuei Liang. that’s just my opinion. I definitely think we’re going to see Hanzo to some degree no matter what even if it’s a cameo
Let's not forget that in the other timelines,bi-han and kuai-liang weren't the only "hybrid" cryomancers,we also had frost,who wasn't really related with them. So it's totally possible that in this timeline kuai-liang is a cryomancer that has no relation to bi-han nor the lin-kuei (just like frost before actually meeting sub-zero and joining the lin-kuei)
There is one conversation missing, it’s between two Kitana and one of them is still under the lie that Shao Khan is her father while the one in this timeline refers to him as Shao

I just can't get over that there is no loading screen or rather they hide it within the dialogue. The transition is so smooth its almost flawless. We've really come a long way.
Peacemaker is the DC character. Don't expect A lists like Superman or Batman, WB/DC doesn't allow them to get brutalized. But Homelander and Omniman are enough to scratch that ich.
Two line intros instead of three, it will get hard to get used to. Specially those cool ones like with Joker and Johnny Cage or even Rambo, but oh well
