Where do you live? Is there snow there

I’m in Northern California near Sacramento. We do not get snow here except on very rare occasions. We get down to 30°f in the winter. Typically the temperature will come back up by around 8:00am. We do not get hard freezes here. I’m in zone 9b

I have a baby agave king Ferdinand. I found out the hard way that it has those little black needles on the end of its stems 😖
