Great video as always jenny and thank you for the opuntia love I would have took the unpriced cylindropuntia whipleii home with me for sure so jealous 🌵💚
Hi Jenny, great video as always. But I found the prices bigger than I expected. Just for your information. I found a website by the name Succulent Zone. It is located in Texas (or Chicago, I don't remember) but the shipping comes from China. My box was on the road 17 days, all plants were alive. One thing was taken by customs, it was a baby Haworthia, they probably were too tempted to have it to themselves. Overall, I got 6 VERY RARE plants for total $120. In the US prices it would be about 350 to 500 if you are lucky to find them at all. Now it's too cold but I will buy more from them in a spring time. Best wishes to you, your family, Cookie and plants.
When you said those Ariocarpus were from Arid Adaptations in Tucson I was surprised I hadn’t heard of them. Thought we had been to all the nursery’s in Tucson. Looks like they don’t have a retail shop. Buy online and pickup. You don’t see a lot of ariocarpus down here. I think most of the ones I’ve seen were at Plants of the Southwest. Arid Lands might have some, I’ll have to check. Last time I was there I wasn’t looking for ariocarpus and probably walked by some.
I would have grabbed the Boswelia Sacra. A tree/shrub, it would do well in your climate. It's the Arabian/Somali incense tree. There were some wonderful Opuntia and Cholla: thanks for showing them. I always enjoy these videos, but I do sit here repeatedly pleading "buy it!" at the screen. Boojum!
The 7 inch pot is masterpiece!!!!! Can you send to the master my idea to produce A SET of the same style pots? Like 1 big and 2 equally small? Because my collection lives indoors, I have to buy 2 or more of the same pottery to give my interior a cohesive look.
Great video as always Jenny! Thanks for stopping by to chat. 😁
Wow, those prices were pretty great for larger specimen plants! I really wish I was there 😬
