I do like the new buildings in the DLC, but really that's the only good thing about it. Even then, Paradox continues to design too many skyscrapers, which means you have to micromanage which buildings grow and make a bunch of buildings historical or it will look bad and cluttered. This wouldn't be so bad if you could one click everything in a district (without mods) to make them historical.
Another excellent video. I know this is just a training video but I think a couple of food trucks in that Beach area would have made some sense. They'd probably find quite a few customers down there.
A PC player telling us console players its worth it when its clearly broken for us... The stock exchange is not working properly.... Love your content but BRRUUHHHHHH!!!!!
When you say it's not working are you talking about how as soon as you put it in your city you start hemorrhaging money when you were in a surplus before just tried it in my city I was making 25k week and as soon as I put in the financial district I started losing 50k week it was insane whoop-dee-doo I can do little glitch and get millions of dollars but I can never get my city back in the green after I put the financial district is that what you're talkin about?
I’m probably getting Cities skyline for Christmas, but there are some types of bundles and stuff that I need to buy, and become a new player, what should or need to buy while the first time playing?
Hey man, how your tress look so good? I've tried to mingle with the visual mods, but my tress still look like some yellow-ish sparkles on a stick and kinda bulky, not like fluffy leaves...
@4:45 A bit of tongue in cheek here... But how is this not arguably the most realistic aspect of the game? And it's not *really* insider trading. This is EXACTLY what rich people (in the U.S. at least) do in real time each election cycle. Republicans and Democrats have well-publicized policies that foreshadow which industries and sectors will be successfull from each term to the next... How many venture capitalists, for example, made a killing in solar and natural gas during Barack Obama's eight years? And how many do you think pushed funds into military contractors when Trump was elected? Insider trading is when you buy or sell equities on private knowledge given to you by a company "insider" who has direct knowledge of pending company decisions. But what happened here (mechanically, in-game) is you made an adjustment to your fiscal spending policy in terms of how you allocated government funds. In real time, all of that is public knowledge from election campaigns through the actual implementation of policy.
Your point is fair. I still believe if a city official defunded a sector, bought shares in a company and then refunded the sector the next day it would be considered insider trading. What you are talking about is on a broader scale over a larger time span.
Hey CityZilla! Im playing the game now a while and i dont know how to use policies for one town. Even if i click on the marked town it uses the policies for every town / city

Great video! I love the new DLC buildings but I refuse to use any of the new stuff until it’s fixed for Xbox
Just curious... Whatisnt working on console?
I’m curious as well I’m on PlayStation and I was about to buy this… but can you explain what’s the issue on console?
21:38 oh man, that hill looks rough, I hate that vanilla does that kind of thing so often. It's stuff like that which makes me use mods.
It cringy for PC players

I would go for whatever interests you the most in terms of dlc. There is a lot out there and some of it you may find not as enjoyable.
City is looking so awesome so far 👏 😍
i just realized new pc with 5x more cores and modern i7 cpu + 16gb ram = working steam app = working games = cities skylines lets go
that is if i remember my password lol
🤣 I feel your pain. Passwords are tricky buggers

Tree anarchy allows you the increase tree level of details
Hi can you make a series where you copy a road layout based from Google maps, like copying Nashville TN into Vitied
Hi. Please tell me how did you get this realistic looking clear blue sea? What mod, what map is it? Thx
I use theme mixer 2 to change the color

@@CityZilla to be fair, though, I don’t think what you describe would ever actually happen in real life. 🤔🤔🤔
Thank you.
Do you get the money from the trades?
Yes you do
How does your game run so smooth in such dense areas? Is it just bc there’s no mods?
Yeah, mods really bog the game down a lot
You should do an international airport next using the airport dlc.
Insider trading, it's illegal...but never mind that - that made me laugh
🤣
Hey CityZilla!

Even if i click on the marked town it uses the policies for every town / city
You need to click on the district name to apply policies for that district only
@@CityZilla Damn thank you
I never knew about that cheat system insider trading. Its funny. I never lose on my investments prior you just go and wait until it goes up. lol
