  • Subscribe! Elena and I recently moved away from Boston to Salt Lake City. Mostly, we wanted to be closer to mountains, which is why we chose Salt Lake City. The proximity to the mountains here in the city is amazing, and from our house we can drive to go for a trail run in about 20 minutes, and in the winter we'll be able to get to ski in about 30 minutes. In this video I talk about some of the reasons for the move! Enjoy!

Was it difficult adjusting to the Altitude in regards to running? Going from Boston to SLC.

It was okay, took about 2 weeks to feel 80% adjusted, about a month to feel 100% adjusted. But it’s fun knowing that your body is changing! Only the first couple runs are truly hard

Dude. Have you experienced the brown haze inversion? Driving down the cottonwood canyon seeing that brown fog covering SLC makes me wheeze.

      Yup, it’s pretty gross

@@MacLeanWright maybe add that to a reason not to move to SLC. can you find the elevation line to live above it and what cities are outside it?

@@choski76if your dream is to move somewhere, why on earth would you add reasons “not to move there”
Just look at the positives. Also the inversion is not that bad.
