I put a thin layer of grease between the two halves to prevent corrosion in the future, do you think that’s alright or would I have been better keeping it complexly dry?
Grease can be used to prevent oxidization. I think your fine and probably is a good extra measure considering how many times I have pulled these apart only to find corrosion everywhere.
