I love how the episode made music Meister as the 'villain of the week' so to speak but his line "I believe in the good guys" was just a reminder of what an awesome character he is.
In Batman: the brave and the bold he was the villain (also a musical episode). Yet here he was a bit more extraordinary as a 5th dimensional being (like Batmite, or MXZSPTLK). The Glee reference was pretty meta (as it is with these guys, they break that 4th wall with manipulating the in universe reality) as one of my friends said (she is a huge fan of Glee). I told her he could be even more meta if he was played by Neil Patrick Harris, as he voice acted the Music Meister in The Brave and the Bold... so it could have had more layers.

Differences between Karamel and WestAllen are so clear. Karamel wanted to keep on kissing, WestAllen got to the point and did their job, no more, no less. Karamel always had their hands on each other, I.e. Mon-El on Karamel, for example , her waist, shoulder... WestAllen kept some distance. Barry even got up by himself. These might be indications in the actors and actresses lives. For example, Grant has a fiancée. I don't know about the others but WestAllen is a convincing TV show couple and that's it but Karamel has you feeling it out here too.
I think karamel are in a rocky place and West Allen are more stable. Remember iris found the solution and she cried out first and saved her dude first. But it's the flash not super girl episode, so Barry is the focusm
