Unless the band's line-up has changed, everyone in the band now has grown their hair out and thus look a lot more metal. The singer with the clean/high vocals is awesome!
Jean Claude Van Damme is totally a great screamer (sorry, his looks just remind me of JCVD, but jokes aside) it is so sad Jamie Hooper had to give his vocals a rest, because he is indeed fantastic!!
What a blast from the past. I was in an oldschool thrash band around this time (before the big revival) and I remember thinking these guys were hacks for having the screamo/metalcore vocals. In hindsight it was a gateway to older and different metal for a lot of the young scene kids.
Man you are right. At that time, no-one was trying to do clean vocals except the established bands (big 4, etc) and euro bands were getting shit on for giving up the growl (2000s Amorphis for example). Enter 3IoB. The old school vocals were the right thing at the right time to help these guys rise out of the crowd.
Stumbled across this the other day having not heard it in eight or nine years, while looking for something else. What glorious nonsense. :) How did I ever forget?

I became good friends with these guys for awhile, every time they came to my city the Original bass player (R.I.P.) would call me and we would go eat Mexican food and Tacos. After one concert some friends had a keg in one of the tour vans and we all got hammered and smoked some badass bud. Phil, the singer from All That Remains and his bass player joined us and we all got fucked up and had a great time. At the time I was 21, we had a blast.

his vocals remind me of some of judas priest's songs. especially painkiller.
Some of the highest notes remind me of King Diamond
There's definitely a lot of Halford and King Diamond influence in his vocals.
The way he sings the word "sinner" at 2:31 is clearly a nod to the Judas Priest song "Sinner" . ;)
