The great thing about this one is that everything worked so well. The location was prime for this story. The flashback sequence made complete sense. The science fiction angle was solid as I did not see it coming The three actors delivered exactly what was needed with a bravado that was great to see. For a second, I thought the fight would be determined with the white scarf. Greatly enjoyed this one as it flawlessly exectuted by all involved. Thanks for the hard work. Peace.

ALTER is indeed home to an eclectic collection of horror short films from around the world! Really enjoyed this one. Interesting and engaging plot. The actors did a great job as well! My interpretation of this film is that in today's world we are inundated with fake news and forwarded messages that we often believe to be true and our reasoning takes a backseat. So in the era of information explosion sometimes ignorance can be bliss.

The concept of what causes the outbreak, it reminds me of outlast 2 with the blinding light.. Not something new for me to have seen but a different take on zombie catalysts for sure. I more so enjoyed the fact it was a brilliantly produced film based in somewhere we never think about when it comes to the apocalypse.

The movie isn’t the worst King adaptation but they left out a lot of the explanations of the signal and some scenes that would have been great too. I understand they only have so much time and budget but they just needed better scene selection imo

Script, acting, direction - story, what a story ! And a twist in the tale that makes Shyamalan look like a mere contriver ! I cannot thank you guys enough. African film makers and African stories are going to dominate the entertainment world, and I for one will celebrate it. At last, we will get a new perspective, and something truly original ! Wow... everything was right with this one. I see people commenting on other Alter shorts, saying they should be full length movies, but this is the one!!! The plot, storyline, location, music and of course the cast. Watching with subtitles took nothing away from the thrill I felt watching. I would honestly love to see a full movie, or atleast give us a sequel. It's well deserved. Again... the actors were perfect. I didn't want this short to end. Great job by everyone involved. 👏
