In the DP they have sooo many formation changes, it's rediculous. The guy in the ball cap is Chen, He's one of three Main Vocalists in EXO....The guy in the Beanie with the blonde hair is Baekhyun, he is the 2nd Main Vocalist in EXO....The guy in the beanie with a Hoodie is Xiumin. He is probably EXO's 3rd or 4th best dancer, so he's almost in the Dance Line in EXO..But when you have Kai, Lay and Sehun...it's hard to break into the dance line.

I just love the way Chen dances, and you did a great job describing why that would be. At this point in EXO’s career, you would have expected top notch skills from Xiumin and Baekhyun, but Chen! CBX has a song Ka-ching and the choreo for the mv is like it was made for him. SO fun!
Yay! This is my second favorite dance practice, and it’s not too shabby for the vocal line of EXO. The song is usually on heavy repeat. My top 5 dance practices pretty much stay the same: Astro -Baby; Blooming Day; NCT U-Boss; Monsta X- Alligator; and VIXX-Shangri-la (the live version is amazing, also their dance contest mirrored version is very cool). I love watching choreographers/dancers react!

Except Kai and Lay, none of the EXO members had a clue how to dance when they entered the company but they worked hard to learn dancing and, most importantly, to synchronise to each other. Before Exo, most of the groups had very simple choreography, mostly based on their vocals on live performances, Shinee started with formation dance, but EXO were the bridge between second and third generation of kpop, with best vocals and hard choreography. To mention that they had a few choreographers who teached them , koreans and also americans, one of them is Tony Testa who worked with big names like Michael and Janet Jackson., so their style can't be easely reproduced, it's a perfect mix between inland and outland accents. Their choreographers are smart guys who rather were putting together arms and legs synchron movements, but less jumping , a smart trick to ease their vocal performance on live stages. It is known that the members trained on treadmill while singing and practiced breath techniques, to improve their vocal quality. Chen and Baekhyun were the last to join the company and were quickly announced as the future members, leaving them only a few months to practice, too short for trainees meant to debute in a 12 members group. The two of them were already good singers ( Chen with his own vocal technique learned from his singers parents and Baekhyun after vocal lessons with a rock singer and composer), so they had to change their singing style/technique completely 😉
The thing is CBX is vocalist but still can dance like this, EXO just flex, another level ♪(´ε｀ ) slow /fast songs no problem for EXO. Thanks for react to EXO. EXO deserves better

Please check it out when you have time. Baekhyun (the one who starts the song) is my ultimate bias. He is one of the main vocalists of EXO, yet his dance is amazing. Please check out his "Bambi" dance practice too. Although the song came out more than two years ago, we didn't get any live stage nor dance practice until earlier this year, after he came back from military.

Yeah, they aren't the dancing line. Xiumin used to be kind off in exo M dancing line but the other 2 are Chen and BaekHyun who are the the main vocalist of exo. Xiumin us excellent dancer and most fan associate him with the dance line ( kai, lay and Sehun) BaekHyun is known as "genius idol" and he can learn Choreographies the fastest just by watching them being executed. Chen used to be in the bottom 3 in dancing ( with Suho and Chanyeol) and many called them the weakest and worst dancer if exo. But all of them improved so do much.
Honesty I never saw Chen n Suho being weak in Dancing tho😅, Idk why people used to call them weakest dancer. About Chanyoel, his situation is understable, he is so tall and tall people have issue while dancing. Kai is exceptional here but sometimes Kai looks so small 😂

Dance practices for EXO are a must, but I like it that you first watch the MVs :P and let's just say that there aren't that many EXO and EXO members dance practices XD I was so confused when you said you meant the member with a hat and not the beanie and I was trying to figure out the differences between the beanies XiuBaek wear to understand which one you mean T_T (English is not my first language, so I REALLY thought hat and beanie were similar head pieces XD). Now why I didn't expect you to mention Chen? I personally know he's an amazing dancer, but I'm not a dancer myself so I don't see it the way you do and the guy himself is so strict on himself he'll avoid dancing for his solo stages at all cost because he doesn't feel confident about it. And yes, two of the members there are main vocals (I have stopped caring for those titles because the rest of the members are really good vocalists too) and that's Chen and Baekhyun Baekhyun is wearing the white Supreme shirt and appears first. He's known as "genius idol" and even though he's not in the dance line, he does have some solo dance parts in performances and does dance in his solo releases. Chen appears second and he's the one that sings the super long high note while standing off to the side, you should listen to them live, it's another experience. Xiumin appears last and he's considered the ACE in EXO because he's pretty much in every line there. Starting off he was more in the dance line, a bit later he had more rap and singing parts too.
Now I would to see you and your dancers just gush about dance choreographies in kpop 😩 been always on the look out for dancers reacting to kpop here bec there are just some artistry that others don't get to appreciate. Yep, these three have improved a lot from when they debuted. I don't think Chen or Beckhyun had any dancing experience before they were recruited. SM is known for their excellent voice and training departments. Also the quality of their video production. (They also have a pretty bad rap for overworking their artist) The actual "worse" dancer in EXO is Chanyeol. He jokingly said his nick name was 3 seconds as that was all the dance camera time he was ever given. He is the tallest, great rapper, singer, musician etc. SM also has a group called SuperM where they feature arguably most of the best male dancers in their agency. Beckhyun is in there mainly because of their vocals, but the rest of the group are Kai, Taemin/Shinee, NCT Mark and Taeyong, WVY Ten and Lucas. They are a joy to watch. Although, I will admit that EXO, NCT and Shinee are my favorite groups, you need to check out the dance practices of Seventeen. One of their members Woozi writes most if not all of their songs and produces their videos too. I forget for the moment the name of the member who does most if not all of their choreo. They are excellent.
