Always wanted to go to England with a Tesla (soon a proud owner of the Model X hopefully!). Thank you for making this video. One question tho: what were the pros and cons of this trip? 😄
Hi @emrehd9736, thank you for getting in touch and for the support. I have another road trip from Belfast Northern Ireland to the Netherlands on my channel and put quite some detail in there. Also have the return trip from England coming up in a few days and my wife also gives her opinion :-) ….. however the pro’s for long journeys are that you are forced to take breaks along the way and as a con…yes it will take you longer to get to your destination, but you have to ask yourself how often are you doing long trips on an annual basis ….maybe 1-2% of the cars life /driving time? On the pro side you also are “forced” to see places you typically would not even know about and that makes the journey interesting as you have to stop for charging. The car decides where to charge on the go based on changing conditions, so nothing to worry about. The UK charging network is getting better everyday and so we had no waiting time anywhere. EV’s are very quiet on the road so you can talk :-). You meet people at chargers from all over Europe doing the same thing and can share experiences with them. Enjoy the model X, I would like that as a next one or the cybertruck :-) Cheers HandyHQs
Absolutely amazed by your experience! Thanks for the tips and I will definitely check your first video. It definitely will be a special experience in my life and I’m looking forward to it! Keep up the good work and who knows maybe I’ll get to see you some day on a supercharger! Kind regards, Emre.😄
Would great is you subscribed for more content from HandyHQs
Fantastic car! Regardless of naysayers.
My wife will be giving a piece of her mind about the Tesla in Road trip 3 :-) ….stay tuned
You are forced to drink quite some coffee during a trip with an EV 😊
