  • This time at the Quick Speed Shop I'm prepping this FC-150 Jeep for a late model Wrangler YJ drivetrain swap. The first step is to pluck the OG F-head, T90A, and TC. At the end I discuss the project and what problems became immediately apparent after the parts were out. Check it out!
Please like, share, and subscribe. I put out new videos every Wednesday and Saturday.

I like the V8 idea. either way you'll come up with an awesome plan. If not put her back together and send her on the way. You do have plenty of projects.

Josh, I was told to put diesel fuel in that engine to store it. Maybe that was too long to leave it in there. Sorry.

No problem. I'm sure it kept the moisture out and now I know why the head looked newer and the transmission story as well.

Drop in the small block 350!! Melt those giant tires..🤣😂🤭

Oy, such a ting!! I guess the small block is the only way to go unless the original engine is wanted for a truer restore. The body looks to be a job in itself. Slap it back together and send it. Next!

Yeah, the cab is pretty rough in difficult to repair places.

QuickSpeedShop From what the previous owner already did, it shouldn’t be that bad to rebuild the stock engine. Did you figure out why the cooling and oil system seemed to be messed up?

@@kodak_jack The engine was full of 2 gallons of kerosene for some reason. Everything else looks good.

Yes, but it's not mine and the owner provided me with the Wrangler straight six for the swap.
