Nobody buys water in Vienna. The tap water is actually fresh mountain spring water in better quality than most water you can buy. 😀 Also, since you got off at Praterstern, there actually is a supermarket that's open on Sundays. Anyway, like your video. Hope you enjoyed Vienna. 😊

Haha 🤣 yeh I suppose that makes sense about the water 🤭💧I would usually take the cheaper option, so maybe the heat got to me. I bought that bottle of water in Praterstern area 👅 but I think it was from a petrol station shop ⛽️
Thanks! ,Really glad you liked it 🤩 I loved Vienna, great city!

@7:00 "nicht ganz dicht" is a colloquialism for 'nuts' in German. Literally the word "dicht" can mean 'dense', 'tight' or 'leak-proof'. Here it is used as a word play, advertising for building insulation (i.e.: Austrian buildings are not leak-proof, which makes Austrians 'nuts' for throwing away money for energy bills).

@@n1ckburt0n my friends say you can get the best ice cream either at tichy (Reumannplatz) or Tuchlauben(Karlsplatz) or Schwedenplatz

Who would've thought Vienna is that ugly outside of the first district, which is the only one I've been and wanted to see. Except for Schloss Schönbrunn.

Yeh I first visited Vienna in 2009 and stayed mainly in the central area & visited Schönbrunn too. My memories of the city were mainly lots of posh white buildings. I definitely saw some grittier and rougher sides to Vienna on this trip. 🚇🇦🇹

@n1ckburt0n By watching you're video you definitely did. I preferred the first district because I wanted to dream of the old k.u.k. monarchy. But those dreams were disturbed by the many and many parvenus there..

Its only the 10th district and transdanubia(the other side of the danube) 10th(favoriten) and 21th(floridsdorf) are by far the worst. This subway does travel through exactly this areas.

Vienna's other districts are certainly NOT as grand, however they are full of interesting life, markets and much more diverse...also not so touristy. I love the 10th district Favoriten despite the fact that it is mostly working class! It has the art deco Amalienbad on Reumanplatz and the amazing Victor Adler Market. You will get an incredible balkan vibe there...full of lile and spice! A true melting pot! One Love

Yeh some of the “not so grand” neighbourhoods are really interesting 😎 I was glad to see the different sides to Vienna when I followed each of the U-Bahn lines, definitely gives a deeper perspective on the city 🏙️
