I met Vic Tayback in 1984.....in Santa Barbara California Such a wonderful Spirit,my encounter with this Actor had me laughing all night long at the Bar and Grill...It broke my heart when he passed away....They just don't make Television and Movies likes we watched by in the 70's as 80's..... Alice was an amazing show,Every Actor and character is sorely missed 💔🙏🏿🕊️

You forgot Beth Howland who played Vera Gorman, Mel's scatterbrained waitress on the show for all 9 seasons of the show. She was always referred to Mel as a dingy broad and though she was neurotic and awkward, she did have a heart of gold. She died on December 31, 2015 from cancer at age 76.

Dave Madden was born in Sarnia, Ontario Canada and his best known role was Reuben Kincaid on The Partridge Family. You showed him in numerous clips from TPF but didn’t mention that series at all. He appeared in most if not all episodes of that show.

I must have missed the Phillip McKeon part earlier today, watching on my cell. I just watched it on my desktop and saw he was the second person you mentioned. Sorry about that! Beth Howland, "Vera," on "Alice," was another waitress, just like Polly Holliday, or "Flo." Remember? "Kiss my grits!" Beth Howland was born on May 28, 1939 and dies on December 31, 2015, of lung cancer. Thank you for all of your info-podcasts on older TV shows! I LOVE to watch these podcasts!!!

If they made a new alternative movie called Alice aka Melanie's Diner. I think a new kind of cast such as
Mandy Moore as Alice "Alicia" Hyatt
Megan Fox as Tamara Hyatt (Alice's Sister)
    Rhea Pearlman as Melanie Sharples
Kirsten Dunst or Blake Lively as Florence Castleberry
Natalie Portman as Vera Louise Gorman
    Eva Amurri as Jolene Hunnicutt
Lucy DeVito as Melissa Sharples (Melanie's Daughter)
including three gourmet chefs Rachael Ray, Sandra Lee, and Gail Simmons as themselves.
Special Cameo appearance by Paula Dean.

I am 59yrs old and use to watch "The Partridge Family" after school in the 1970s! I see you're are doing commercials now. And showing your face here was a good idea. Is your ultimate goal to be an Actor? Or Vocalist? You have the looks & youth for it. I wish Good Luck in whatever you do, "AL" from Miami, FL. :)
