⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ out of 5 for me. Will either be a Jonas or Tadej domination of everyone. Hate to think what it looks like if rumors of Jonas doing Giro are true.
1:10:20 I would say the hardest you have covered was 2022 with the Col du Granon stage (with before that the Galibier by the really long side) followed by Alpe d'Huez with Galibier and Croix de Fer before it.
It's a pretty interesting subject. We know for sure that fetuses start to develop their memory. It is called prenatal or fetal memory. It is important for their development and mostly helps them recognize their parents and and other familiar sounds. Whether or not people can actually vividly remember these memories, way later in life, is unclear. It is not that uncommon that people claim they have memories from the womb. Therefore, the idea can not just be discarded. But it is currently impossible to prove if said memory is actually from the womb, or just a different place/time or made up all together.
Stage 18: I've ridden up the Loze in the Haute Route via Courchevel at he end of the stage... Courchevel in itself is long and brutal, the last part from Courchevel to the top is insanely difficult. After the Glandon and the col de la Madeleine and a couple of weeks in the legs... This will decide the tour. Having done it all I have to say is good luck to those poor bastards who have to do it!!!!
22:50 "Pogacar, is he going to attack?" I'm going to call it here as a yes 😂 only reason he wouldn't attack then is if he's already attacked even earlier 😂 Pogi's said that Col de la Loze is his least favourite climb, maybe that's why it keeps getting included? 😬
No, Van der Poel has said he's considering doing mountainbike during the summer after classics and the Vuelta being his grand tour next year. It sounds a bit weird but the story is slightly different ;-)
On Stage 18 a good team could stick it to the Pog! But it has to be a good team that can wear out UAE. Long, steep climbs has been UAE's soft spot in the past. My fingers are crossed that this is not another walk over grand tour! I sure hope MvDP and WVA are in form for those puncheur stages!
I think it will all depend if pog has a decent advantage going into the stage. Don't think UAE will be able to pace and win him that stage, but if he has a lead then he could probably just sit in and follow the visma train. might not win but wont lose much time that way
Ineos should go all in for stages at this TDF with Pidcock as leader and send Rodriguez to the Giro Vuelta double. Rodriguez would lose a lot of time in the TT and would bleed time on every punchy stage due to his lack of explosiveness. Peak level Pidcock could do well on the punchy stages, get the likes of Tarling, Turner, Sheffield and Kwiato with him and it could be a break out race for Pidcock
Stage 10 comparable to 11 in 2024, hautecam similar to pla d’adet, plateau de beille is a bit harder than the stage 14 2025, 18 and 19 2025 seem somewhat similar to 19-20 to 2024 but climbs are ~7km harder. Ventoux , mountain time trial make a big difference backloaded, comparing that two the galibier stage 4 in 2024. less overall elevation backload but harder cuz back end is ridiculous. Bottomline is differences between dominant GC rider will be greater. Just making sure I heard you guys correctly.
I would really like see an attempt to come up with a route that is *actually a route*, without jumping between finish and start too much, but still make it stand up to modern standards in terms of profile.
If lidl-trek want to maximize wins, Pedersen has to work for Milan in sprint or sprintlike stages, in the stages where Milan "maybe has a chance to survive" the team should work for Mads. I think that both coud win more if they race together trying work for each other than race separate calendar (like in GW 24)
2022 Granon and Alpe d'Huez pairing was pretty hard but I think you're right and this is even harder than that. Great pod as always and I'm gonna have to listen to this 10 times before July because it's such a long time until then
My oldest memory where I m sure I got it by myself and not beeing told that : I just got 2 and I remember eating what i thought was smarties, but they were most probably some digestions pils my sister took while on her period😂😂😂. That my parents never knew about and I remember very well the bad taste and the colour of it. Scientists say you can actually have very old memories but it is veryyyy unsure if you are under 2. Most people remember things when they were 2,3,4.
For the Stage 13 TT - why bother with tt-extensions on a road bike, since in a time-trial it is allowed to use puppy-paws position, the aero difference between puppy paws and tt extensions is marginal and you are stuck with additional weight for the climb?
Presuming that it's a problem which needs addressing: Have they done anything about the increasing number of stages which aren't raced till the final few km?
Are you talking about mountain stages? Nothing the race organisers can do about that, it’s the riders/tactics. If you mean flat sprint stages, there’s hardly any of them compared to the past
@@HkFinn83 What I meant specifically was the (usually sprint) stages with no breakaway at all and the riders rolling along en masse till about 15 to 20k to go. There seem to have been more of these in recent GTs.
@@SeamalicousBang on. People thinking Jonas is washed after he spent a week with a tube in his lung at the key point in his tour prep and still took a stage off of probably the greatest rider of all time is insane. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ out of 5 for me. Will either be a Jonas or Tadej domination of everyone. Hate to think what it looks like if rumors of Jonas doing Giro are true.
Decent route. I like the peyragudes tt a lot and the la plagne/courchevel loze combo are cool. The pontarlier stage is a big let down though.
Too soft & too risky in week 1. They might loose some GC contenders in week 1.
Boring first 10 days.
Punchy stages might make for some good drama.
Nice to see the oft-ignored little town of Pau on the route this year!
I thought its same Pau that was last year and this year.
@@fangru7294 It is. OP made a sarcastic comment.

Lol collection of Tadej's worse stage defeats, I hope it motivates him even more.
TdF directors: "Devilish"
would have been hilarious if they had put Granon instead of La Plagne
I was thinking the exact same thing. It's basically all mountaintop finishes / parcours where he got beaten in the last couple years..
