It's worth noting that if you still can't unhide column A, it might be "frozen". Unfreeze panes and then try again.

Hi Melda. If the advice in my video isn't working the file could be protected and not allowing you to unhide the columns. I would contact the person who sent you the file to check if the file is protected. I hope this helps.

The only way I could unhide column A was by copying the whole sheet to a new sheet.

Hi there. You may need to press an Fn button on your keyboard in order to use your F5 key. If this doesn't work, from your Home tab please click 'Find & Select' and then select 'Go To' from there. I hope this helps :-)

It may be that the column width is very small. Maybe try going to the Home tab > Format > Column Width > and setting the width to a larger number. I hope this helps 😊

Hi Rhonda. It's all in the selecting and clicking. If you make your way to around 01:23 in the video and copy how I select the entire column and where my mouse is when I right click. This should then show you the Hide option on the shortcut menu.

Hi there. I wonder if the file is Protected. If you make your way to the Review tab and check the Protect group. If you can see 'Unprotect Sheet' this may be why you can't make any changes to it.
