For anyone wondering: the actual UCAT QR section is much easier than medify mocks, I averaged around 700 on medify QR mocks (not finishing most times) yet in the real thing I finished with at least a minute to spare and got 900🙏

I got 3030 band 2 I’ll sum up what my experience was
Overall I averaged 2600-2700 on medify mocks in the 8/9 I did
VR: medify passages probably longer on average but in my test there were a lot of passages with 5 paragraphs of 2 sentences each whereas medify is just 3-5 long paragraphs
DM I think actual test was slightly easier than medify, tbh idk how the puzzles were cause I skipped and guessed them
AR slightly easier imo, I normally got 600-650 but got 700 just depends on how easy your patterns are I guess
SJT felt longer than on mocks and slightly more time pressured but I don’t really know how well I did on that apart from the band

@@Ojisgaydo you think the medify mocks this year are way harder? Than the actual test especially the revised ones like 2024 revised. Lmk plz

@@J8lxi.8 yes in my opinion 100%, the highest I got on any of the first 9 mocks was like 2690, then I did the 2 oldest mocks (23 and 24 i think) and got 2780 and 3000, and then I got 3030 in the real thing so the revised mocks are definitely harder imo

In the first tax question, arent we supposed to add the $895 too, as he also qualifies for that tax bracket?

In the first tax question, why are we ignoring the 25% mentioned in the question?

I think ur getting confused with the example given in the question for understanding. Omar’s taxable income is $36250 so he will only need to pay 25% tax for every dollar he makes after that.

why do we not add 32 to the answer for the temperature question at the end?

because youre calculating the difference between the two temperatures
