Cherry Audio knows how to price a synth right in that sweet spot where they always end up getting my money, even though I have more synth VSTs than I know what to do with. I'm sure I'll be picking this one up eventually too.
Regarding the potential issue, I came across this once before. It's sometimes velocity data skewing things. If you set your controller to send max velocity you should get a consistent sequence.
These are really good. Feels like old school analog synths. So much better than the Arturia stuff to me. I have to try some of these out. What are your other favorite software synths, besides Cherry Audio? I've been getting into physical modeling synthesis lately... Like just making up acoustic instruments and throwing some saturation and ambience on them.
I think that the interface of Cherry Audio synthesizers is clearly clear and unified .The sound and production quality is high and the pricing sober .Even though I am not a professional I was impressed by Cherry Audio
I'm not mad that I don't love it - good for my wallet 😅 I don't know why, but the demos I've seen so far don't make it seem that interesting to me. Maybe because all I ever look for is DX Keys and Synth brass.
very good synth and 3 is looking very good.....automation is a bit goofy and they haven't clarified the process.....but that aside quite astounding sounds.
Are you still using the ndh-30? I’m thinking about buying them. I rather wanna buy the kh 120 studio monitors , just that the budget doesn’t buy it. For them I also would need to buy sound treatment and set them up properly with an additional mic from Neumann or SoundID. I also may need a subwoofer for the kh 120. Would you recommend to safe up for the studio monitors or buy the ndh-30? Are ndh-30 close to the kh 120 as reference? Can the ndh-30 be used as the only reference?
hi paul so here are my thoughts so i downloaded the demo but had issues audio drop out when running stand alone, sent cherry audio email about it , got worse when i increased the oversampling it not my pc as i have hundreds of plug in without issue plus i am running 20 core 40 threads CPU , did not run it in my DAW so to the plug in, i am not impressed, i don' t get it, it is different that is true the theory is good and unique, cherry audio make great plug in, i demo all the cherry audio products but i never purchase them because of the same reason don't like this plug in, i know you start with a initial sound and built on it , i don't work that way with modern plug ins, way back we had to build the sounds as pre-sets were limited , so now i go with the pre-sets to get a flavour of what the plug in can do, the pre sets sounds should be good and usable to demonstrate the plugin at it best ,if they want to demonstrate the plug in capabilities i went through the pre-sets and could not find any usable sounds for example dune 3 great pre-set all sounds usable, lush 101 same, my MPC key 61 great usable sounds, and may others like this, the only plug in that does not show its full potential on pre-sets is the korg wavestate native but that's a beast of a machine under the hood the Harmonia sounds for me are old school, week, no life, and no character for me, so no i will not be purchasing this
Cherry Audio are always inefficient with every release. The whole signal chain seems to be oversampled. It absolutely chews CPU. If I want to use more than 2x oversampling I have to overclock my machine. ROFL. no joke. But I have to do this for ALL of their plugins, and only theirs. smh. It is a shame really.
Suee thing, Dave. I believe that it was supposed to sound old school, not modern and powerful. Not liking it is fully valid. I'm a synthwave freak, so it's actually really nice for me!
@@FoliaSound Great! Polish VR products it is something we are looking forward ;) I've been working on my own VR game... but it significantly slowed down when I started to learn music production (actually the reason I started it was this my VR game) :D :D :D
Helloooo! What do you think about new Cherry Audio release? Innovative or not? Will you get it yourself? Let's discuss!
I wish I could be just half as productive as Cherry Audio is! These guys are incredible!
Half? I'm dreaming about a quarter ;) Cheers!
and incredibly generous as well.

been sitting on this one for a year but finally made the purchase today, which won't be regretted...
it never is with Cherry Audio.
A beautifully simple interface on this synth, which belies all of the underlying power.
GUI looks really nice....if the price is right I will definitely grab it...thanks for the quick review, cheers
Probably 49 USD. Cheers, Johnny!
Yes,,and again another great synth from Cherry Audio. I own all of them and soon the owner of this one!
Reminds me a lot to my kawai k5000s
Yes, I've managed to get RMI Synthesizer (think Jarre's Oxygen) tones out of it too.

Thanks, James!

Fair point :)
Same here.
Can you test Synthmaster 2? I think is another interesting synth to try it out with really good sound and features.

@@planetclay The new version is awesome, now is really powerful.
@@Santi-pm9hq i agree that it's definitely an amazing thing.

ah ok repetitive good, well you got your life spared

How do you like Meta Quest 2? Soon you should be able to upgrade it to Meta Quest 3 ;)
It's great, I use it for VR projects we're having right now!

Their vintage emulations are mm.. meh..., but this could be interesting
