    1. Thinking fat loss is all about exercise.
    2. Focusing on the least effective types of exercise(instead of cardio, do more weights)
    3. Thinking that you need to eat a million small meals a day to lose weight
    4. Not counting alcohol
    5. Emphasising more on the number of calories instead of the quality

    Thanks for this, April! I finished my petite pwr session in June and I needed to take a couple weeks off from lifting because I had a pulled muscle that was pretty bad. I still made progress during that time because I kept eating PFF every day. I felt like I broke free from the shackles of believing that missed workouts = going backwards lol. Anybody considering joining Petite PWR Premium, DO IT!! Worth every single penny.

    Cant wait to try it out after this pregnancy! I’ve struggled with my weight MY WHOLE life! As a teen it robbed me so much joy and I want to be a good example for my children! I want them to have a strong momma! ❤️

    Ya... the 'grazing' was big a few years ago and I no sooner got used to it only to find out everytime you eat ANYTHING, you spike insulin... leading to insulin resistance... leading to diabetes. I'm trying to break the habit now and do IF instead... which can reverse insulin resistance/ diabetes. Great video! First I've ever come across specific to petites, so that's awesome!

    So, how does a petite develop abs? I see so many videos on TH-cam about how pointless it Is to do ab workouts if you have belly fat, and well. That’s my case. But due to me being a petite I find lifting weights are more beneficial.. I guess what I’m trying to say/ask is, if Cardio Isn’t the best route to go (for a petite) when trying to loose weight, how will I loose that belly fat and put the abs on?
    I had a really hard time trying to word that my apologies If that’s a clutter of confusion.

      Cardio doesn’t create much fat loss, that comes from being in a calorie deficit consistently over time.

    My biggest problem is not eating enough, for years & years. I started tracking what I'm eating, it's about 800 cal/day. Now, I can't eat normal size meals, I can't eat 2k in a day unless it was just the most unhealthiest food. my digestion takes forever when I eat to "full"... I've been advised to eat every 2 hours to gain the feeling of "hunger" back, get my metabolism going, then I can combine my meals, so 1. it digests, 2. I'm hungry enough to eat something bigger. I'm weight training 6/days a week, I love it. I'm seeing a nutritionist at my gym, but next session, I def. want to hook up with you. I guess I'll call anyway

    If you want to last you have to lift.. but can this be done outside of the gym? At home with resistance bands and hand weights?

    I've been focusing on mainly resistance training for 8 months and I build muscle very easily. But I haven't lost that much fat so I still look a lot stalkier than I want. When I do cardio, I slim down so quick but I don't enjoy cardio. So I've tried to trust the process of resistance training and only do cardio 2-3 times a week and I've been so discouraged by the results. I've had 3 babies and I used to be overweight when I was a teenager I lost 90lbs in 2 years 10 years ago. I don't know how much that plays into it. But unless EVERYTHING I eat is 100% clean and I'm doing cardio, I don't slim down. I just get bulky. But I am 80% of the time eating clean. There's so much confusing information out there and it's overwhelming. I'm just leaving this comment for anyone else going through something similar to me. I've been looking for a comment like this to see if I'm the only one going through this or feeling this way. So in case that's my situation. I'll update this post if I figure out what to do or what works best for me lol. Hopefully this helps someone.

      Have you found anythign that works, I'm in a VERY VERY similar situation. I've had 2 babies though, but very similar :(((

    my legs are a little too big for my liking if i do leg work out by lifting weights and doing exercises like front squats will i be able to lose fat with a calorie maintenance? i want my thighs to look more "Tone" BTW im 4'11 and i weigh 133
