My mother was raised as a Jehovah's Witness. When she was young she ran through a glass door and severely cut her legs. She was rushed to the hospital and her parents were told that she needed a blood transfusion or she would die. My grandparents refused because of the belief and the Dr went to a judge who overruled them. She had the transfusion and happily alive to this day.

My boyfriend and I argue today. I told him giving blood is not eating and he said not its another form of eating.
I cried cause he said something to me that even if I need blood transfusion, he would never give that to me in the future.
I am thinking of breaking up with him.... This just hurt me so much and he even called me "girl, yah know" like he doesn't care about my emotions.
What happen of his kids need blood donation, he wouldnt allow it. It turns me off completely. It makes me think how selfish the church is. I dont think i can go on in this kind of relationship. Im not dating Jehovah's witness anymore.

    • @vandalayindustries8036
      @vandalayindustries8036 6 ปีที่แล้ว +11

That is ridiculous and yes you should break up with him. Since JW's are not allowed to date non JW's its already a bit strange, and you should take control of your life. But......he is also quite wrong. Here is why.
The circulatory and digestive system are two TOTALLY different systems. If you needed a blood transfusion due to trauma.....could you drink it? That would be foolish. When someone is in a coma do they put nutrient smoothies in their saline bag into their veins? Nope they would die. They give them a feeding tube. Transfusing is NOT eating. Its doing exactly what blood was intended to do.....nourish the organs and transport nutrients and oxygen through the circulatory system.
The bible has a prohibition on eating a dead animals blood. But this happened a few times in the bible when life was at stake, and nothing happened to the offender. So clearly it isn't something God wants people to DIE over.
JW's have elevated the symbol of life, above life itself.

In 2010 my best friend gave birth to her daughter. The c-section didn't go as planned and she lost a lot of blood. She told them no blood. Eventually her disfellowshipped mother said screw that and signed for the blood. But it was too late. She was brain dead. Doctors and nurses were all trying to understand why she didn't accept blood. I tried to explain but finally realized I didn't really understand myself. I started asking the brothers questions and their responses were vague and showed they didn't really understand either. I started doing research on the JW organization and that's when I got angry. I couldn't understand why my parents didn't do their research before dedicating our lives to those lies. I eventually went to law school. And I continued my research on the JWs. Including court cases against them going back to the early 1900s. Man did the truth come out in court! Rutherford is someone EVERYONE current and ex JW should research. He was a lawyer too. And that's when it clicked for me. You see in law school you have the law but you have all these other books to help you understand the law. Kinda like JWs have all those books to help understand the Bible. There also was a lot of controversy with this man.

Kamia Smith I have a very close friend that is JW. I met her 4 years ago. She has lost two nieces to child birth, and very close to loosing her daughter because they wouldn't take blood. She always says no mixing of the blood. So I ask if you could of gave your daughter blood to keep her from dying would you. Your her mother. She looked at me like I was nuts and said No. I was raised a Baptist, we went to church as kids with our granny, I remember the day I got saved. I was in the 6th grade and we were at a revival. She has tried so many times to get me to study with her. I have learned so much about the JW from watching ex-jw on you tube. Blows me away the things they believe and have twisted around to fit there needs. I try not to judge, I figure to each as own. Oh, she aloud her daughter to receive plaletts when she was bleeding out. This was crammed down her throat since age 8. I SIMPLY DON'T GET IT!

Most medical pros know WHAT JWs believe, and try to work around it. Knowing WHY doesn't matter to them generally as it doesn't affect their duty to their patient. It's totally reasonable to see a mother put her child's life in danger.....and wonder why she would so such a thing.

When I was 7 years old I was in the hospital, bleeding out from a tonsil removal surgery. I needed an emergency blood transfusion, I was raised as a JW with my mom. My parents were divorced and my dad was not in the religion. My mom told the doctors I will not be having a blood transfusion and my dad fought and told them I WILL be having it. It if wasn't for my dad I would be dead. God had other plans for me and it was not my time to go. When I was old enough to make my own decisions I left the religion and for 15 years wasn't a part of any religion...a little over a year ago God called me back to him and I'm now a born again Christian doing whatever I can to get as close to Jesus as possible. He lived me enough to save me and I will be forever grateful. Now trying to figure out why and what my purpose is. I'm sure I'll find out soon. Happy to be out of that religion.

    • @hankdixon2960
      @hankdixon2960 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

I'd like to respond to your comment about your willingness to die for your beliefs. Probably one of the most controversial subjects that comes up with conversations with Jehovah's Witnesses is this one.
If you look back through history, millions upon millions of people have died because of theirs and also their parents beliefs. During pagan worship, children were sacrificed to god's by being tossed into fires, or having there hearts ripped out of their chests, or other such horrendous rituals. As time went on during the dark ages, "Christians were burned at the stake for promoting Bible reading. During the world wars, parents eagerly sent their children off to war to fight for their cause. This was true of all of the nation's involved although all thought or believed their cause was right. Today terrorism is rampant throughout the earth with factions using children as soldiers or suicide bombers.
Untold millions of people having been dying because of their beliefs, religious or otherwise. But there is one fact that escapes your notice.... None of them have been killed by Jehovah's Witnesses. They never have gotten involved in any of the wars that have been fought during their inception in the late 1800s.
Once in a while a Witness does die as a result of their stand on the blood issue, or sometimes as a result of their refusal to support dictators like Hitler, they are executed (6000 died in Nazi concentration camps) along with over 6,000,000 Jews. Compare that figure with the number that died during the first and second world wars.
Here are a few facts that you may not know about blood transfusion
Right now the military is considering training it's surgeons on how to perform bloodless surgery. Why, because the recovery rate for post operative patients is much faster since the body does not have to fight off the effects of the foreign substance in the bloodstream.
Through out the world doctors are discovering that the instance of post operative infection has decreased significantly after having performed bloodless surgery.
The cost to the patient is significantly less using bloodless surgery.
Without being able to rely on an outside blood source, Doctors have had to "up their game" with respects to being careful about blood loss, and as a result have developed new procedures to be able to either salvage the blood that a patient has lost during surgery or take pre surgery steps to boost the patients red cell blood count. All this is a result of Jehovah's Witness refusal to take blood. This has also resulted in a benefit to all surgical patients who have an objection to receiving blood regardless of their religious stand.
Despite it's best efforts, it's not possible for medical personal to screen for all of the blood born illnesses that are prevelant today.
One of the comments I've read regarding the Bible study prohibition on the taking of blood, is that taking blood introveneously is not the same as "eating" blood. But, if a doctor told you not to drink alcohol any more due to it's effect on a diseased liver, would taking it thru a needle directly into you bloodstream make it less toxic?
Jehovah's Witnesses stand on blood refusal is based on it's faith that if God warns them about a particular action it's only because of his concern for our well-being. Learning about his personality and his principles and guidelines should convince us of that. But, that can only be experienced by education and application of those principles and guidelines in our daily lives.

I try to look at the blood issue in a very logical way. According to the bible, there are two approved uses of blood - on the altar and in the veins. The altar use is explicitly stated in the bible. The use in the veins is not explicitly stated but is implicit by the fact that the bible says God created all animals and man, which would logically mean that he created the vascular systems in man and many animals with blood flowing in them.
Thus, if the bible is to be believed, the use of blood in the veins is not only permitted but ordained by God by virtue of the fact that he created it for this very purpose. That being the case, there is no violation of the sanctity of blood by using it in the veins because such use is the very reason for which blood was created. Thus the prohibition on eating blood logically cannot apply to the use of blood in the veins.
Since the use of blood in the veins is permissible, accepting a blood transfusion would not be wrong because you're really putting blood in the veins where it naturally belongs to perform the very function for which God supposedly created it. If accepting a blood transfusion is wrong then so is the use of native blood in the veins, because the blood is being used for the same purpose in both cases with the only difference being the source of the blood.
But when it comes to the prohibition on eating blood, the source does not matter. Scripture prohibits eating "any kind of blood". Thus the real issue is the particular *use* to which the blood is being put and not it's source. It is the use of blood *as food* that is prohibited because such use equates life with food, but the bible says life is worth more than food at Matthew 6:25b. When you use blood as food you cheapen it so that it no longer has the "buying power" on the altar to buy back the life of the sinner, because to the blood eater, it is now no longer worth the value of life, but the value of mere food. So the one who eats blood undermines the means for his own redemption making forgiveness of his sins virtually impossible. This, I believe is the point being alluded to at Leviticus 17:11,12.
Jehovah's Witnesses miss this point completely and have a false notion of why eating blood is wrong. They wrongly - and foolishly - claim that God is opposed to the use of blood to sustain your life. Nothing could be further from the truth, for God created blood for the very purpose of sustaining life and everyone is sustaining their life this very moment by using the blood flowing in their veins. The true reason for the prohibition on eating blood is that eating blood devalues it to the level of mere food making it unfit to repurchase the life of the sinner on the altar. The prohibition on eating blood was all about protecting the integrity of the sacrificial system by protecting the high value of blood. Using blood in the veins the way God intended does not devalue blood in any way.

Caribbean Man Blood in the veins is designed to sustain the one using it, and not other people. That's why rejection is possible. The Bible says life is in the blood, and that life belongs to God. Therefore, we aren't allowed to co-opt it for our own purposes. Your life is worth more than food quote means that spiritual things are more important than material things, not that blood shouldn't be equated to food.

Jennifer Schade I'm not arguing with you, I just asked you a simple question from the bible.
So why would you have to pray for me to have an open mind? I'm not the one dodging the question and getting defensive, you are..
I asked you a perfectly legitimate quesiton about God's word the bible and you insulted me. If you feel that what you're saying is true as it pertains to the blood issue, you really wouldn't get this defensive and run away. You'd stand in your truth..

I was studying with the JW`s many years ago
and they were explaining the Holy Spirit as an electrical force
They told me to keep praying and asking the Holy Spirit
(the electrical Force) to show me the way
I did this and kept waiting to see what would happen
Next thing I know I am covered by the blood of Jesus
I am Born Again, I am wrapped in the love of God
I never knew such love and still am awe struck by the
love God poured out on me
An still to this day my God pours His love on me

OMG YES!!!! I almost made this video for others to see when I left the JW's 5 years ago. I was in Paramedic school learning about blood and how much of a difference it makes when saving a life. I felt guilty for agreeing with science as a normal born and raised JW would. So I went to my congregation and did all my research during the meeting and approached my elder that I respected so much(NOT AFTER THAT). I had questions. Lots of them!!! I said "brother Young, how is it that I can't except whole blood willingly to save my life without getting disfellowshipped, but others can get the fractions(50/50 coolaid)"? And they can leave it up to their conscious!? Without any disciplinary actions? That's not fair and has caused THOUSANDS/Millions of deaths for a mistake of biblical interpritations. Long story short...............I was marked as an apostate for even questioning such a thing. Lost my family, parents got divorced(Dad agreed with me). Mom is still brain washed. I can honestly say I am thankful God gave me the strength and knowledge to figure this out before I saw your video. I feel like you and I think a lot alike brother. Stay strong and never doubt that you "left the truth"! Jesus would never do that to the ones he loves. As a FF/Paramedic now married with kids I can say that family is more important to me than the "social club/Colt" of the JW.org. I feel sad for those who don't leave because they have too much to loose my mom being one of them. The elders hang my brother who passed away in front of her like bait to keep her "strong in the faith" promising a resurrection. I look forward to subscribing to your channel and speaking to you.

Acts 15:20 only adds more reason as to why jehovah states we should stay away from blood, the text doesnt say "stay away from blood until you feel the need to utilize it" or "stay away from blood unless under certain circumstances of life and death" it's very clear "stay away (abstain) from blood" so regardless of its purpose and intention, you should abstain from blood period. it doesn't have to be in mass quantities or in small doses, abstain means-stay away- not only under "special circumstances"

    • @vandalayindustries8036
      @vandalayindustries8036 7 ปีที่แล้ว

But Daniel with respect, abstain does not mean that. A hemophiliac JW may accept a fraction of blood derived from 1500 peoples donated blood. Albumin is a blood protein used to treat burns, and one treatment uses 45 liters of blood to make. Is that really "abstaining" from blood? Acts of course referred to eating blood since it was a restatement of the mosaic law "burden" that they were asking the Gentiles to be aware of since there were so many Jewish converts. This was on account of their conscience. Even then......would it really apply? Think of it this way. the sacred nature of blood as a symbol of life, was not ingested after a life was taken. A blood donation is made from a willing donor....that is STILL ALIVE. So how could that even compare?

    • @DG-io9vt
      @DG-io9vt 7 ปีที่แล้ว

Vandalay Industries abstain means to stay away , restrain oneself , including enjoying something of that sort, so even if there are possible cures and "supposed" benefits/good causes to blood, according to medical and scientific data, the scripture was clear, "abstain" from blood, because even jehovah knew that no matter what the intention or "conscious like matter" it's not for us to mess with. Jehovah didn't say "abstain from blood -in a conscious matter because there are good uses to it and might possibly be beneficial to humans through later discoveries" however each person has to make that decision , jehovah doesn't misconstrue his words, he was clear, "abstain".

    • @vandalayindustries8036
      @vandalayindustries8036 7 ปีที่แล้ว

Daniel Garcia thanks for the response. So the greek word rendered abstain has no qualifier. But clearly this isnt some universal abstention. Otherwise JWs couldn't have dental surgery, eat rare steak, submit their own blood for testing, or accept fractions. Of course some fractions make up more blood volume than something forbidden. White blood cells vs Albumin comes to mind. Albumin is used to treat, birns, and one treatment could come from the donated blood of 45 people. But your religion allows that, saying they are still abstaining from blood. So can we agree that the decree to abstain, has certain lets say common sense qualifiers based on biblical context? Want to make sure we are on the same page before proceeding.

    • @DG-io9vt
      @DG-io9vt 7 ปีที่แล้ว

Vandalay Industries your welcome, I'm glad we are able to reason and talk:) Jehovah forbids incest , does that mean it's ok for some to practice the act simply because forbid has qualifiers and can be stretched out (as a word) so that it only applies to certain people-making it acceptable to some only because "forbid" has so many definitions and synonyms? Or does forbid mean "refuse to allow"? Shouldn't Jehovah have put in the Bible that blood is acceptable in certain circumstances? And that forbidding incest is acceptable to "some" people because they think it's harmless and appropriate? Jehovah didn't. He put clear words, so that we would have a firm grasp as to the meaning of things, no means no, like wise yes means yes. He didn't put "maybe" or "perhaps" he is very clear on what is acceptable and what is not. if you decide to get a job and work for a huge company are you responsible for the leaders bad decision making if they decide to lie, steal, and cheat? Would you be an accomplice? If a witness buys clothes from a goodwill -who donates their money to a bad corporation on skinning animals alive, would Jehovah penalize that brother -simply because of what others decide to do with their own money? if you decide to cook food that had blood, does jehovah expect you to drain every single ounce of it because one drop is enough to be singled out and punishable by death because you broke his law of abstaining from blood? Jehovah knows it's impossible to do such a thing, and he doesn't expect you to do so down to the last drop, he expects you to follow the principle, abstain from from blood which through discernment means as long as you did your best to keep your body free of blood , he will decide how you will be held accountable. You're relationship depends with you and Jehovah alone, what others chose to do has nothing to do with you and him. Jehovahs not stupid, he knows the figurative heart , we have limits , he has a perfect sense of what is right or wrong , so he's the decision maker not others.

    • @vandalayindustries8036
      @vandalayindustries8036 7 ปีที่แล้ว

Daniel Garcia with respect.....Jehovah allowed incest in scripture. But that is probably another topic. We are in agreement in part of it. I'm trying to establish that there is a certain amount of reasonableness when considering the verb translated abstain, that WE build into our understanding. So on that we agree. Where we diverge, is that i believe that extending "abstain" to mean a transfusion from a willing and still alive donor.....maybe even yourself, is not biblical when considering context. Your body is not free of blood. You are full of the stuff. You sometimes accidentally eat it. You accept fractions made from thousands of other peoples donated blood. You accept organ transplants that have some whole blood in them. If you want a strict rendering of the word abstain, then none of these should be allowed. But they are. Its almost completely random what the branch allows vs decides to forbid under threat of disfellowshipping. I would really like to move onto context and scripture. But first we need to agree that "abstain" has to be qualified through other things in order to see what was meant. Thks is a very important doctrine. (abstain was also used in only 1 of the 2 statements in acts......not in the other. I think an honest reading of scripture is clear what they were talking about.) No judgement here, bit would you consider a,JW taking an Albumin treatment for a burn, made from 45 different peoples donated blood, to be "abstaining" from blood? I really have a,hard time getting people to answer that.

I agree with Ray Franz in his book. I also see it this way: The apostles were not making rules on top of what jesus taught. Jesus said: go make disciples...teaching them to observe all the things I and only I have commanded, nothing less, nothing more. In Acts 15, the brothers arranged for the apostles and others to deal with an issue after much disputing over it. That's likely why James said he made a DECISION. My point is, It's wrong to make doctrine out of particular verses of events in the bible after Jesus died, because 1 Jesus didn't make it clear that we should. 2 Those guys were not perfect but they are an example of putting into practice not developing real christianity.

Ronnie Woods Bellmont Sound's yes they apply the whole bible but just like the 2 witness rule to child abuse, in the book of Deuteronomy it clearly states a scenario of a woman being raped in a field and being all alone and no one there to protect her and that man must die but yet the governing body doesn't take that into consideration. And besides the Mosaic law was done away with once Jesus came. They have all these beliefs of not celebrating things due to pagan roots. But paul clearly states in 1 TImothy 2:9 not braiding one's hair wearing gold and pearls but yet that is ok? So many things flip flops that is why they are realizing after all of these years to stay silent when the scriptures are silent. Some of the bible is literal and some is figurative. And they try to interrupt things sometimes with good intentions but hurt so many lives through out the process.

If anyone still has a problem with the consumption of blood then please read this. I know it's a bit long, but I think it covers everything you need to know about how food restrictions have been altered as mankind has gone from one covenant to the next.
In Genesis 1 Adam and Eve were given the narrowest of food restrictions. They were told that "every seed-bearing plant that is upon all the earth, and every tree that has seed-bearing fruit; they shall be yours for food”. For them, eating meat was not an option at all.
Then, in the Noahic covenant, that restriction was relaxed somewhat so that they were allowed to eat meat, as long as they did not eat blood.
Then the Mosaic covenant came, and with it even more restrictions.
That brings us up to the time of the Gospel. Before that time all food restrictions were regulated by the written laws of the covenant that one was under. However, that is not the way it works in the New Covenant. What we are allowed to eat, or not allowed to eat are no longer regulated by a written code of law, but rather are regulated through the believer's conscience. This is why Paul writes:
"One person’s faith allows them to eat anything, but another, whose faith is weak, eats only vegetables. The one who eats everything must not treat with contempt the one who does not, and the one who does not eat everything must not judge the one who does, for God has accepted them." (Romans 14:2-3)
To the Corinthians he tells them they can eat anything, even food sacrificed to idols, as long as it does no harm to their neighbor:
“I have the right to do anything,” you say-but not everything is beneficial. “I have the right to do anything”-but not everything is constructive. No one should seek their own good, but the good of others.
Eat anything sold in the meat market without raising questions of conscience, for, “The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it.”
If an unbeliever invites you to a meal and you want to go, eat whatever is put before you without raising questions of conscience. But if someone says to you, “This has been offered in sacrifice,” then do not eat it, both for the sake of the one who told you and for the sake of conscience. I am referring to the other person’s conscience, not yours. For why is my freedom being judged by another’s conscience? (1 Cor 10:23-29)
Finally, quicly reading through Acts 15 can easily give us the impression that the rules layed out by the church leaders is something that all Christians need to follow. After all, even the Holy Spirit approved of them. However, the book of Acts is an historical account describing a transitional period - a transition that would take years to establish. This should never be ignored. The church was not fully developed at that time, and neither was its doctrine.
It was a period of turmoil and some things had to be done out of necessity. Take for example the fact that Paul had timothy circumcised "because of the Jews that lived in the area". Do you doubt for a minute that the Holy Spirit also approved of this? And do we therefore teach that all Christians be circumcised? No, we can see that Paul did this for tactical reasons, and we can also see by doctrine that Paul wrote later on that we are no longer required to be circumcised.
You have exactly the same thing going on in Acts 15. Paul had to struggle against religious beliefs and traditions that were already deeply rooted in the minds of the people to which he was ministering. He had to "become like a Jew in order to win the Jews". With that in mind, read the motivation for making this list of rules:
"For the law of Moses has been preached in every city from the earliest times and is read in the synagogues on every Sabbath."
These rules were tailor-made for them, not for us. And it certainly had absolutly nothing to do with blood transfusions. It has to do with struggling against religious customs and traditions based on the law of Moses and people who conscions were weak being still caught up in a legalistic mindset. Notice here how Paul was very sensitive about putting stumbling blocks in front of such people:
"Some people are still so accustomed to idols that when they eat sacrificial food they think of it as having been sacrificed to a god, and since their conscience is weak, it is defiled. But food does not bring us near to God; we are no worse if we do not eat, and no better if we do.
Now you might argue that food sacrificed to idols is not the same as eating food with blood in it, but that isn't the point. The point is that these rules were simply made to solve a problem - the problem that Moses had been taught in that area and it would have been difficult to just enter the synagogues and tell them that the Mosiac law was suddenly obsolete. All that would have done is cause an unnecessary riot.

There is a huge difference in the translation of the NWT at Acts15:29. It says at the end "Good health to you!" whereas other bibles say "Farewell". Notice also the use of the exclamation mark that is not in the Koine Greek at all. This difference made a huge impact on me when I turned down blood and nearly lost my life, because I was thinking I was getting good health advice going by that particular scripture. I was more scared of getting a disease than I was of dying, yet sometimes you have to weigh up the odds. My whole decision hung on that scripture alone and not any of the Old Testament ones. A good video and Franz made some valid points.

Ill say this, (bear with me, its a liitle long)
Whether you know it or not, Witnesses believe ALL other religions, especially Christendom, will all be destroyed at the Tribulation....except for JWs of course.
Once the Tribulation begins there is little to no hope to find "truth", the true way to jesus, and youll most likely be killed at Armageddon no matter how hard you tried to find God and Jesus and live up to his word and preach.
Those religions will be destroyed because of false doctrine and dealing with politics, thus why they teach Jesus said to "get out of her my people so you do not share in her sins". (Side point) Yet funny He calls these people who are "worldly", "my people", to "get out of her"...why would Jesus call worldy people "mine"? And why would he say only to "get out of her", these religions?...and not, Get out of her my people and find my real people in my real religion...?...if there really was just one that he cared for alone in that future time?
Anyway, Jws believe they are the true religion that Jesus chose in 1919, being apart of JWs will most likely save you and youll be judged favorably by jesus, but not being apart of JWs means youll most likely be judged unfavorably by Jesus and you will be killed....only dont you see, Watchtower is thus taking judment away from the ultimate king, Jesus. If not being a Jws when the end comes means ultimate death, it would thus put the value of living life and ransom of sin on a singular religion, and not faith, love, and works in the blood of Christ.
If all other religions will be destroyed because of false doctrine, harm to people, and political ramblings...what about when Watchtower is also guilty of false doctrine? Harm to people? And possible political skirmishes? Why does one get a pass but all the others don't?
Does the God you read in the bible and the Messiah that walked the earth really sound like ones who will destroy everyone forever on earth who did there best to preach, who read their bibles, who went to Church and tried their very best to do good....but...whups, thats nice, but you guys didnt join my Jws hommies....so you go bye bye now forever!? Do you really think he doesn't appreciate all efforts of those who love in Christs name?
And if Jws really have gotten doctrine wrong, promoting false doctrine, gotten involved with political things, harmed people (which they have)...how could God use that religion in the new world as the foundation to a new earthly society without changing it and wiping it clean...yet if God was really with them from the start, there would be no need to clean up their teachings after Armageddon, God would have already done that for his "true religion" before hand.
Ive said a lot, and you need to do your own research, but its a very human thing to make the proclomation that "we and only we are the chosen people and everyone else is not." Ask Jws what Jesus did beyond a doubt to prove to the world in 1919 that he chose JWs as the only source to him? Are Jws really the only religion that teaches the things they claim to only teach? Are their questionable doctrines like 1914, 1919, 1st generation, 2 generations, blood, shunning, really infallible without argument? In fact when, and with what context did Jesus say, speaking in future-tents, that he was only going to exept one religion alone in the future and if your not apart of that religion, ill kill you?
      I leave it to you

If you look at the CONTEXT of the New Testament verse on blood, you'll see that it in no way could possibly be a burdensome "law", in fact it was the opposite. If you begin reading at Acts 15, you'll see that the apostles were addressing the problem of Jewish Christians insisting that Gentile Christians be circumcised, which placed a heavy burden on them. Just preceding the verse (Acts 15:20) where it states to abstain from blood), James is speaking and he says "it is my judgement therefore that we should not make it difficult for the Gentiles who are turning to God, but INSTEAD we should tell them...to abstain from blood ". So this NT commandment could not be a difficult or burdensome thing. Loosing the mother of your children, growing up without a mom, dying....this is burdensome and exactly the opposite of what the apostles were trying to do.

Some years after Jesus’ death, the apostles and the elders in the Christian congregation in Jerusalem met to decide what parts of the Law given to the Israelites still applied to Christians. (Read Acts 15:28, 29; 21:25.) Jehovah helped them to understand that blood was still precious to him and that they still needed to view it as holy. The early Christians could not eat or drink blood or eat meat that had not been bled properly. If they did so, it was just as bad as worshipping idols or being sexually immoral.

A blood transfusion is not "eating" blood. The GB tried for many years to say it was the same as eating blood. Ultimately, they were forced to change the reason to "sustaining life" instead of "eating" blood. It is similar to the organ transplant dilemma in which they originally equated transplants to cannibalism, but later realized it wasn't the same as eating at all and consequently reversed the dictate. The GB has painted themselves into a corner with the blood doctrine. They can't afford to outright nullify it after so many have lost their lives in mistakenly adhering to the blood policy. Hence, the latest incarnation of allowing virtually all blood if broken down into fractions and making it a conscience matter. Currently, it is a convoluted doctrine that makes no sense at all, but apparently it's the best they can do short of outright abandonment. To do so {abandonment} would make the 1975 fiasco, in which they lost about 30% of membership, seem mild by comparison. Also, no telling how many lawsuits abandonment would spawn. The WT finds themselves in a catch 22 with the blood doctrine and simply hopes no one in the cult notices. They are in the same predicament with the 607 belief and extreme shunning policy. The GB is no different than the Pope who claims to be the vicar of Christ. They say they are God's spokespersons on earth. Both claims are rooted in total delusion.

There are numerous scriptures regarding the "EATING" blood. Most would say that this does not apply to Blood Transfusion, however, I believe all are aware that if an individual isn't able to eat food due to conscientiousness, perhaps problems swallowing or perhaps appetite problems where nourishment is then given thru the veins. I believe most of you are already of the various scriptures given regarding this issues. Deuter12:16, Deuter12:23, Levit19:26, Gen9:4, I believe we could go on an on. Each one has to do what his or her conscience will allow THEM TO LIVE WITH. At the end of the day it is YOUR LIFE and the choice the Almighty God Jehovah, YHWH is extended to each one. There are principals found in the SCRIPTURES and each one is given the option to abide/live his or her life the way THEY see fit. It was extended to the pre-flood people and it is extended to all of US AS WELL. Certainly I see some discrepancies within the organization big time, however, there are some principals that certainly have relevance/truth. I will say, however, that a number of the discrepancies/lies/things "actions of various governing body members" in the past has been most outrageous. There is certainly nothing that goes on the Almighty God Jehovah does not see or is not aware of. The scriptures make it most plain Jeremiah 16:17 English Standard Version Anglicised17" For my eyes are on all their ways. They are not hidden from me, nor is their iniquity concealed from my eyes." From just this scripture alone shows why all has come out regarding Watch Tower. We all know Jehovah is not a respecter of persons. From a scriptural stand point we KNOW SO many of the things taught by 'CHRISTENDOM" to be most false (not found in the scriptures period). So, here we all are (2018) well the last I remember "Mark13:32 English Standard Version Anglicised 32 “But concerning that day or that hour, no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father." This scripture alone should have stopped the 1975 running ahead comments of the Society, regardless of what the Society stated. The Almighty does not studded. While I may have issue with the Society, my faith in the Bible being HIS/ALMIGHTY GOD'S WORD for me, goes without saying unequivocally!!!!!!!

Rea TurRee but you are not allowed to use your conscience regarding blood. Whole blood is almost never transfused. Someone is making decisions on what you are or are not allowed to accept....for you. I would also like to correct your misunderstanding regarding "feeding" in your veins. If someone is in a comma, they are administered a feeding tube. You can only accept certain nutrients, salts, and medicine through your circulatory system. You cannot "eat" through your veins. You will absolutely starve to death. So once again.....blood in the ciculatory system is exactly it's purpose.

I argue with my wife about this who has been a j.w. all her life ,the research I did into people having blood transfusions showed me that very few people actually have them as an emergency life preserver and that the majority of the time it's used if you have a low blood count but not necessarily life threatening or people that are anemic or some people have them to rejuvenate themselves ,if I didn't need one I wouldn't have one because of what you can catch from them but only if it was life or death would I agree to it and my opinion is nothing to do with religion

Gary I think most of us wouldn't use this as primary care, but there are several cases where blood is absolutely life saving. If you have uncontrollable bleeding, you need packed red cells for amongst other things clotting factor. There are diseases you can develope that shut your bone marrows natural production of blood down, and you would require blood. Different cancers and cancer treatments. I could go on and on.
As far as thinking you will "catch something" from blood, your chances are greater of dying by taking aspirin than because of a blood transfusion. That statement needs new evaluation by you. Modern screening is a very thin net.

Please note the Bible DOES NOT condemn eating blood, except in the presence of a believer who might have a weak conscience. So please note and add to your discussion. 1 Cor 10:27:
"If one of the unbelievers invites you to dinner and you are disposed to go, eat whatever is set before you without raising any question on the ground of conscience."
For some reason, this scripture is not part of the discussion. What this scripture says is to EAT WITHOUT QUESTION. That seems to contradict "abstain from blood" but for the caveat: "eating with an unbeliever." So a Christian is under no dietary restriction at all. The command to abstain from blood was made as a rule to be observed in the congregation in front of brothers and believers. But when you are on your own at the meat market or at the home of an unbeliever, you can eat what you want without question! Health providers should know about this contradiction!!
Ask any JW: (1 Cor. 10:23): "24 No one should seek his own good, but the good of others. 25 Eat ANYTHING sold in the meat market without raising questions of conscience."
Abstaining was clearly done for the sake of the weak conscience of those in the congregation! If you are alone at the meat market or at an unbeliever's home, you DON'T EVEN ASK!! Christians are NOT under any dietary restriction, including blood!
    Thanks!

  • @charliesmith3777
    @charliesmith3777 5 ปีที่แล้ว

Hi Kameron. Just an update. Does Christ return in the flesh?
IN WHAT MANNER DOES CHRIST RETURN?
Does Christ return invisibly? Or in the flesh? If you don't know, what have you been looking for or expecting all this time?
    1. The "7 times" prophecy asserts a period of 2520 years of the absence of an earthly representative of God's kingdom. That suggests Christ returns in the flesh, replacing an earthly representative of God's kingdom.
    2. 1 John 4:2 says "You gain knowledge of the inspired expression of God by this: Every inspired expression that confesses Jesus Christ as having come in the flesh originates with God." Jehovah's Witnesses claim Jesus returned in 1914 invisibly. That technically contradicts this passage and qualifies them as part of the "antichrist." Even so, this scripture, when applied to the second coming, would confirm Christ must return in the flesh.
    3. Genesis 49:10 says, "The scepter will not turn aside from Judah, neither the commander's staff from between his feet, UNTIL Shiloh comes; and to him the obedience of the peoples will belong." Clearly, Shiloh is another name for Jesus Christ at the second coming. But does this mean that when Christ returns the kingship will shift from Judah to another tribe? Genesis 49:25 says, "They will continue upon the head of Joseph, even upon the CROWN of the head of the one singled out from his brothers." Is this fulfilled by Christ coming through the line of Joseph at the second coming? If so, clearly Christ has to return in the flesh to be a descendant of Joseph.
    4. Matthew 26:29 says about the Lord's Supper: "But I tell you, I will by no means drink henceforth any of this product of the vine until that day when I drink it new with you in the kingdom of my Father." Spirits neither eat or drink. How will Christ drink wine at his second coming if he doesn't return in the flesh?
    5. There are two wave offerings of the firstfruits; a first and a second. Christ's physical body is represented by bread. Do these wave offerings reprepsent Christ's body at the first and second coming? The first wave offering celebrates the unfermented cakes, bread representing Christ's sinless (without leaven) physical body at the first coming. Leaven represents sin. The second wave offering is also of bread, two loaves; however, the bread is WITH LEAVEN. (Lev. 23:17) JWs claim this represents the Jews and the gentiles in the kingdom. But that doesn't include Christ. If the second wave offering includes Christ and his chosen followers who are sealed into the kingdom at the time of the second coming, then this means Christ would also be in a body of sin, an ordinary, imperfect body. So not only does he apparently return in the flesh through the tribe of Joseph, but via someone else's imperfect physical body as well.
    6. The first resurrection occurs by placing the mind and memory of the resurrected saint into someone else's imperfect body. 1 Corinthians 15 explains that the body is not brought back (15:37), simply the "bare grain" which is like a "seed," which is implanted into someone else's imperfect body. (Shocking! I know.) Verse 38 explains, "but God gives it a body just as it has pleased him, and to each of the seeds its own body." Each seed gets its own body. A body is chosen for each seed by God. These seeds are implanted into bodies of "corruption," "dishonor," and "weakness" (15:42-44), simply meaning imperfect, ordinary living bodies. The resurrected seeds share the body, identity and minds of those into whom they are implanted. The first resurrection occurs just prior to the second coming, after which Christ himself appears in a similar type body. 1 John 3:2 clearly explains, "... but as yet it has not been made manifest what we shall be. We do know that whenever he is made manifest we shall be LIKE HIM, because we shall see him just as he is." So those who are resurrected will be in a physical body similar to that of Jesus Christ. That is, if those resurrected are implanted into someone else's body, then Christ, likewise will be implanted into someone else's body at the second coming. Those who are in these bodies will see Jesus just as he is because they will both be in physical bodies.
    7. Revelation 20 describes Satan's last rebellion after the 1000 years, with many rebelling against Christ. Verse 9 says, "And they advanced over the breadth of the earth and encircled the camp of the holy ones and the beloved city. But fire came down out of heaven and devoured them." So this clearly suggests Jesus and his holy ones are on the earth! How can they encircle the camp of the holy ones if Christ and the holy ones are up in heaven? But if Christ has returned in the flesh to rule for 1000 years and is on the earth in his holy city, then this is describing the rebels literally encircling a physical place on the earth (Honolulu/"paradise", actually). This is consistent with Christ returning in the flesh.
    8. As we have learned, the first phase of the first resurrection is back into a physical body. Then AFTERWARDS all are changed "together" into spirit bodies. Paul explains this quite clearly at 1 Thessalonians 4:15-18: "For this is what we tell you by the Lord's word, that we the living who survive to the presence of the Lord shall in no way precede those who have fallen asleep in death; because the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a commanding call, with an archangel's voice and with God's trumpet, and those who are dead in union with Christ will RISE FIRST [ back into a physical body]. AFTERWARD we the living who are surviving will, TOGETHER with them, be caught away in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air..." 1 Corinthians 15:46 clearly notes, "Nevertheless, the first is, not that which is spiritual, but that which is physical, AFTERWARD that which is spiritual." The key point here is just when do all those in physical bodies get changed into spiritual bodies? We know the first resurrection occurs just prior to the second coming. When does the so-called "rapture" take place when everybody gets changed? Verse 54 tells us: "But when this which is corruptible puts on incorruption and this which is mortal puts on immortality, then the saying will take place that is written: 'Death is swallowed up forever.'" Just when is death swallowed up? How is death swallowed up? Revelation says that death is swallowed up in the lake of fire, after Judgment Day. (Rev. 20:14) Judgment Day happens after Satan's last rebellion, which happens after the 1000-year reign of Christ. So those resurrected back into physical bodies are in those physical bodies from just before the second coming all the way down to the end of Judgment Day. That means Christ, as well, must also be in a physical body all that time.
So Jehovah's Witnesses are teaching a falsehood when they claim that some are already in heaven. No one is in heaven right now and no one will be in heaven until after Judgment Day. Christ and his anointed holy ones are all right now in imperfect, fleshly physical bodies and will remain in such during the 1000-year reign of Christ and down to the end of Judgment Day. Time is running out. It's time to learn these details and get past false WTS doctrines.

@@vandalayindustries8036 Well, there is nothing in the Bible that can be disproved. In addition, Acts 13:41 says about our time:
"'Look, you scoffers, be astounded and perish; for I am doing a work in your days, a work that you will not believe, even if someone explains it to you in detail."
So even if I produced evidence the Exodus occurred or that Xerxes faked being his own son, its possible you still won't believe it. So apparently God intends to keep a lot of people in the dark until the last moment. Just as in the flood of Noah's day, likely an event you dismiss, the people who died in the flood knew at the last minute why they were dying. God didn't give them a flash-flood warning or some showers to get them to believe. He just killed them off immediately and they knew before they died that God exists.

I hope this explanation is of some help to you. The spurious passage at John 7:53-8:11. These 12 verses have obviously been added to the original text of John's gospel. They are not found in the Sinaitic Manuscript or the Vatican Manuscript No. 1209, though they do appear in the fifth - century Codex Bezae and later Greek manuscripts. They are omitted however, by most of the earlier versions. It is evident that they are not part of John's gospel. One group of Greek manuscripts places this passage at the end of John's gospel; another group puts it after Luke 21:38, Supporting the conclusion that it is a spurious and uninspired text.

Though I was raised one I'd left years ago because of distortions like this... she will loose her life, mostly because of the cancer that's metastasized but the transfusion might have given her a fighting chance.

Not sure that accepting parts of blood is changing things as it may not have been possible to separate blood for transfusions until that time. Once it was possible to do such things then it may then be acceptable to do. I'm a Jew and not a JW but I'm making this point as its easy to be critical when you don't have the full story.

What Does the Bible Say About Blood Transfusions?

    The Bible’s answer
The Bible commands that we not ingest blood. So we should not accept whole blood or its primary components in any form, whether offered as food or as a transfusion. Note the following scriptures:
Genesis 9:4. God allowed Noah and his family to add animal flesh to their diet after the Flood but commanded them not to eat the blood. God told Noah: “Only flesh with its soul-its blood-you must not eat.” This command applies to all mankind from that time on because all are descendants of Noah.
Leviticus 17:14. “You must not eat the blood of any sort of flesh, because the soul of every sort of flesh is its blood. Anyone eating it will be cut off.” God viewed the soul, or life, as being in the blood and belonging to him. Although this law was given only to the nation of Israel, it shows how seriously God viewed the law against eating blood.
Acts 15:20. “Abstain . . . from blood.” God gave Christians the same command that he had given to Noah. History shows that early Christians refused to consume whole blood or even to use it for medical reasons.
Why does God command us to abstain from blood?
There are sound medical reasons to avoid blood transfusions. More important, though, God commands that we abstain from blood because what it represents is sacred to him.-Leviticus 17:11; Colossians 1:20.

MJ nowhere are transfusions (or some sort of descriptions of "main components") forbidden in scripture. JW's allow their blood to be removed and tested, sucked up in a bag and re-transfused into their bodies (cell saver machine), eat rare meat and have dental surgery, and accept a mass of products made from donated human blood. There is no logical reason this could be called "abstaining" from blood The reference was clearly to eating, and even then, Jesus sanctified what was once unclean. Paul basically says just to be sensitive to Jewish converts weak consciences, but otherwise go ahead and eat. I'm not saying you have to take blood. But there are situations where it is the best medicine available for a particular time, and JW's die every year from its refusal. Have JW's elevated the symbol of life, above life itself? I think so.

Matthew 12: 3 - 5 " He answered, “Haven’t you read what David did when he and his companions were hungry? 4 He entered the house of God, and he and his companions ate the consecrated bread-which was not lawful for them to do, but only for the priests. 5 Or haven’t you read in the Law that the priests on Sabbath duty in the temple desecrate the Sabbath and yet are innocent? I tell you that something greater than the temple is here. 7 If you had known what these words mean, ‘I DESIRE MERCY, NOT SACRIFICE ,’ you would not have condemned the innocent.

    Raymond Franz
The March 15, 1980 issue of The Watchtower issued a statement of regret that its assertions of probability of Armageddon arriving before 1975 had "apparently overshadowed the cautionary ones and contributed to a buildup of expectation already initiated."[14] It told disappointed Jehovah's Witnesses, "including persons having to do with the publication of the information that contributed to the buildup of hopes centred on that date" to "concentrate on adjusting his viewpoint".[15] This statement, which placed blame for the disappointment about 1975 on Raymond Franz as the former chairman of the writing committee, precipitated a purge of that committee.[16] On May 8, 1980, Franz was told that he had been implicated as an apostate.
Here is the gentleman to be blamed for the 1975 Armageddon scare. Raymond Franz?

    • @caribbeanman3379
      @caribbeanman3379 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

No. Raymond Franz was actually one who was trying to tone down the 1975 rhetoric that the other Governing Body members was encouraging. Raymond Franz was definitely not expelled over the 1975 issue.

Here is some info, wether it means anything I don’t know.
The July 11, 1977 issue of Time magazine contained an interview with Frederick W. Franz (who had been Vice-President of the Watchtower Society during the build up of the excitement for 1975). It accurately explains how the disappointment was first explained:
By 1968, the sect’s magazine, Awake!, was proclaiming a new date for Armageddon: “Today we have the evidence required, all of it. And it is overwhelming! All the many, many parts of the great sign of the ‘last days’ are here, together with verifying Bible chronology.” That complex chronology ran like this: Adam was created in the autumn of 4026 B.C., which meant that 6,000 years of human existence would end in late 1975. The 6,000 years would be followed by the Millennium, 1,000 years of “Sabbathlike rest,” just as God rested after six days of Creation and established the Sabbath.
Asked about 1975, Franz now says that the 6,000-year chronology is correct, but the seventh day of Creation did not begin until Eve was created. Thus the date for the End has to be extended by the amount of time between the advent of Adam and of Eve-an interval not yet revealed (previous Witness publications had stated that Adam and Eve were created in the same year).

If you listen to Ray Franz interview, he admitted his faith in the doctrine of blood was shaken when his wife was ill
and doctors said she needs blood transfusion. As if Ray blink in the face of death. Fear overcome him.
Christ anointed brothers do not blink in the face of death. Death for them mean being reunited with Christ.
So if there are people on earth that are not afraid to die, they are the anointed. They do not wish to die but they are excited to be with Christ in the heaven. They are willing to die as martyr.
So why Ray Franz has different view about death?
The answer is simple, he is not a real anointed, an impostor.
When he was disfellowshipped, he became active promoter of blood transfusion.
What killed Ray Franz in 2010? Brain haemorrhage. Blood killed him.
You decide if Ray Franz is a martyr or a traitor?

    • @boldtruth5836
      @boldtruth5836 8 ปีที่แล้ว

It is true there was build up of expectation as 1975 getting near. But they are not considered prediction or prophesy. They were expectations, assumptions, possibilities, probabilities. No definite prediction.
JW are living everyday as if the day will end very soon. Jesus told his disciples to keep on the watch and to be spiritually awake all the time. We know the thief is coming in the night, so every single movement or signs we considered them seriously. Jesus also added, he that endures to the end will be saved. So you see why we must live as if the great tribulation will come very soon? We do not know when our own life ends.
Since we can not calculate when it ends, we can not also calculate when this wicked system will end.
So let us serve God whole souled every day of your life.

It is so curious that something that is clear since the very beginning of The Bible has causes so pain, suffering, sickness and death. In the Old Testament God shows the first example of using the flesh, bone, blood and DNA from a human for the life of other. God used a Adan's rib (organ) to create Eve. That is a clear example of organs transplant and by way blood and DNA sharing. Genesis 2:21-23. This a too a huge example of clonation and asexual reproduction. It is so that Luke the beloved doctor includes in his book of Acts that all mankind is made from a same bloodline. Act 17:26. In the New Testament the apostle Paul set the foundament for organ donation and transplant, in his case the eyes or part of the eyes. Galatians 4 :15. It is important to know and recognized that The Bible is a book beyond ages and times and includes themes that we do not imaging in its pages. Organ Donation, Transplant And By The Way Blood Sharing Is On Them. Peace be with you.

If GB sticks to the old testament how about this:
The gb has predicted the end of the world many times, and wrote a book in the thirties titled millions now living will never die. Etc etc.
    Deutoronomy 18:20-22 reads
That any prophet that predicts an event and that doesn't come true that prophet must die.
What you think about that eh eh eh.

    Kameron,
Thank you for the insights. A few questions below for thought. I'm wondering if the Witnesses ever gave you answers for these specific questions.
How is it that you trust that all 27 books of the NT are God's written word, AND that no books have been left out that are?
Were those who made these decisions infallible?
If yes, how is that possible?
(and of course when and where did they do so? )

Hi Kameron love your videos. Just stumbled on your channel and the content is amazing. The one thing that I always questioned and could not get past was that point that all children of parents who reject the message that we preached would have the death sentence when Armageddon arrived. So an infant that had no opportunity to take Jehovah’s side would be killed! That i just could never fathom and yet when we question this it would be frowned upon even though we tell all other christians in their faiths that they should keep asking and seeking like the bible says as long as it was not the JW organization that you questioned! LOL. What a cult!?

As someone who grew up as a JW with many hours under my belt going door to door and having many Bible studies. I know for a fact I didn't make a penny. Or anyone else. It's not something they are looking to do, if someone wants to make a donation, that's up to them.
They make their money with a small donation box at the back of each kingdom hall and most of their money at Assemblies 3 times a year. The money goes to the organization, no one directly benefits from it. This is solid information, even the top Governing Body members do not get paid. However, everyone does shower them with gifts.

This is how I look at the blood issue. Blood is like a pie. You pull the whole pie out of the oven, cool it down, and cuts pieces off for your family. Each slice is STILL PIE, just a smaller fraction (see where I'm going?) So blood fractions, while not in its entire form, IT IS STILL BLOOD. Logically, if Witnesses accept blood fractions, then they should accept whole blood. But it's never about logic.

Spoken like a real JW. Not sure if you are aware, but not all blood that is dontated gets used. It gets tested and any bad blood gets destroyed. And even if there are some with "lifestyles" that could hinder blood, it's not reason to eliminate the use of blood in its entirety.

This post is not to hard or to disrespect but I to inform.
There's a deeper reason why Jehovah wittiness dont want blood transfusion. Its not because the verses in Leviticus or in Acts. It Goes deeper.
Its safe to say there interpretation of the verses they use to say why they reject blood transfusion. Its wrong.
They use (Lev 17:10-16) first read 8&9.
    Lev 17:8-9
8 And thou shalt say unto them, Whatsoever man there be of the house of Israel, or of the strangers which sojourn among you, that offereth a burnt OFFERING of sacrifice, 9 And bringeth it not unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, to OFFER it unto the Lord; even that man shall be cut off from among his people.
    Lev 17:8-9
Its talking about OFFERING'S to God. Dont eat the blood of the OFFERING'S that are made to God.
In other words the verses God is saying dont follow pagan sacrifices traditions or practices. In pagan sacrifice OFFERING'S they drink blood in other words consumption. Blood transfusions is not eating the blood. So how is blood transfusions the same as sacrifice OFFERING'S? Its not.
Another verses the Jehovah wittiness use to reject blood transfusions is in (Acts 15:28-29). Again we see that its talking about meats offered to idols.
    Acts 15:28-29
28 For it seemed good to the Holy Ghost, and to us, to lay upon you no greater burden than these necessary things; 29 That ye abstain from MEATS OFFERED to idols, and from blood, and from things strangled, and from fornication: from which if ye keep yourselves, ye shall do well. Fare ye well.
    Acts 15:28-29
So unless the blood that the doctors use in blood transfusions was offered to idols or the meat that the blood came from was offered up to idols. The point of rejecting a blood transfusion on these verses is not biblical.
I could understand not wanting blood from someone who is a none believer or people who worships a false God and idols. The thing is if you feel that way then use a better part of Gods word. Like where it talks about not being unequally yoked with unbelievers.
I can also understand not eating red meat, following what the bible says what are clean food to eat.
Its proven that processed meats are not good for your body and do not harm then good.
I have another point as well. Why can't Jehovah witnesses just only receive blood transfusion from family members who are Jehovah witness as well, or only receive blood only from other Jehovah witnesses. Also remember when Jesus healed the man with the withered hand.
    Mark 3:3-4
3 And he saith unto the man which had the withered hand, Stand forth. 4 And he saith unto them, Is it lawful to do good on the sabbath days, or to do evil? to save life, or to kill? But they held their peace.
    Mark 3:3-4
Doctors work to save lives of people! Im not talking about spiritual saving only Jesus Christ did that.
God has given the Doctors gifts and the ability to help people, other ability's regardless if they believe in the same God or not as you do.
Please read:The Parable of the Good Samaritan in (Luke 10:25-37 K.J.V)
As a follow of Jesus Christ we are called to love other as Christ did and to love God with ALL our Heats.
Did Jesus, God heal people yes im not going to list them all.
When doctor's work to save a live are they acting in love to people?
Doctors take an oath to "Do no Harm". Doctors are not perfect they are not God so they do all they can but doctors do lose patients from time to time.
So can the Jesus teachings be applied to blood transfusions. Yes if some will die with out a blood transfusion. I ask you are we called to do GOOD or are we to do evil? In other words are we called to LOVE or not toe love others?
Here is another point if you knowingly know that you could and or can save someone from being killed or dieing not talking about being saved from a spiritual death only Jesus did that; you don't try to save them isn't that like murder or an accessory to that persons death?
One of the ten commandments is
    Ex 20:13
    13 Thou shalt not kill.
    Ex 20:13
God bless you all and I will pray for you all. For God to keep you all safe and everyone else as well.
