I love this game. It really is one of the best straightforward action top down twin sticks ever. I love that there's no reloading BS for the main gun or that you don't have to trigger.. you just point the stick. I wish all twin sticks did this. I love how the grenade and rocket auto reload over time and I don't have to do anything. I had it on my now dead PS3 but I did manage to transfer the files. Unfortunately with RPCS3, even though listed as compatible, the graphic corruption is terrible, about 20% corrupt, which makes it ruined (well for me anyway it does). So I thought I would try the 360 version in Xenia.. You can make it look amazing with the new AA options and upscaling, incredibly sharp.. but yep! Like with almost everything in Xenia, it crashes whenever a stage is finished. So I went to buy the PC version and of course Steam and Origin still sell it but have delisted it from my country. I bought an Origin global key from a third party seller and just played through the first three areas and bosses. Will do the last 3 areas tonight. WOW at 1080P (unfortunately it won't go to the 1440P of my screen) the laptop is like 500 FPS lol even with the 8X MSAA setting, so I locked it at 120 with NVCPL. I don't see the point in heating up the GFX card to that degree, i'd rather a rock solid 120 (screen is 240hz) and a dead quiet laptop. G-Sync is on, it's been the smoothest experience ever playing this game (so far). I can't make it look as good as the Xenia 360 version at 1440P but it looks good enough :) And unlike the Xenia it is not using 100% of my GFX card to do 60 FPS lol.. It is using 15% to do 120 FPS. Much better.
