An interesting thing I found about the run slide is that since it’s +7 on hit, if you get them with it in the corner it leaves you close enough to combo into medium punch.
Yea I’m tryna figure out his side flip, it can cross enemies like the Blanka hop, and he can do a front flip out of it into air jump, best purpose I’ve found for it is at full screen against Zoners, and DJ, Ryu. I also try to use the air jump to bait dp for punish combo or punish throw into corner for pressure
@@volktol4432the air special is more for trolling cause you can't really bait dj, guile, cammy or juri with it, rashid is still questionnable but don't try it honnestly, the only way this is good is if you aren't on the screen anymore, so like off a wall jump or an enhanced one, cause its unpredictable where you're going and where they are, so bormally people parry the mixes, so use throw a lot and not too much air specials
@@ΚρανίΩ that’s what I mean, like full screen of a wall jump, only other time I use it is sometimes on jumping heavy punch in the corner, or at the end of a tornado combo. And I agree on that as well his throw is very good for him
I'll add another tip against my main. If you see marisa do MP>MP target combo, there is nothing she can do to stop OD mixer. For any other character she can OD gladius and beat any OD reversal in the game except rashid. Her only option is to drive rush to make herself safe but it's a true block string so OD mixer won't come out and she wastes 3 bars.
Great stuff. I am having such trouble adapting to the dash run after the tornado to do that combo that follows with the kick to make the opponent bounce with the arcade stick
4:46, 14:20. Nice. I am having hard time timing run > 2 cartwheel kicks in 4:46 combo. Doubletap forward through tornado needs a moment to register upgraded run , so just double tap wont work.
Thanks for the guide vesper. :) Something I couldn't figure out, is his jumping HP that hops over. It seems possible to adjust the trajectory, but I can't figure out how that occurs? I think it's something to do with the depth of the jump. In some instances, at mid-screen I can get jump in down hp, into an instant jump medium kick that hits. But I can't get it reliably, so I'm not sure what's happening?
I think I figured this out by the way, it's just that it has a different trajectory on block. So if the hit is blocked at mid-screen you can actually flip onto the other side, but if it hits, you fly really far away. Not sure why it's designed like that but that appears to be all I could figure out.
In regards to the first tip, I dont think Rashid gets air invulnerability until frame 6 so the first FIVE frames wont work in that situation not just the first frame.
People have figured out the answer for the spike/wind kick. The recovery takes time and immediate DR opens you for big damage. Also anti air of rasheed is weak

SF4 had an insane option select called "crouch tech". This allowed you to press a button instead of whiffing a throw but still tech. So you can crouching mk if they walk back.

Eagle spike will punish juri for trying to throw a fireball I believe. Saw a tweet from a Juri main that read, “just fcku me, right Capcom?” Like hit her before she recovers from throwing it Lol

Small tip: F+HK will hop over Juri's fireball. And spike will go over and hit her if timed correctly.

it's not a double tap, u have to hold it a bit. otherwise it's just a dash instead of THE run

Yes you have to hold the forward press I think, but press the kick button as soon as the animation starts and you’ll get it

I'm not sure, but it definitely has AA invincibility.

You can DI after or Drive Rush in their face and still have the time to punish. Wind enhanced Spike is safer.
