I think their eternal form did exist, but not in the 90s anime, only the manga, which came before the 90s anime, and Crystal, which came after the 90s anime

Sailor moon stars the name first came out in March 9, 1996 in Japan. We here in the western (aka USA) didn’t get it this reason for very stupid reasons, but technically it should be classified as a 90s anime. Sailor moon Stars anime ended in February 8, 1997
