Actually, Cannonbolt doesn't FLY...it's a FLYTHROUGH glitch. Let me exlpain you how to do: 1 - Step on a ledge 2 - Jump then press heavy attack button as soon as possible And Voila! (Only works with XLR8 and Cannonbalt. So keep that in mind.)

I had no idea that crazy trickery with XLR8 and Cannonbolt that allows you to skip across a big chunk of a level was possible until today, will have to attempt this when the copy of Protector of Earth (and Alien Fore but that's not what we're talking about now, is it?) and the nunchuck I ordered arrive in the mail (also still have my save file from when I originally owned it on Wii, can't exactly remember how far I got into the game but I do know I unlocked all the playable aliens in the game.)

Considering this game came out in 2007, that's exactly why they did the QTEs that way. Then again, most QTEs are garbage that game developers put into a game because could rather than because they should.

It's a tad ironic that Max says that despite Wildvine being the objectively least useful in this speedrun. I think the only time he's actually required is the Ghostfreak boss fight.

how do u do the cannonball glitch?
Carefully line yourself up with the edge looking directly away then do the jump+heavy slam while holding the stick away from the edge.
