+Hector Leach-Clay Haha amazing that you spotted yourselves! I think the people next to me when I was filming thought I was a bit creepy for filming you guys! (It is a bit creepy but was worth it!)
WOAH! You're scared of heights and did this!! Even more respect!! This video has struck me so much I have been thinking about it quite a bit over the last couple days!! Such good work :)
Rachel Shannon I started to like them by the end. Some were worse than others, especially when windy! I'm glad you liked it Rachel, keep up the vlogs!!
+nim_video all you would need to do is release one of these every month or so and be known for this kind of work. You'll be pulling in a nice little Google paycheck before long.
Great video i'm looking to do an animated short with similar shots to this in my city I was just wondering how did you achieve the elevation for the shots? Did you ask for access to high rise buildings? drones? open top car parks?
Loved watching this film, it is so beautifully constructed! I am interested in filmmaking myself and so it was inspiring to watch this. What's the name of the track you have used? :)
+HANNAH SMITH Thanks! The track was made for this film by Jilk. You can here a sexier version of it here: soundcloud.com/projectmooncircle/jilk-nim-on-bbc-6-music
Hi there, we've been enjoying watching this. What a charming little film. We film 4k walks in cities, and have just filmed Bristol, so it's especially lovely to see someone doing something similar but from a this quirky viewpoint, thank you for taking the time to add it. Perhaps we could subscribe to each other and share more?
Lovely job Can't believe how many vantage points you found/borrowed Did you shoot stills using a timelapse system? Or video and adjust frame rates in post? Works a treat either way
Eat Pictures Hi! Thanks for the comment! I did a bit of both to see if there was a visible difference so the edit is a bit of a mish mash of techniques!
Kristie Harris Cheers Kristie, I did do the suspension bridge but it didn't look so great because of the maintenance that was being done! Would have loved to have done clifton village but it wasn't too easy getting good vantage points. Appreciate your comment! x
You know you never appreciate this place until you realise how beautiful it is from far - literally and figuratively.
The couple at 3:35 are me and my girlfriend! Really honoured to have made it in. Fantastic film!
+Hector Leach-Clay Haha amazing that you spotted yourselves! I think the people next to me when I was filming thought I was a bit creepy for filming you guys! (It is a bit creepy but was worth it!)

As a proud Bristolian I think you captured some brilliant bits of our city. Thank you!
Nathan Boyd Could you say what exactly makes you proud?
My mum told me not to talk to strangers
Nathan Boyd Thanks Nathan!!
Nathan Boyd I assumed you're a grown up who doesn't see strangers as a threat.
Oh do be quiet.
Fantastic!! Just missing Clifton suspension bridge!
+Axel Ripoll I did try but it was under maintenance and looked a little sad.

Andrew Jones Really glad you liked it Andrew, thanks for the comment
Excellently done. Slider, time lapse and pull focus effect? What roughly were your time-lapse settings? Perfect lens too.
Andrew Jones 4 frames a second for some parts and then video for other parts with a changed frame rate and sped up.
Wonderfully done. Loved the sound effects too. Your channel could really grow quite big with this little gem.
+nim_video all you would need to do is release one of these every month or so and be known for this kind of work. You'll be pulling in a nice little Google paycheck before long.
This is so good❤
this is what the internet was invented for

+plum4338 Thanks guys!
Masterful piece of engineering.
How did you achieve the miniaturisation, a shift tilt lens or some clever post processing?
Thank you Thank you! Miniature effect was created in post, but required filming with the right conditions/planning to optimise it!
@D.I.Y Geek It won't let me respond to you but thank you, and thanks for sharing it on your twitter too!
Loved watching this film, it is so beautifully constructed! I am interested in filmmaking myself and so it was inspiring to watch this. What's the name of the track you have used? :)

Eat Pictures Hi! Thanks for the comment! I did a bit of both to see if there was a visible difference so the edit is a bit of a mish mash of techniques!
I love the video .. as some others have said - it looks like a model of Bristol. I love the speed of the video too. What kind of camera do you use?
Very good but you missed out the most important part. clifton village and the suspension bridge......not bristol without them!
Kristie Harris Cheers Kristie, I did do the suspension bridge but it didn't look so great because of the maintenance that was being done! Would have loved to have done clifton village but it wasn't too easy getting good vantage points. Appreciate your comment! x
Well I thought it was great film and superbly shot, not sure why you think Clifton village is the most important part of Bristol?!
