    Your best bet is try to work for a foreign company. Teaching English here in Brazil is a lot of fun and a great start, but it's hard to make a living as a teacher. I'm Brazilian-Canadian and, in spite of preferring to stay here, I see myself more and more forced to go back to Canada.

      You are right that it is difficult to make a good living as a teacher

    I find it super hard to get a job in Brazil. I live here in Brazil with my Brazilian wife have a permanent resident visa and 4 years of work experience at a subsidiary of shell. Even though no one accepts me. I speak basic Portuguese but i haven't been invited to any job interviews. I think it all comes down to vitamin B which means having relations with friends here in brazil. I am sad because its exactly like Germany.

    Good video as always. Only one thing, it’s possible to live in Brazil as a Freelancer only if you are married with a Brazilian. Doesn’t exist at the moment a visa for freelancer. Only for people who has a job contract outside Brazil

I'd like to ask you about the passive income options/link you mentioned, could you provide some link or advise on the matter? Thanks again mate!

    My question is: if i come to Brazil on a tourist visa can i change it to a resident permit?

      Hi, my understanding is that it is possible to enter as a tourist and then change to a resident visa. I am not an expert though

    The cost of living in Rio de Janeiro is like in the UK. The supermarkets Zona Sul is even more expensive than the UK! How do they live?

    Can you do some videos talking about Sweden?
    I have no idea what is the cost of living there, and I am not sure if Numbeo is a good source
    I make a very decent salary in Brazil, around 2000 Euros, but I believe this is nothing for countries in the north of Europe, maybe is okay for some cheaper ones like Portugal or Romania

    I know a pilot for AZUL who makes r$10,000 a month or $2040 usd
    He'd prob make $10,000 usd if he was a pilot in the US
    Minimum wage in the south of Brasil is r$2,000, the north r$1300

    Hi im a mechanic and own a garage in Dubai since 5 years with a solid experience over 10 years. Of course im used to dubai life style but looking for a less tension and more stable place to live in. Is it worthy to open a luxury car maintenance shop in Brazil ?! Which area is the best for ?! Thanks

    • @nordicinvestor
      @nordicinvestor  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hi, there is a fairly big market for luxury cars in Brazil. (Probably not as big as Dubai though). Imported luxury cars in Brazil are very expensive as the import tax is very high but there are still lots of rich people who have them. The cities with the most luxury cars would be Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Distrito federal and Balneário Camboriú.

      Hello, I'm Brazilian and I can tell you something, avoid Rio de Janeiro because it's very dangerous due to the high crime rate. Balneário is a good option indeed, but it's worth mentioning that famous people go there more during 'celebrations' time. Maybe the best place would be São Paulo, but you also have to be careful (in terms of safety, I would choose Balneário).

    I think if you have asylum recognition papers or asylum applicant status protocol than you can engage with any employment activities legally. But getting other work related authorization in Brazil little bit hard if your are not married with Brazilian citizen or your not belong to investor migration category.

    Im civil Engineer
    Here how I am going to get jobs ?

    • @brendalima5292
      @brendalima5292 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It's very hard for civil engineers to find jobs in Brazil. Many of them have become uber drivers or migarated to other areas to make a living (my husband has gone the manager route and left the technical area, I became a software engineer instead and am now working remotely for a foreigner company)
      We don't have a big offer of jobs for civil engineers generally speaking, and it's specially hard for a foreigner to get brazilian norms for construction, environment laws are very strict as well, I think it would be a little difficult to make this transition 🥲
