- FOUR YEARS LIVING IN ENGLAND!!!! WHAT!! As a foreigner, I've been lucky to call England home for the last 4 years. It hasn't been a completely easy ride, though. Here's some of my embarrassing moments over the last 4 years in England, along with some story time!

Hey! I'm Alanna - a twenty-something documenting my life as a Canadian living in England.
I share the ups and downs of an expat living abroad and what it's really like living in the UK. It's not always easy, but there's been so many wonderful experiences, too. I post a TH-cam video every Tuesday and an additional video every Saturday on my Patreon account. I also livestream every Wednesday and Sunday at 6:30pm GMT on Twitch.

Hi, Alanna. Always enjoy your vids. Clearly you have changed during these 4 years in England. I love it that a Canadian, referring to York and the North says "Its cold up there"! I live a few miles East of Manchester and its rare for the temperature to fall below 1 or 2 degrees C.

I tripped upon your channel (actually TH-cam feed me) by accident and found myself watching & listening to your ranting and raving but was not bored! I cannot pin down what it is in your delivery style that managed to keep me watching as I normally only watch instructive TH-cam videos. Well done, you deserve the subscription number.
I think I just realised what it is... it's your relaxed style, not afraid of making mistakes (not sure if you were lazy to edit them out or your take-it-as-it-is format), your 'could not care less' attitude, YES your humour and your (sometimes) lopsided way of looking at things. That's what held my normally short span attention. I was constantly surprised by the words you used and the way you phrased things. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you.
