Hi, i have subscribed recently, i really like how you you play piano (or midi i guess), can u make a video about how u learned to play it? give some tips and also what do u think about apps for learning piano like melodics, simply piano and etc? What would be the best way to learn to play keys?
Thanks for the sub fam, I’ll make more videos about how to play, rhythm, the right notes etc. like i said in the video I would start with a scale, and start learning chords in that scale - that way you can create a whole musical idea in one key and pitch it to other keys if you want. FL studio has scale highlighters too when you turn them on, it shows you in piano roll what notes work in the scale. I never tried the apps but I’m sure any practice with a routine will be helpful. Learning songs is dope too but only learning songs doesn’t give you as much freedom when you actually learn scales and stuff - because then you can create original ideas.
I don't know if I prefer having the (dream) ability to play or to have the best sample, loop to flip. Seems that knowing "how to play" is another level, even more insane with the HD quality sounds that Kontakt, Omnipshere, Roland, ect, had... I heard about voicing too. It's a really dope technique, so pleasant to the ears. Even more powerful when you ppl use different sounds to reproduce a single melody/chords. Hoping for a tutorial on that soon, if you can. Please make more vid about music theory, fam! You're really different from the rest, and your pedagogy game is on point.
@@HobbieOne I appreciate that a lot fam more coming all this year daily Uploads - favorite videos are the ones like these because it’s less about me “flexing” as a producer, and more about helping the community - because I wouldn’t be where I am without their insight and tips and tricks 🤘🏽
