Let's explain a little more. - First one only works in luck mode and in a 2nd run. You need to enter a special name (you can google it by "luck mode name) and it basically gives you the minimum in stats but 99 luck. This is why you start with 25 HP. Then what happens next is by removing all defense gear, your defense drops to the minimum and when the wolf hits you it will do 14 dmg. So, when someone hit you with more than half of your HP you are literally sending to fly away. This allows to skip the death cutscene. - the second one is way more easy. What happens here is that the game allows you to move for about a second once you enter death room. Then if you back inmediatly , the cutscene will still be played, but since you are not there it will never start. Then you can go normally and play. This doesn't work in PSX version cause it gets glitchy and would probably kill your run by looping it. And there's actually a 3rd way to skio it. It's with a reversee shift line. What you need to do is get a neutron bomb by not having any hearts left from the dracula figth and use it to level up by killing the last wolf in the room. Yo need to have the game camera touching the rigth end of the screen (which means the camera would not advance if you move to the right). Then you need to destroy the stone that conteins a turkey and being one dash away from the stairs(you need to be almost perfect a dash away, this is the hardest part). Then use the neutron bomb while dashing to kill the last wolf in the room (you needd to lure him to the end of the room before). The bomb will kill him and give you a lvl up while dashing. This activates the glitch and you must hurry to the death room and you will succesfully skipped to the other side.
not quite true, you don't need to have a 2nd run file to do the "big toss" damage boost thing to skip Death stealing Alucard's stuff, I have done it with no saves on the memory card
For the first method unequiping just the mail and j's necklace will lower your defence enough to be launched, this way you still have your damage output and atleast some defence to make it to a save room, where you can then re-equip whatever you took off. Note that menues cant be opened after the skip untill you reach a save room and use it
For the second version, this works for PSP as well as the latest Android port. You do not need to slide in and out, just run in and immediately run back out, wait for the music to stop, then proceed on without encountering Death.
The second one you dont needa get fancy you can actually just enter the room and leave immediately anyway possible like walking in and backdashing on the first frame just as long as you leave instantly or even just walking in and out
solo necesita poner el codigo X-X!V"Q antes de comenzar el jogo en lo primero metodo para que ganes un laz lazuli. El segundo metodo no importa si tienes o no lápiz azul, puedes hacerlo sin ningun codigo. hasta pronto !
I've tried a few times on Xbox 360 for Method #2, but I haven't got it to work. I dash into the room exactly like in the video, I move back into the previous room, but when I go back Death is there. As I dash, I start holding Left so he goes right back in. I will try more, but it takes a good 6-8 minutes to do a loop.
Tried this on the RetroGames browser version (that is ported from ps1), but I can't get the second method to work. (they have two versions, the hack version has the glitches fixed and the other is suppose to be the normal one, but even the normal one might have the glitches removed as well.)
Just make sure you fully leave the area first. If you reenter from the left or from gap in the bridge above it'll softlock. Once you enter the alchemy lab for the first time youre in the clear as hes replaced there by Slogra and Gaibon
It's what I did when playing it through DXC. I legit thought if I triggered the cutscene but backwashed the second I entered the room then the flag for that cutscene would be set to played. Basically my thought process at that time was "if I do this maybe it'll confuse the game" I had both DXC and SoTN on my PSP so for the longest time I tried doing that Everytime on the PS1 version and to no success did it work.
Maybe because ive played this a billion times and wouldnt mind having the gear from the start without needing to remember what cooky commands to input on the save name.

Doesn’t give the luck mode name.
That’s some great explaining.

It's really nice strategy for beginners or speedrunners as well 😊

Its really useful!!! Helped me a lot thanks
The first method also works on the 1st wolf, but the saturn version only works on the 3rd wolf with a little jump to get the correct height.
What is the music at the beginning of the video?
i just did the second one on accident while testing a new controller haha
🔥🔥🔥
PS1 Version has a Swirling Background in the Sky. the PSP, PS4/Requiem, Mobile does not have that Swirling Sky Effects.

@@DarkSannin nope. I think the PS4 version might, with the two games.
I tried multiple times on x360 ver,not working
Love this game
Super cool!
Thanks man I'll try it
Nice playing
I love this 😍
I actually somehow figured out the second method on my own just by casually playing
Cool 👏🏻👏🏻
Does the second method work on Xbox 360 version?
I think so
Another way that I found by accident is like the second one, just walk in and immediately slide out
Good playing
When the wolf hits me im not getting launced. My hp is 24 what am I doing wrong? Axearmor save?

cool, tho I didn't feel sotn to be hard at all, it's pretty easy and haven't had to grind levels like in other castlevanias (circle of the moon ffs)
Too good
I've heard this 2nd method also works on the android version
you need to have Lapis Lasuli to make this happens! That means you need to defeat Dracula in reversed Castle!
Works in sega saturn?
I've never tried. you can try it and let us know

I'm new to the game what does this actually do?
You start the game with coolest gear to feel powerful, then it's stolen from you. This way you can keep it
@@АлексейКазаков-и5ц yeah I managed to do it and just destroyed everything😂
I did it by accident all i did was go forward towards death and back really quick and it skipped it
Nice
Super
Nice gameing
You overcomplicated the second method, you can just walk into the room with death and mash the backdash button, it's super easy

This game is easy enough as it is, even for beginners so I've no idea why you would want to do this

@GENXGAMER88 Lmao I was wondering the same.
If it's so easy why did you enter the video lol
The first version is easier when you use the X-X!V''Q luck code and your stats are really low.
definitely bro. Thanks
