I like how the show gave more context to his scenes. 1) He remained loyal to SkekUng (he was the only one who kept cheering for him during the challenge without flip flopping) because unlike SkekSo, SkekUng actually listened to his advice and never abused him psychically even when he was angry with him. 2) Once the Chamberlain lost, he was the 1st to pounce on him, because of what DkekSil did to him all those years back. 3) His relationship with Aughra has completely deteriorated to the point she didnt bat an eye when he was killed.
As a kid watching this movie, Skektek was my favorite SkekSis since he had a cool Voice, Cool Design, and because he drained PodLings which was one of the most terrifying scenes in the movie. I would imitate his voice which was in itself an imitation of Peter Lorre.
I have known Skektek for a long time, but I didn’t think that he would end his life like this,😔 I also have to admit that the essence worked better before when there were giflings😉

Skektek was so cool and steampunk, he had an awful life that is pretty much true to real world events: the harder you work the worse they treat you.
