Anyone who makes these just know that holographic glitter is the BOMB to use along with the typical metallic like glitters! I’ve been doing these for years and I tell ya I never leave out the holographic. I don’t entirely cover the bulb with one glitter I play around with each color and make them into flames after dumping some right to the bottom that first time then turning the bulb slowly going upward toward the opening, you’ll get some nice peaks in there. Then pour your regular glitter in between the peaks. Black glitter in the back makes them stand out even more too. Just play around and I tell ya, you can’t go wrong with these. Just always make sure you drain them well doing the mop and glow, that’s it. The rest is child’s play. Wish I could show y’all some I’ve made. Thank you for the video, very nice! Happy crafting everyone! ☺️💖💖💖
I made these last year. I used white Rain hairspray. It is very easy to swish around and it drys faster then other methods. :) and it is like 98 cents or a 1.00 at just about everywhere.
I have been watching a lot of different videos on the clear glitter Christmas ornaments. Your videos have been the best. Easy to follow, Great suggestions, you don't over-explain. You keep it simple, I appreciate simple! Thank you!!!!
I love making those. Last year we made them using the flat round ornaments and I cut my daughters' friends names out of cricut vinyl and made personalized ones for them. They turned out so cute! We used hairspray though. Worked great!
Mop and Glow! How cool is that? So easy and so cute. Martha's glitter colours are really nice, I know exactly what shade the chocolate brown you are talking about is like, very nice
Oh I remember these, I made a bunch of them for the ornament exchange. : ) I used the pledge floor wax but it all works the same. Yours turned out very very pretty!
These came out very beautiful!! There's just something about making your own ornaments, especially when they're are so easy and they come out this beautiful!!!! Looking forward to your other crafts!!!! :)
This was a super helpful video! You made it look so easy and your demonstration and expiation were awesome. Thank you. You have given me a much better way to do this! Your way is a lot less messy. 💕☺️
I made some of these years ago. I found out the hard way that if you live in an area where you have very hot summers that if you store them in the attic, the inside can melt. I live in Tx so we have horribly hot summers. Just a little FYI. But they do make beautiful ornaments.
oh so clever! several years ago a friend & i made ornaments by putting paint on the inside & swirling it around. they were so pretty & each unique. imagine if we had added a little glitter ;-)
Wow I love it ! Thank you once again 4 sharing . I would have never ever thoughtbof something like that on my own . But I'm definitely going 2 trybit soon .
+CookingAndCrafting it really is an awesome tutorial. but how did u get the idea of using that mop stuff?? just like to know to b able to find sth similar here in Germany. I don't think that mop stuff usually is sticky, is it?
I made these last year using cheap white rain hairspray, don't be afraid to use a lot of glitter, the longer it sits the glitter settles a little so the more u use the better
They are so pretty!!! Also very easy. I am going to be making these. Headed to Walmart tomorrow and I am getting everything I need. I also just subscribed to your channel. Looking forward to your next video.
This also shows how sticky mom & glow is =D This is a great idea. I like you put projects I can do =D They look better then store boght ready made. Nice Beth Thank you for sharing this BIG HUGS xoxo
Just stumbled upon your videos and I love them! I'm an avid crafter myself specializing in wedding design and creations for couples on a TIGHT budget! I'm doing a winter wonderland themed wedding in January and I have a couple of questions for you: where exactly do you buy these bulbs and what is their website (if there is one)? I live in Florida and I can't seem to find the cheaper than $10-$15 for 10 or 12 bulbs! My bride prefers to keep her favor containers under $.75-$.80 each! Any ideas?!!
THIS VERSION I LIKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Way cheaper then Nail Polish. I can rarely afford new polish for myself, I'd rather glitter them up this way!!! P.S. they sell super fine glitter in most Dollaramas here in Canada, as well as tiny funnels.
AWESOME tutorial !! I need to get in the Christmas Spirit...and I think just might do the trick :) Happy Holidays...subscribing to your channel also. Take Care...
I just bought nail polish after watching the nail polish video. This seems much cheaper, nail polish can get expensiveand I already have mop and glow. Also why does it have to be fine glitter? I wonder what it would look like with regular glitter. It seems like it would be nice too.
So mop & glow is a floor wax or floor cleaner? Where's the cheapest place to get it? Do I have to go to Homedepot or lows are can I get this at Walmart or target?
this has worked really well for me but i have 2 glitter colors that seem to need to be double layered. what do you do if the glitter coating inside is too thin?
Do you think this would work with plastic ornaments? Those were the only clear ones I could get. Plus I have younger kids so I stay clear of the glass ornaments for now lol. Please answer my question only if you have the time.
My Sister made me one of these last year fro Christmas and had my name on it, that she had cut out in Vinyl using her Cricut Machine. Do you have a Cricut?
You can use Mod Podge, but make sure to only use a thin coat! Polyacrylic works great too and so does White Rain hairspray, which is the cheapest option that only cost around $1.00...

So simple I think even I would be able to do these. Headed to the store tomorrow to find what I need. Thanks.

They are so pretty!! Mop 'n Glo...who would have thought.
They are so pretty!!! Also very easy. I am going to be making these. Headed to Walmart tomorrow and I am getting everything I need. I also just subscribed to your channel. Looking forward to your next video.

Nicely done!
I won't put that stuff on my floors anytime soon, but will make some beautiful ornaments
Cute! Why did you decide to use mop and glow? Could any other cleaning product work??
What a cute idea. I love it. :)
Clear Pledge Floor Cleaner works just as good as Mop n Glo
Your very clever. Id like to see more crafting videos though lol

Beth..how weird!! I plan on doing a Homemade Gift Giving class and this is almost exactly what I'm doing! Great Minds..All I'm saying ;)
Great video!!! I loooved it!! You are wonderful 😊😆 I have a question though, why does it have to be only fine glitter?
How many ornaments were you able to do with the 4 small containers from Wal Mart?
how beautiful
So cute.
Do you think this would work with plastic ornaments? Those were the only clear ones I could get. Plus I have younger kids so I stay clear of the glass ornaments for now lol. Please answer my question only if you have the time.
cute idea, but it might be easier just to buy glitter ornaments. Big Lots sells like 18 for 6 bucks super cheap and really cute.
Love this!
Very cool thank you!!
My Sister made me one of these last year fro Christmas and had my name on it, that she had cut out in Vinyl using her Cricut Machine. Do you have a Cricut?
Would this work on clear plastic ornaments as well? Thanks
+CookingandCrafting Thanks! 😄
Hi, I just found your channel. Can you use the plastic ornaments or just glass ones
Hello, I would like to know ... If I do not own a Mop and Glo, what else can I use to have the same effect.
Thank you
Marianne Facultatif I was wondering this too
You can use Mod Podge, but make sure to only use a thin coat! Polyacrylic works great too and so does White Rain hairspray, which is the cheapest option that only cost around $1.00...
I have used Future floor wax.
i love this idea :)
Why do you use mop and glo ?
awesome! Thanks for sharing!
Love this
Yeah ill be doing this too...thanks...
so what exactly is mop and glo?
Thank you for your video😁😊
Why yes, my glitter IS super fine! :O)
oooo pretty!!!!
Where can you find the ornaments and how much are they?
can you go back over with another coat of floor wax after the first coat if your glitter doesn't get stuck in all places?
+sonogr41994 you can try. I am not sure what it will do to the glitter already in place.
Does anyone know if these fade and dull over time? Our does it stay clear?
NAg Phillips nope they stay the same. I’ve made these every 2 years for six years and no change yet. ❤️
@@lizdugaro1748 Does the glitter become loosen and sink to the bottom of the ornament?
Michael's and Hobby Lobby have the clear ones
do they have to be glass or can you use the plastic clear ornaments?
I used plastic and they came out great!
this is awesome thank you.....Becky
