There will never ever be a western made like this any where again in our time, I smile allways whenever I hear this music timeless priceless, and all of them are gone except Clint Eastwood,I thank them all for the memories
I must add Once Upon a time in the West ... with The Good, the bad & the Ugly - cause these westerns sealed it for me cause growing up during the 60's - I NEVER WATCHED ANOTHER JOHN WAYNE western movie again, ... oh wait ... another western from the 50's I'll include with these other two is Vera Cruz with Gary Cooper & Burt Lancaster the first western I saw that the cowboys were dirty, unshaven and vicious ....
Just pulled at my heart strings. My dad took the family to see the drive-in triple feature of The Good, The Bad and the Ugly, A Fist Full of Dollars and For a Few More Dollars. We had made a huge bag of popcorn, brought Shasta soda and some kind of candies. Windows fogging up from so many breaths. But what a memory from back in 1970. I'll never forget it was one of the best times he had. Thanks for sharing
Wow, if it was summer time in North America, the usual drive-in season, it would not be dark enough to start a movie until almost 9PM. You guys must have gotten home after 4 in the morning.
That was excellent, I really really thank you for the video, as this is my favorite movie and music of my 61 years has witnessed. I am still fascinated by the movie to this day, and no other movie in this genre will ever better this one, its so SPECIAL! Thanks again amigo.
Fantastic! Your video of the journey and added music and scenes brought a smile to my face. Thanks for sharing and encouraging me to add this location to my bucket list.
Just came across your video. My family and I are going to Barcelona this year for my son's soccer. When we found out we are going, Sad Hill is the second thing that popped in my mind. Lol Hopefully it works out, it is 6 hours from Barcelona, so I'd have to spend a day going and coming back to Barcelonan.
So 'Sad Hill' has been restored indeed. That was an epic movie. I'd like to visit tha place one day. Nowadays only Clind Estwood is alive. Greetings from Brazil.
That is one great video. I visited Burgos 3 years ago and did not have time to visit the site. Hope I can next time. Greatest movie of all times. Thanks for keeping it alive.
Holy League 1683 that will be the most pure way of reaching this destination. You will I’m sure reach a level of cowboy transcendence not reached by many.
Sometimes Happiness is a state of mind”……..you could be all alone in an ancient. cemetery…and be as happy as ever……..and you can then go home and say…… “I. did it..I was there”……….,,,,and somebody would say “yeah …sure. sure……….
Thanks for the Vid, you just reminded me I need to visit. As part of the renovation, I got my son a grave up there, must take him some flowers, have to dig through my emails to find where it is, otherwise I'll have to spend all day running through the site to find it like Tuco did.
That was awesome! That movie is a masterpiece and one of my favorites. The whole dollars trilogy were a turning point for westerns in general. A lot more violent than anything John Wayne and other actors/directors were doing at the time and to me, really depicted the grittiness of that period. I would love to go there.
A film is truly beloved when we speak of visiting Sad Hill as a pilgrimage. I was going to say in 100 years the faithful will still be making the pilgrimage here.. then i read the comments and realized that i was but one of millions of this religious order of the Cemetery of Hill.
Fabulous! What a place to visit and what a memory to have. I think everyone who is human would love to be there. It’d be amazing to find the very rock that blonde didn’t write the name on! What an artefact that would be! Thanks for a great video from Britain!🇬🇧🇺🇸
very funny video !! I wanna go there, too. And I planned that i will be there in one year. I cant wait to see Sad Hill Cemetery. This is my dream from my teenage years. Good job bro. I wanna feel same things :)
this is just a fabulous update on how the site is now, got quite emotional watching this, will never get there in real life but thanks a bundle for getting me this close.. muchas gracias sènoir 👍👍👍
Oh my God, what a wonderful feeling when you see this cemetery that I used to dream of being there and see this cemetery and Branston Bridge It is a great thing to go there and remember this history may one day come true
Wow just wow thank you so much for the video and bringing me back in time what an amazing place and it still looks the same as it does in the movie. I appreciate you both thank you
@Leonel Provenzano Hola, el cementerio exisistir existe, pero es la escenografía restaurada de la película. No es un cementerio real, pero sí es el de la película. Visitadlo los que leais esto. Cementerio de Sad Hill en la provincia de Burgos España
Great video! I once went to the film set used in For A Few Dollars More and this film. It's called Mini Hollywood now and it's near Tabernas in Southern Spain. The film set was "El Paso" in the second film. But be warned, it gets HOT down there.
YOU ARE THE MAN! Added this trip 1st to my bucket list. Dressed as Clint on Holloween I was 7 years old. Had a TGTBU bedspread. Have the collector's edition of TGTBU. Listen to the music on TH-cam. Can we find some of the other filming locations? OH C&AP, 1st on bucket list is remarrying my wife at Walt Disney World on our 30th anniversary. Sorry Mr. Eastwood you're 2nd.
love this video very well done sir and Mrs you did something i wud love to do but cant you did it for me ! greatest movie of all time !!! in my bucket list now !

Best option is rent a car and stay in Burgos, half-an-hour from the place. Failing that, you can also book a hotel in Santo Domingo de Silos, which is 20-25 minutes from the cemetery.

Most Italian spaghetti westerns were shot either in Spain (which also has a desert among other advantages) or Italy (for "colder" scenery)
Such a great video, really made me smile seeing you run through the graves a la Tuco 😁😁
