Secrets of Eternity was released in January 2015. This set introduced the Infernoids, a series of monsters that can special summon themselves to the field by banishing other Infernoid monsters from either the hand or the graveyard. Notable cards in this set include Farfa, Malebranche of the Burning Abyss, Qliphort Monolith, Uni-Zombie, Nephe Shaddoll Fusion and a card that would bolster Satellarknight to combat the Burning Abyss Shaddoll Meta, Stellarknight Constellar Diamond. In this series both Nyhmnim and myself will be opening 24 booster packs or one box of a core Yu-Gi-Oh! booster set. We will build a deck and play a best two out of three and the winner will receive a small price to upgrade their deck. However in each episode we will open another box of the next set that was released, moving in chronological order, constantly upgrading our decks before dueling each other at the end of each episode. This is the Yu-Gi-Oh! Progression Series.

You know, back in the og series, and in fact the og yugi and Kaiba pack there was this nice normal trap called reverse trap. It reverses any atk and def changes made that turn to any monsters. If gage had been aware or and had used that card against cimo's blackwings, that would have made a very funny and deserving comeback and might have won him the game if used at the right time and properly. Even if cimo used it later too, it still would have some impact and would be a great card in either players' decks. More so for gage to slightly even the unfortunate odds that have come this series. At least we can rest assured that there are other duelists that getting better luck with remembering to read their cards and also win against cimo. Way to go mbt and others that I cannot remember the name of(sorry!) Please see this O duelists dueling against cimo, and remember for the future.

It only ever came in starter decks (the original Yugi, Kaiba, and Joey decks to be specific) and a side product (Battle Pack 2: War of the Giants.) That said, it would've been hilarious if they had access to it because I don't doubt that Gage would main deck it.
Cimooooo is so much more self aware than literally anyone gives him credit for and i love it. Other yugitubers keep acting like he doesnt know the memes but he ABSOLUTELY does.
'Damage Step' and 'However' have become part of my day to day vocabulary. I'm always looking forward to the new episode because it's a constant I can count on to improve the start of my week. You're both doing an amazing job with this show. Let's make season 2 a banger as well!

What’s crazy is that it literally took MBT one episode to figure out that mind drain is good against hand traps. Gage pulled 3 copies and never played a single one against Blackwings. He actually played a far inferior version of Gravekeepers specifically to out…Blizzard of the Far North. Blows my mind. Gage really needs to work on reading more cards in the packs that he pulls and not only look after the chase cards.
In Gage's defense, this was probably back before he realized the pack opening site had a digital collection and was just taking unorganized screenshots of his pulls to track his pulls.

Prediction time. Hopefully for season 2 they include side sets like the deck build packs, all holo sets, and megatins. I feel that would make things more interesting, and give some chances to snag cards they may have been missed in the core sets.

The last years best of introduced me to the progression series. I binged all the previous episodes and now this is my favorite series. It's unbelievable that we're almost finished. I am so excited for a new season with improved rules. Your doing a great job cim8o.

@@defectivesickle5643 it's well deserved due to him being unable to anticipate and adaptate his strategy against cimo countermeasures (he had consecrated light and the imprisoning mirrors like 5 episodes before using it in the first time in progression (and yes I'm well aware of cimo's protagonist top deck but at least 70% of his defeats are due those reasons))

I just got back to Yu-Gi-Oh! after 10+ years and with all the decks you both build during this serie got me thinking to build some deck for fun like U.A. and Deskbot.

It's wild to see that the Progression Series, in the span of one year, went all the way from the intro of Synchro monsters to Master Rule 5. It does make sense, of course, when a new set is covered every week, but still. Also, gotta say at first I was clueless as to what could top the Gouki mirror back-and-forth match ender, but I should've noticed the conspicuous lack of Kalut throughout the video.
I loved the ending of every kalut for game I really look forward to this and ever one of your series each and ever week each video is amazing and so damn fun to watch

Deck build packs would make the series so much more interesting, since you can actually pull semi legit deck cores
I also hope if they are following the ban list and and erratas of the time of each set, they also let the person draw first until that rule changes.
