@@ericdalhoff3507 Frame can search Ancient Gear Advance, because it specifically mentions Ancient Gear Golem. Other monsters like Reactor Dragon are not in the deck because they’re no longer good anymore (with the sole exception of Hunting Hound, but it is likely personal preferences).
I love that the Ancient Gear Commander it looks like Dr. Crowler with his dueling disk!! And that Ancient Gear Catapult and Advance share the artwork for both!!

Hey DarkAmredDuliest! I have a question? For when I was playing the deck profile you made. I had a hiccup. For Ancient Gear fortress, there is an effect that "Your opponent can not activate cards or effects in response fo your Ancient gear cards." Like friends of mine told me, it only applies to the monsteronly. Not the other ancient gear cards such as spells and traps. So I just need to make sure I understand it right. Does that part of the effect of ancient gear fortress "your opponent can not respond to the effect of your ancient gear cards." Only apply for gje monster they can't respond to? Or does it apply to ALL ancient gear cards?

Relatively casual returning player here, I’ve got a couple of questions if you don’t mind- I’m considering building an Ancient Gear deck (which is what I used to play with my friends at school) to play locally, and I’m a bit uncertain: 1. Would this be considered too min-maxed to bring against local players at Yu-Gi-Oh nights? I’m not too certain how casual or competitive they are, but if they’re casual, would this be a jerk deck? 2. Can this deck compete in local tournaments, against the other crazy decks out there, or is it probably not worth it? Really appreciate any advice, I feel like I’m re-entering an entirely different game, but I’m also excited looking at how cool this deck and Red Dragon Archfiend are nowadays :)
This is a GX deck so no one should be complaining about it of its casual. Competitive wise, this is not meta at all, it can get interrupted pretty badly, but if its not, it definitely can win
