I used to watch my grandma do beadwork and I always took it for granted that it was easy because she made it look so easy. Now that I'm grown I see how much skill and dedication goes into it. Wish I had learned!
Thank you for this!! I have been wanting to learn so bad but no one to teach me. My Uhkomi (grandmother) recently passed away and I never got to learn from her. I want to keep her memory alive by making earrings and basket making.
Thank you so much for this! I wasn't raised with any family that could teach me traditions and things like this and I've always wanted to bead this helps so much! ❤❤❤
Pretty earrings! Your technique is a little different than what I have seen but I think your lines around the heart looked a lot cleaner. Thx for the video!
This is an awesome video, but I would like to make a suggestion if I could. I would suggest that you also add some kind of support in the middle so that the earring won’t start to buckle from wear and tear. I usually use any kind of cereal boxes or small cardboard boxes to add support to the middle of my earrings. 😁😁 I love to see more videos from you as you’re very good at these tutorials and I enjoy watching them. 🥰🥰
I use soft plastic lids from cottage cheese, sour cream, coffee lids, etc...I do this ever since My mom left her beaded pin on a sweater. It curled like crazy, esp. after it was put in the dryer. The cardboard hardened inside. So I use plastic lids, not sure if it would hold up in the laundry though 🤔
Thank you, I had learn that already 😅, I made this video months ago when I first started to get involved, now I’m more familiar with the names of the items I use 😊
This was a very good tutorial! New subbie! Would you mind doing more beaded earring tutorials? Trying to start as a hobby and this was very helpful. Thanks so much!
I’ve only done it once, my mom gave me my own kit to finish what she started for me but it’s been awhile I forgot how so thank you so much for sharing!
Kimberly Parnell , I hope my old video helps you in any way, it’s been a while since I made that video & I have learn so many things along the way , I’m planning on making another video once I get a chance
My cousin was visiting and she dropped beads and stuff for me.i guess,it's a sign to get back into beading which I haven't in years 🧐thank god for your video thank you
I use Nylon sewing thread, it doesn’t rip and holds well. I sell some centerpieces if you are interested and live in the US and Canada you can send me a DM through Instagram ( yessidiy)
(: you can find them on FB beading pages they sell, auction and etc.. you can look up ChrissysCreations, AliBeads(orders over messenger), IndigenousSupplies, ApaturaBeads and many other brands sell these centers.. just look up epoxy cabs/ cabochon/ flatback rhinestones/ centers.. you can also find them on Etsy, amazon, eBay 👍🏻
Love your work. What type of needles are they? Normal? Could you show the packaging? Its difficult matching the thread to the correct needle. I purchased beading needles and cant seem to get the thread through. The size I purchased are #11 - #12 my thread comes apart when i try to pull it through the hole. Should i purchase regular needles is there a difference??? Please help. Thanks! Also i cant seem to find backing for my earrings at Hobby Lobby ??

Yes, faux leather sheets/ Vinyl
Feels great to know there are people watching from a different country ❤️
I purchased mine in my local craft store or from my sister, she sells many but she doesn’t ship outside of the US.
That seems way faster then the way I bead. I'm only adding 4 beads then come back thru 2 of them. I want to learn this way
I want to learn so bad this way
Awesome I love it thanks.
How much would this cost or go for?
Where do you get the centre's and what are they called

would size 11 beading needle work with 11/0 beads? i bought my supplies yesterday and didn’t realize you said size 10 needle
Did size 11 beads work?
Where do you get your Cabachons from?
Can I ask why your needle is so bent? Has it just seen some miles, or is it to help scoop the beads up easier?
Beading needles bend very often. They are so thin and can’t keep them straight, 🥲
Please make more videos!!!
🥰🥰🥰
Thank you
