  • How to measure the Height of a Building using Trigonometry.
    In this Video, the height of a Building is calculated using a Total Station and Trigonometry.
    The Measuring of Vertical Distance is one of many Basic Skills used by Surveyors today, but it is also one of the most important.
    The Video also shows the Height of Various Structures around the World. Including Mount Everest, Mount Matterhorn, Freedom Tower and The Louvre.
    The Horizontal Distance is first measured using a Total Station and shooting to a Prism.
    Then the 2 Zenith Angles are recorded and 2 more Internal Angles are calculated.
    Using Trigonometry the Height of the Building is then calculated.

    2:33 maybe the subtraction of degrees is wrong the answer is 40 73 74
