Keep in mind - as mentioned in the video, alot of trial and error went into this build over time. Some costs could have been avoided and other costs were saved as well!

So that puts you roughly around the price of a ZL1 but with more power. I'm not knocking the ZL1, it's a performance monster in and of itself. But I tell people, buy an SS and have it built it up. The ZL1 is for people who want high levels of performance and still want the factory warranties and dont have any patience for downtime during the building phases. But yeah the Beast is nasty bro. I like where you have it. Enough performance to eat just about anything on the roads, yet subtle enough to be a daily driver.

There are three thing to a build. They are cheap cost, reliable, and power. You can pretty much only ever get two of them. If it’s reliable and powerful then it’s not cheap. If it’s cheap and powerful then it’s not reliable. If it’s cheap and reliable then it’s not gonna be very powerful.
Yes you can always do second hand parts to drive the price down but you pick up other issues. Was it treated well, is it warn out, are all the parts there. All of which still follow basically the same rules when buying.

Does the carbon fiber overlay kit on the passenger side dash have the same type of feel/build as the one on the center of your steering wheel, or is it more like your shifter bezel? I have the same steering wheel piece and while I like it it's more of a flexible sticker with a real cf layer inside and a thick gel top coating than other real cf pieces I have. Just debating whether to spend way more on the GM full piece, even though I think the multiple pieces of your kit gives it more character. Also, how's the fitment on the cf shifter cap?

$20k is actually damn cheap for what you built. If you add EVERY cent, I wouldn't be surprised if this car has close to $40k in it. These cars get expensive quick when you start modding. I added every cent and I'm in $20k so far and only FBO, but that includes 2 sets of wheels, all aftermarket arms and bushings in front and rear suspension, and all the small things like tints and license plate frames. A hundred bucks here, five hundred there, shit adds up quick.
