If you put all your little notions on one ring you can lose them all at once instead of slowly losing them one at a time. 😊
Great haul guys.

This podcast is so timely, as I’ve been shopping for a new trenchcoat! Enjoyed seeing your fiber festival purchases. Thank you for your mention of Leading Men Fiber Arts. They are one of my local yarn shops and it makes my heart sing when they get a mention in a public forum!
We love their yarn and colorways.

Great to see you both at CT Sheep, Wool and Fiber and hear about your experience there at up in Rhode Island. "Yarn Piggery" is a great term..
Plies and Hellhounds yarn is always beautiful! The mystery bag is great fun. Ephermera is a neat name for that yarn..My mother collected ephemera related to children's illustrators.
Happy almost May and best wishes for the Trench Coat yarn.
I've knit both the Porg and the Storm trooper hat for my grandson - have fun. Thanks for another great podcast! I might have to step up my crochet game now 😍

Thank you Diana!
Love the trenchcoat colorway. And Yes, all the new colors at natr. Yeah!!
Delightful as always, thanks for a fabulous start into the new week. Whenever you plan to come to Germany you should definitely got to legopark near günzburg, great for all Lego-enthusiasts. Weather is slowly changing to the better here in Germany, so fortunately no more trenchcoat necessary, love this turtle yarn.
It's a very cool system that you guys seem to have where you use each other's scraps for your blankets so you both get a chance to enjoy knitting with the particular yarn and colourways!
These blankets have been so much fun, it is great to see yarn from old projects come out again.
Trenchcoat! Another entertaining podcasts. Love your knits and seeing your purchases! 😊
Thank you 😊
Thanks for another great episode, guys! Love that Trench Coat colorway, it would be lovely in so many different projects. I bet it'd even be cute in a Musselburgh. 😆
It would look so good as a Musselburgh.
Ooh! I want knit a trenchcoat! Or maybe just the socks. So nice. Love the shorty socks, Kevin. Thanks for sacrificing your budget to break the bank for all of us viewers. Always love seeing all the things.
LOL, we buy it all in the name of community 😂
Another fun time with you guys! I'm 12 days behind on my podcasts so I hope I'm in time to try for the Trenchcoat yarn. It's beautiful!
I immediately thought of Burberry fabric when I saw the trenchcoat yarn !! How fun!!! so lovely to see you back on our screens!!
Us too when we first saw it.
I have been watching Wool and Wishes since they started and love them.. Historically they have had a number of crocheted garments on their episodes. Kristy crocheted a great pullover and I think 2 cardigans. They are a lot of fun and I know it would be a blast to have a knit night with them.
They are so great to watch, love their vibe and projects.
I have just knit 2 pairs of Turtle Purl socks and that yarn is absolutely beautiful!!!! I need to add the trench-coat to my collection. I have the all sorts ones that looks exactly like the candy!!!! You will love it! ❤
We are looking forward to knitting with it.
I love the Trenchcoat color way! Also that Inky yarn of Kevin’s is beautiful!

Thank you Terri! I really enjoy the whole process of dying and coming up with new colors.
The trenchcoat yarn is amazing-- and would be great for mitts. Great Burberry feel!
I love the trenchcoat sock yarn! It reminds me of a Burberry trenchcoat 🥰
Theres not a huge selection of self striping yarn here in New Zealand so would love the turtle purl yarn to make a gorgeous “bourgeois” pair of socks 🥰
Hi, Thank you for sharing your yarn acquiring adventures. Love the socks you make. Fun colours for the summer. I have not knit or even seen Turtle Purl yarns, so am interested in seeing how the Trenchcoat colourway works up. Take care.
We can’t wait to work with it, we haven’t used their yarn before.
Great podcast as always! I love that trenchcoat yarn, what a perfect name.
Thank you Laura.

Trenchcoat. It looks like a really fun yarn. Always enjoy your podcasts. Thank you and take good care.
Thank you Tracy.
The Trenchcoat yarn is beautiful. I have a pair of socks from TurtlePurl yarn-it is delightful to knit with.
Trench coat - and sock yarn! This reminded me of the 2024 Swiss Yarn Festival which I watched yesterday on Fruity Knitting.
One of the fashion show dances was to Singing in the Rain with the models wearing trench coats and holding umbrellas with socks hanging from the umbrella. Fun!
It is such a pretty color, we can’t wait to work with it.
Kevin, I love your new red and orange yarn colors. May need to add those to my wish list. The Trench Coat yarn if also beautiful.
Thank you, I am really happy with how they turned out.
Love your podcast. Always learn so much too! I never heard of Turtle purls yarn and that Trenchcoat yarn is lovely. Have to admit I love a lot of your yarns too!
Thank you so much.
Lovely to trade in our winter coats for spring trench coats. Always a Joy to visit with you both via podcast.
Thank you 😊
Count me in for the trenchcoat. I really like the whole Universal "Uptown" acrylic line. I use it for baby blankets a lot - soft, lots of colors, and anti-pilling.
The Universal yarn is really nice, we heard a lot of great things about it.
Kevin, love the new grey yarn colors. Trench coat colorway is super nice looking.
Thank you, I’m really happy with the new grays.
I love a good trenchcoat. I’m working on the round ten stitch blanket. Love how supportive you are of each other.
Thank you Jennifer 😊
I love hearing about new products from you. Those crochet hooks are genius! I want a set and I don’t even crochet much. Trenchcoat by Turtle Purl is a classic! Kevin, Pine Grove is the perfect green. 💚
We have really enjoyed using them of the past 2 weeks.

Thank you so much. Yay, we are sure your husband will love it.
Trenchcoat is Beautiful. You two are fun to watch!
Thank you so much! 😊
I am also on the jelly roll blanket team! I love Kay Jones’s way of doing it. Although I added a yarnover before picking up the joining stitch and past the two stitches over. Much neater/cleaner join. Enjoy!
That is a great tip, thank you for sharing.
Love your podcast! I wish I had found you when I lived in NY. I would love to knit some socks with that Trench Coat yarn! I always have some socks on the needles to take a break from my sweaters and shawls. Have a wonderful summer! 😊
Thank you Elizabeth!
Yay! Ray casted on a scrappy blanket!! 😂 Love the trenchcoat colorway!
Right, we are both in our blanket era.

Working on a Moonlit shawl. I'm using a different color for the border as well. Love seeing all the makes and purchases.
Happy spring and so glad April showers are behind us and no need for a trenchcoat. Happy May.

I think you can hide all the crochet hooks and notions on the inside of the trenchcoat! Haha! Always fun watching the two of you!
Thank you Dorothy.
Trenchcoat. The colors made me think of Burberry, which may have been the point. Kevin, your shorty socks look amazing. And Ray, your dad's cardigan is so stunning. The crochet needles are beautiful. Happy knitting & crocheting 💚🧶💚
Thank you so much Meredith.
Hey guys! Finally getting some time to watch this, yay! Thanks for being a place of humor and inspiration in an otherwise chaotic world ❤❤❤ appreciate you guys!! Purl 🐶 and I are cozied up on the couch watching!
Thank you so much, we have so much fun making these videos.
I live off the west end of the island of Montreal and for LYS yesterday, I went to the Boutique Les Garçons. I got to meet both Max and Vincent. I picked up some of their British DK to make a Bumpy Cardigan and I also picked up an Emma The Bunny Toft crochet kit which I am working on while I watch you guys. It was my first time going to their shop but I am sure that it won’t be my last. I love a good TRENCHCOAT!!!
We are so jealous, we can't wait until we are able to visit their shop.
I absolutely loved knitting with the Turtle Purl Trenchcoat. I used Leslie Friend's pattern for "Beatrice Mitts". I would love another skein to knit my son-in-law a pair of socks!!
We need take a look at that pattern, it has been recommended several times.
I’ve been eyeing trenchcoat for a while- it’s so cool. Turtlepurl yarn is fantastic.
Hello to you both. Always look forward to your podcasts. I would love to be the recipient of the trench coat yarn.
Trenchcoat. Always enjoy seeing your many WIPs. Thanks guys for keeping me company throughout the week.
Love that trench coat yarn by turtle purl. Thank you both for your wonderful podcast. I always look forward to spending time with you boys every fortnight!
Thank you so much Lisa.
I have been admiring Turtle Purl yarns recently. Trench Coat is gorgeous!! I made a lot of progress on my Petite Knit Anker’s Summer Shirt while watching the podcast this evening. Love you guys! ❤
Love the Anker summer shirt, hope you are enjoying making it.
I always love seeing both of you! I always have a laugh during your podcasts😂. The trenchcoat yarn is lovely -I’ve always wanted to try turtle purl yarn.
Thank you so much Beth.
I’ve been wanting ro try turtle purl yarns - love the matching self striping sets. Trench coat is a beautiful colorway for socks.
Always a pleasure to watch your podcast and follow along with your antics. Love turtlepurl yarn. Trenchcoat is a classic.
Thank you so much Mary!
My first Jelly Roll (fingering weight) I joined my yarns the way she does, but my current version (DK) I am using Russian Joins for my yarn joins and they fall where they may...so only ends I will have is beginning and end of strips. I have always loved the Trench Coat colorway by Turtle Purl.
Trenchcoat! I discovered I have knit through almost every sock yarn I have from binge knitting socks. It's definitely true about the color seasons of the stash-- in February I wanted nothing but cool toned blues and grays and now I'm hungry for sands and creams and browns and greens. It's really interesting how seasonal it is.
Couldn’t agree more, so funny how our color preferences/choices change.
The yarn would make great fingerless mitts to go with my spring trench coat on these brisk spring mornings in the PNW. Love your channel as always. Been watching since day 1.
Fingerless mitts would be really fun in that color.
I love that trench coat colorway. Leslie Friend uses a similar (if not the same) for her wrist warmers. Love your videos!
Thank you!! We can’t wait to work with it, it is a really nice colorway.
I have never knit with Turtle Purl yarn and the Trenchcoat yarn looks beautiful.
Love your podcast gentlemen . And the trenchcoat color skein is beautiful.
Thank you Carmen 😊
Loved seeing all the new purchases. New yarn colors are gorgeous Kevin.
Thank you so much.
Kevin I am making a vest out of the Plies yarn you got! Love it!!!!
It is a really nice colorway. It was great seeing you and getting to chat for a bit.
So happy that I found your podcast, been loving knitting along and listening. Given me so many project ideas!! Those crochet hooks sound like you went to Ollivanders wand shop from Harry Potter but for crochet hooks! My daughter would love that 😆
Thank you so much for watching and commenting, we really appreciate it.
Awwww so good seeing you guys too ❤
Hope you are enjoying your crochet hooks, we have both been using them and really like them.
Love me a good trenchcoat. Not really the season for it now, but knitting socks sounds great!
Great podcast as always. I’ve been eyeing that trench coat yarn for a while. It makes beautiful socks.
Thank you Sherri!
The trenchcoat yarn is gorgeous! Love your podcast, gives me so much inspiration to cast on all the things! Thank you both so much!
Thank you so much 😊
I saw a trenchcoat on a guy when we were touring NYC. Thank you for the opportunity to win this beautiful yarn.
I have always wanted to have a trench coat, but it rarely rains where I live in the interior of BC, so Trenchcoat socks would be perfect!
