The pops and bangs would just be much more quiet. I’m assuming it would sound very similar to what you have just louder and you can hear the turbo a lot more.
It’s a custom exhaust you’ll have to code out the o2 sensors if you go catless downpipe. My exhaust is just no muffler and no resonator catless. Custom piping

Your local muffler shop can do it. Just tell them you want them to cut off the resonator back and make a full strait pipe to the back. You can tell them more like if you want single exit or dual exit. for dual exit you'll have to have the right rear diffuser and they'll have to put a y pipe in. I also have a catless downpipe but i installed that. No a stupid question but i do need to make a video explaining in detail bc i get asked this alot
If you look at my other 1min video on my exhaust before bootmod3 that’s what mine sounded like with resonator and muffler delete. It had pretty good burbles

Sport plus. If your in eco or comfort it won’t pop as much or as loud because I have it tuned that way. You can make it the same for in comfort but I’m not sure about eco
You can get the tune from protuningfreaks just know what engine you have and the exhaust specs are in the description. VRSF is the website I got the downpipe and intercooler from.

Sure you can I think you might have the n26 engine but there is little to no difference between the n20 and n26. They use the same tune to get the pops. And since they’re practically the same engine I’d expect it would sound the same straight piped .

I defiantly drones a bit. If you don't want any drone then I'd say don't go with this exhaust. It also makes things rattle in the car. 3k rpm is the worst but other than that its fine.

@@P44TKO yeah people do say that the pops and bangs can burn or blow out the stock cats. I ran the same burble tune when I had the stock cat on but it was just dialed down a bit and when I took my cats off and they looked seemingly in great condition still but if your planning on keeping the cat on fir the life of the car then yeah the pops may hurt it overtime
I wouldn’t be scared unless your gonna be ripping it all the time. Also check if your car is before or after they fixed the timing chains. I’m not scared because my is post- the timing chain issue and bootmod3 is designed not to completely max out your car so it’s completely safe. Other tuners may give you a bit more horsepower but bootmod3 is by far the safest in my opinion
@@Jah_NYC oh dang yeah that’s low miles. Idk is look into what part of the year it was made and see if the chain is after that point and then even if you don’t wanna run stage 2 stage 1 is really just as fun
@@duncancheeves chain and guide problems were only fixed on 2015+ facelift models... before that we all fucked up ahah changed mine few months ago.. mechanic told me the guides were really bad.. a few more hundred miles and it would've grenaded my engine..

There may be other problems with them but the really bad one I’ve read is then. 🤷🏼♂️. You seem knowledgeable so I’ll look into it. Also I’m not sure about the guide thing tho.
If that was true it would have showed when I originally straight piped the car. Not just after putting on the down pipe. That kind of smoke can even be seen with a full stock exhaust on. I’m not saying your wrong but I have looked at it and asked for a professional opinion and I’ll keep an eye on it. Could be burning off of the material on the inside of my new downpipe? I haven’t been noticing that smoke anymore since I first put it on so.
Smoke from the exhaust is likely just the excess fuel being burnt. Burble tunes dump extra fuel that’s how you get burbles. If his turbo was wearing then smoke would be coming from the engine bay. Slick ride sounds great

From my experience and others I’ve talked to yes. It only gets more unreliable if you start pushing unhealthy amounts of boost.

There is just as much drone as there is with the cat. With no cat it’s just more sound out the back. Same “drone” as muffler and resonator

Sport plus. If your in eco or comfort it won’t pop as much or as loud because I have it tuned that way. You can make it the same for in comfort but I’m not sure about eco

Your has a bad head gasket or a worn turbo seal because you have a lot of white smoke

Well it’s about 1500 for the tune and supporting mods. The car is anywhere from 8,000-14,000.
