I did a muffler delete to my C300 2015 Mercedes and it's really a game changer when it's drive mode is set to Sport+ You can really hear the roar upon changing gears!
It sounds way better that I thought! AMAZING!! So I read somewhere that the muffler delete could clog up dirt and stuff like that, over time. @Shumile or anyone who has done this, have you guys experienced any such problem after doing this?
If you want this to sound more aggressive. Go with a catless down pipe and get a performance charge pipe. The catless will throw a code but you can always throw a burger motorsports jb4 on it which will clear the code. It will also give you a few different ecu maps to run with different boost settings. Do all of that and you’ll be pushing 335i power easily.

So you did a muffler and resonator delete as well as installed the straight pipe section 2, but in your video, when the mechanic was reinstalling your exhaust tips, it looks like two little resonator shaped things were installed. What are those two little pieces? Are they little resonators or just attachment pieces simply just connecting the tips to the rest of the exhaust system?
Did you have any issues with the exhaust actuator throwing any codes? what did you do with it when you did the muffler delete? My exhaust place said they couldnt change the tips because it would throw a CEL.
Honestly its smarter if i dont give my take on that, because its a different engine and it will sound different, for me, it does not drone, and i was afraid of the same thing, it being way too loud and sounding like a civic, shockingly tho, id actually would be ok with a little louder! When you're inside the car, you dont really hear too much, its literally the perfect set up, not too loud, and not too quiet, no drone, not raspy and it pops and crackles.

Westside Drifters I wouldn't say 90 degree, but a pipe that goes from the exhaust tips to the straight pipe. That's it. You're taking away the muffler and reconnecting pipes.. fairly simple if you understand how it all works lol

hey i have a question. i have a 2018 33oi xdrive and i just did a muffler delete a few weeks ago and now im thinking of doing a resonator delete too. it looks like when they did your muffle delete they also removed your valves? i was told by my muffler shop that removing the valves would throw a code? and i was also told i have two resonators, one in the middle in the same spot that you had your resonator removed and one closer to the front of the car kind of before where the cats are is that right?
Yeah pretty much. Its so much fun, never thought id say that about a non dual clutch transmission, but this ZF is damn near perfect! Never felt such reliability in a transmission.

Do not, cause it will void it, but if you really want to, you can always have the muffler welded back on, but idk if they would realize, I'm sure they wouldn't, and it does not drone!

In total with the straight pipe and labor costs about 430$, but with a Resonator delete and muffler delete you should be at 280-300 max and achieve the same sound.

Design is good, fitment was tricky, welding must be done, and it does not drone at all!

How much was the straight pipe? I got a 335i m sport with the resonator and muffler delete I’m trying to straight pipe from back out.
You can code the exhaust flap (valve) open all the time if you want.
Pretty sure the valve is 328i and 335i factory installed. 320i guys with single tailpipe are stuck quiet all the time.

So you didn't change out your downpipe, just supersprint straight pipe?
Kept the super sprint straight pipe, installed it, made no difference in sound, went back to the shop the next day and this video was made.
