I understand that making different content and wanting to branch out to others, but you have made some of the best JJK content and analysis video's I have ever seen.
Easily. I have 0 knowledge about animation yet the way dude explains things has made me understand so much about the medium. Also in getting to know the names of these great artists.
Please don't stop making content. I understand life and work happens, but literally no one else on the internet can replace the content you do. You are so passionate, informative, well spoken, your content is the highest piercing pinnacle of the top level quality in this genre. No one else does this. Not to mention while looking like such a snack that anyone with ADHD will constantly be distracted so their disorder is perfectly managed throughout the video. Good luck with your new/old work/life situation!
At 25:57, Yuji isn't sticking out his middle knuckle to avoid breaking it, it's actually a special martial arts technique called "Nakadaka Ippon Ken", by concentracting a lot of pressure at a singular point like that, you can do serious amounts of damage, especially to anywhere like the neck, face and ribs
@@warudos ahhh right. I don’t think he learnt any of them I think he is just that gifted. Like naturally doing it without thinking. Cause his world record sprint at episode 1 is like actually insane.
@@Jummugest Actually I'm gonna say that he was probably taught by someone like either Gojo or someone else in the school who specialises in martial arts, Yuji has nothing going for him apart from his natural resistance to things from Sukuna, his bodies insane physical prowess and his ability to control his own CE, he would absolutely need to get good at martial arts if he's going up against 1st and Special Grade enemies, and it's not hard to believe that he was able to learn all of this is a short period of a few months, as it's already seen that Yuji is not only highly determined, but naturally adaptable and picks things up relatively quickly
Man, they were barely scraping by and managed to produce one of the best visual shounen seasons ever. With a slightly less worse schedule, let alone the two years of production they were supposed to have (over double the time they ended up having) I cannot even imagine what we would have gotten, what we were SUPPOSED TO GET. We are the ONLY REALITY OUT OF INFINITE TIMELINES THAT GOT A BOTCHED JJK SEASON 2 SCHEDULE.
Sunghoo Park walking away from JJK is probably the best decision he could have made. Anyone who's seen ep 1 of Ninja Kamui will know why. It looks better than anything he did in JJK (probably because he was actually able to finish it). We can only hope that Gosso stays on for season 3. Even Hakuyu Go was criticizing the production and Vincent Chansard said he's never returning to work for Mappa. I'm worried for the Chainsaw Man movie.
@@User_95168nah, he enhanced the experience and filtered away the battle shonen normies, making csm one of the best looking shows of the decade and an unforgettable experience
This video is the cherry on top of all your JJK work. It sums up what this season has been for me: a canvas for creative freedom (even the director plays with a new style!) with passionate and amazing artists, working in an impossible schedule. Thank you once more for this exhaustive breakdowns, I wouldn't appreciate the effort and the beauty without them. Also and more important; hope this video means that things are going on better for you . ❤️
42:40 I know its beating a dead horse at this point but Tokuno’s decision to hold the scene for a couple seconds before todo says “we are the exception” is what was missing in arifumi imai’s episode too imo. Gojo’s line feels kinda rushed and doesnt really have a lasting impression compared to how todo’s speech was adapted. Couldnt help but point this out since both scenes are so similiar in nature 😂 (Todo was very well drawn here too so the way its adapted obviously matters alot)
I've watched this video 4 times now, and every time I watch it, it becomes even more wonderful. I'm going to leave my comment here just to help the video engage and spread even more. Please keep doing the wonderful work you do.
Glad to have u back GOAT 48:54 Was waiting for your breakdown on this part which was a surprise for everyone considering it's so much different from his usual style
The remix of Mahito’s theme really does a lot to help carry the kinetic energy of his final fight with Yuji. Seeing the animation without the music there lessens the oomph a fair bit.
Thanks for your monumental work, for letting us all enjoy all the beautiful things you've noticed in the second season of JJK. I'm extremely glad you're gonna branch out towards different animation projects, and I'm really looking forward to seeing what you will offer us!
It really amazing but also at the same time depressing because while this amount of teamwork saved shibuya end production. It's also a new excuse and way for Manabu Otsuka to convert the overproduction nature, in his mind he can own as many shounen projects as possible no matter how bad the schedule is because all he needs is one or two famous talented animators to get people to work together through almost impossible deadlines.
Another stellar video! Your content is so easy to watch, this was the quickest hour and thirty five minutes ever. Could watch your analysis for hours and hours. I’m able to appreciate and understand so much more about what it takes to bring animation to the fans and all the work put into it that we maybe take for granted. You help me see the little things and appreciate all the beautiful moments in each episode. Thank you for your hard work! Thank you thank you!!
Another amazing analysis video from Manko as per usual. I discovered your videos about 6 months ago and I’ve learned so much about animation ever since. Your videos are always so informative and they give me a new appreciation for anime as a whole. Thanks for making content for us despite the stress that everyday life brings. Good luck on your future endeavors ❤️
What a wild ride this season was, in all aspects. Gosso and the many first time directors and staff in this project proved that they'll be invaluable assets in any project they participate in. Part of me hopes Gosso eventually directs shows outside of MAPPA so he can actually realize his ambitions without the issues had on this show. Now that the JJK arc of MankoMan is over, I wonder if you ever considered breakdowns or videos on older shows, OVAs, or movies? Idk how much knowledge you have on staff and productions of pre-2000s anime, but animation analysis of high tier/influential productions like Run Melos, Gunbuster, Magnetic Rose, Spriggan and others would be fascinating if you were willing to do research on those. I know it would be harder since we wouldn't have as much documentation as we do with modern shows but if you tried it at least once would be pretty cool. Either way, with the amount of new shows and 21st century stuff in general that deserve a video, anything you got coming out would be interesting
1:11:09 At first i thought it was an error as well but it's not, it's todo telling yuji about their attack plan using the rock throw in the next sequence.
Bless you! Finally, the analysis I've been waiting for huhuhu~ And congrats on the new life chapter, from what I can tell you're a hard worker and I'm glad all of your work paid off

1:26:32 That's not Sukuna's and Yuji's face spilt . Both sides are Sukuna's face. You can see it in ep 2 and even in some illustrations done by Gege , the right side of Sukuna's face has something like a mask and the left doesn't, but that left side is still Sukuna's face not Sukuna in Yuji's body.
Great vid. Can't wait to see all of the episodes undimmed and unghosted. I am just hoping the working conditions will be better for season 3, because they have their hands full with the amount of action.
I hope things have gone well enough so you have time to make more videos, I like jjk so having videos of your depth into it's animation is cool, but It would be interesting to see an animator spotlight(TNK one would be awesome if I may suggest), analysis for other shows(perhaps some that might finishing airing by the time you will get to it) or just other stuff you already have planned, regardless these are just thoughts, reality is harsher, so even with a large interval between videos I just appreciate you're still doing these.
